DO IT HERE DOWN

In Memoriam De

Er, not quite. Just dormant. We'll dredge it up and continue constructing it. But with property values these days... --DTPraise KnowledgePK 03:16, 23 June 2009 (BST)

er, thanks

But I really don't catch that much hell? --Cyberbob 02:12, 20 May 2009 (BST)

Congratulations

On the best user page (based on the best series of novels) I've seen in quite some time. I'm assuming you're a fan of the Dark Tower? --Pestolence(talk) 00:09, 4 May 2009 (BST)

Hail, gunslinger

Long days and pleasant nights. --_Vic D'Amato__Dead vs Blue_ 02:19, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

I was starting to wonder how long it would take before I saw a Gunslinger in Malton. I was beginning to lose hope. --_Vic D'Amato__Dead vs Blue_ 02:26, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Got the full series for Christmas of '07, had them finished by this time last year. So you could say that, yes. --_Vic D'Amato__Dead vs Blue_ 02:29, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
I'd have to say either The Waste Lands or The Drawing Of The Three. I was a big fan of Eddie through the series, though. --_Vic D'Amato__Dead vs Blue_ 02:34, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Not at all, it's been a while since I've been able to discuss any books, let alone ones that I'm passionate about. At first, the ending felt a bit rushed, but it grew on me, and started to make more sense the more I thought about it. The Tower represents atonement, I think, and Roland is still forced to relive his past until he's able to make up for all the things he did wrong, like dropping Jake the first time they met. When he was walking through the Tower and seeing all the events of his life unfold again in front of him, I think that was his Judgement. I don't think King is big on preaching via his work, but that seemed to say to me "Live your life right the first time, or be doomed to try it again until you get it right." --_Vic D'Amato__Dead vs Blue_ 02:48, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

I just like gunslinger references. :) DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 12:23, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

I just finished The Drawing of the Three, and started on The Wastelands. I'm already hanging for an epic ending! DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 16:47, 11 May 2009 (BST)

The books go downhill after Wizard and Glass (Book IV), in my opinion. They're definitely worth reading since they are still great books (even though Stephen King took an enormous dump on the main characters), but the end of the series just didn't live up to the expectations the first four books built up in my mind. However, from what I've observed, people either love the ending or hate it, so maybe you'll be one of the first group. Let me know when you finish and what you think of it! --Pestolence(talk) 20:17, 11 May 2009 (BST)
The mate who lent it to me said the same thing. I will be sure to tell you, Pestolence. It's the sort of series that you talk to people about for hours. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 06:27, 13 May 2009 (BST)

Why was I with who? Vigeous RHA 11:20, 22 August 2008 (BST)

Uh, I don't believe I've ever been a member of a survivor group. Much less the Imperial Guard. Vigeous RHA 02:18, 26 August 2008 (BST)

Saved for Archival Purposes

"Haha, Butthurt. I like that term. You couldn't be more right my friend. In my considerable time spent on the web never have I found a more uptight self righteous group of fools than I have at the RG and Brainstock. Not all of them of course, just most. I know its wrong but I take a (admittedly guilty) pleasure in playing most of them like fiddles and working them into a "tizzy". A tizzy in da hizzy. But whatever, its just a game, and this is just the intarw33b. Way to rise above it all. Too bad I can't learn that lesson... I am just too addicted to screwing with people. --Dhavid Grohl 00:07, 3 June 2008 (BST)"

Nah man, I just think it was a little rude. Alls fine now.--Haliman - Talk 00:59, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Roland

I am the original Gunslinger in Malton my friend. I think I may have to hunt you down and kill you for being a wannabe.. hehehehe. Happy hunting:)

Benzuli Expansion

Well, to cut a long story short, the Benzuli Expansion is a pro-survivor group operating out of a neutral zone we control in Gibsonton, though largely trained in combat due to many of the characters being ex-PKers, or the alts of PKer players. We've just finished fending off the Imperium, who found that they had started the wrong fight. Misanthropy 02:42, 25 May 2009 (BST)

No prob, bob. Hit us up if you need a revive in the area, or if you've got beef with a group we can justify going to town on. Misanthropy 02:50, 25 May 2009 (BST)
