Category talk:The Imperium
Interesting introduction. Quickly changed a couple of spelling errors/typos. Great game flair!
The Glorious Battle
I quite enjoyed killing, and being killed, by you guys. The war was rather fun, and we should all do it again sometime! However, as you can see by this WPKU Broadcast we're all moving on now.
It was fun while it lasted, hope to see you around sometime. ----Ash | T | яя | 14:21, 29 May 2008 (BST)
Paynterton
Hey there. I've seen all of one of you guys in Paynterton, and that was one time. I see you added yourselves to the local groups, and that's cool and all, but if you're not actually here then I'm going to take you off of the Suburb page. One dude being in Paynterton one time does not really equate to two of your subgroups having a presence there. Not trying to be hostile here, but there's been a rash of folks putting their group ident in the 'burb lately, and not even half of them are actually present in Paynterton. I'd know, because the South Paynterton Aces are the largest group in the suburb, and we go out of our way to see who's around and try to work out how best to pool our resources. If you are actually legitimately making a presence in the suburb, I'd love to talk to you about your plans. -- Diano 23:58, 19 May 2008 (BST)
Question
Do you ally yourselves with other groups? If so, UNIT's interested in working with you.
--John Taggart 13:43, 3 Feb 2006 (GMT)
Ooh, nifty!
This sounds COOL!, but, what IS this Warhammer 40k thing? And, why does everyone think it's silly?--Aimee Lee 23:37, 11 Jan 2006 (GMT)
Alphabetization
Why is this listed under "C"? Shouldn't it be "I"? -CWD 04:42, 28 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- Fixed. The sort key started with "Category". --Chester Katz 19:23, 28 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- Thank you, that had been buging me. --Alexei Yaruk 05:56, 30 Nov 2005 (GMT)
Having Fun
To those vandalizing the page, please stop.
To those of you knocking people having a bit of fun, you can piss off too. You're right, Urban Dead has nothing to do with 40k. But then again, it doesn't really have much to do with anything. It's fun to roleplay as something, we're adding another dimension to the game for ourselves. You're welcome to play along if you want, if you don't, then that's fine, too. But please, let us do as we will without harassing us on the wiki. - RosutoEnzeru 03:36, 5 Dec 2005 (GMT)
You wiki guardian enforcer-type bouncer folks (IMPERIUM wiki guardian enforcer-type bouncer folks, not the actual wiki guardian enforcer-type bouncer folks)...
Check the forums - Imperial Policy. You two seem to be far more involved in all this than I would ever care to be, and I want your input on the latest announcement. Preferably tonight. And since you seem to spend as much or more time here as on the forums... yeah.
I have three hours to burn because I'm on campus, without all games, until then, so I can get started right away.
I hope I did this right...
Derision
Hey guys? 40K background is stupid and derivative. Just thought you might want to know. --LibrarianBrent 04:10, 1 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- I... SEE. And how is the chapter librarium doing Brother Brent? All is well with the neophytes I trust? Alexei Yaruk 06:18, 2 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- The name isn't in reference to 40K anymore. I was actually considering changing it solely because people keep thinking that I like 40K. --LibrarianBrent 06:09, 3 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- Do, it would be a favor to those still loyal to the Emperor.
