Nope, they've got to come to their own consensus. We don't delegate levels of control, it's part of how we stay out of the conflict. The changes function of any wiki is pretty mechanical. You can completely replace an article on War and Peace with one about ballbags and it'll still assume that similar phrases are unchanged. That one just saw the two dates the same and assumed the text was spliced into a sentence instead of added after it.