- The name isn't in reference to 40K anymore. I was actually considering changing it solely because people keep thinking that I like 40K. --LibrarianBrent 06:09, 3 Dec 2005 (GMT)
While warhammer 40ks background it may be derivative it is not 'stupid'. Each piece is carefully tailored to be as realistic and accurate as possible while maintaining the quasi fantasy atmosphere that makes it such a enjoyable game. The fact that you can not see that is unfortunate, For YOU. Alexei Yaruk 21:14, 3 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- You are correct, Alexei, it is tailored, for a future-tech environment of Warhammer 40k. Employing such totally OOC concepts for a current-era urban city survival game is beyond derivative. A bit of originality has never killed anyone, bringing the only thing you know to a strange new world is only human, but generally people realise how lame they sound and mature a little within their first week or so of playing. BrianSutherland 22:37, 4 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- Not to mention you're breaching a few copyrights, above and beyond the fan-fiction allowance. BrianSutherland 22:38, 4 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- As realistic and accurate as possible? Er... yeah. More like as cliched and plagarized as possible. --LibrarianBrent 01:31, 8 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- Hey guys? Could you maybe read the area above on us having fun? And Mr. Sutherland, you seem to have failed to realize that the fiction of Warhammer 40k allows for planets of all technological levels. It stands to reason that, somewhere out there in the 40k universe, there would be at least one, almost undoubtedly more than one, planet at a technological level comprable to the level which we know and live in. For us to play 40k characters in this setting fits perfectly well within the established Warhammer 40,000 fiction. - RosutoEnzeru 08:06, 8 Dec 2005 (GMT)
The Imperium can only be called stupid and derivetive if you also consider the game to be stupid and derivative, otherwise you are just contradicting yourself. Urbandead is a zombie survival game. Full stop. is it possible to be more derivative? i don't really care, as long as it is a bit of fun. Brent, grow up. Yes, it is most likely copyrighted, AND? if everyone went around pointing that out we wouldn't be anywhere. Zombies wouldn't have been imagined, or frankenstein, or warhammer, or ANYTHING GOOD. and to you Brian Sutherland i say; grow up. IT'S ALL IN THE NAME OF FUN! warlord zephyr 4th january 18:18 GMT
- Your logic is broken. The point about copyright is: If any pictures you've used are copyrighted, you might have to take them all down. While i'm here, i'll point out that, good or not (and it isn't), Warhammer doesn't fit even a *little bit* into a zombie apocalypse. And comparing tiny little metal models to classic 19th Century literature is almost as ridiculous as the idea of space marines wandering around browsing the hardware store at the mall. Should I go on? It's true that playing the game should be fun though, and i'm sure you're going to make a lot of PKer's very happy. Also please sign your posts. --Keith Drudgely 15:06, 16 May 2008 (BST)
- I don't see where anyone is talking about copyright. Second, who cares if we are fangirls or fanboys? We're playing a game set in A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, for Heaven's sake. So who cares if we use the setting to script our own stories? Soror Repentia Azalea 19:55, 17 May 2008 (BST)
- Look harder, it's only a few comments up. You can love Warhammer crossover-comics as much as you want, I don't care. My point was simply that if you're going to 'script your own story' it could at least be coherent, with characters that are believeable within the genre. How could a zombie even infect an armour-clad space marine? It's ridiculous. --Keith Drudgely 10:42, 29 May 2008 (BST)
Confirmed Groups
Hello there. Noticed you added yourselves to confirmed groups. Thre's actually an attempt at starting a discussion on the talk page for that category regarding The Imperium and other groups which are categories. Unfortunately, only one user has bothered responding so far, and to say that his input is suspect would be an understatement. While I won't touch the Category:Confirmed Groups tag at the moment, I would appreciate if you can give some feedback regarding the various points that I've been mulling over. Cheers. — g026r 01:33, 10 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- I know the point you're making, but if you look ont he stats page, Imperium is above 10 members. We're not calling ourselves a confirmed group because of the numbers of sub-groups, which is what the discussion is about. Last time I checked, we numbered 15 on the stats page, as Imperium, which is a redirect to the Category:The_Imperium. But thanks for saying something before just removing it. :D - RosutoEnzeru 08:17, 10 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Template:IMPA
Hello, I was going through the wiki today and I realized that your template seems to have an extra </noinclude> in it. I'm not one to risk a vandalism claim, so I didn't fix it. If you want to see how this affects the pages, go to One of your allied groups' pages and you'll see a </noinclude> right below the template. Just pointing this out to help. -- KFPKTalk 22:02, 7 July 2008 (BST)
Malton Uprising
I have come to understand that DEM elements were involved in the invasion of Gibsonton a while back, therefore, we would like to invite the Imperium and its members to the Malton Uprising against the DEM. While no date has been set, the invitation is open. --Secruss|Yak|Brahnz!|CGR|PKA||EMLN|Templates|RRF|RFTM|Crap|WHOZ||MU|GN|C2008||23:34, 16 August 2008 (BST)
