Neutral Point-of-View

Malton Organized Crime Division (Malton OCD) is a newly-formed survivor group whose goal is to stop cheating. It gives the appearance of being only one member (Detective Pliskin/Snakeeyes0072), due to the facts that it does not reveal the names or number of other group members, and its page only discusses what appears to be its only member.

Unit's Description

• Attention all agents: We are no longer taking part in undercover investigations, as it is a form of cheating. If you have any questions please contact me. To Anyone still "undercover", as you agreed when you enlisted, we have no knowledge of you ever being a member of the O.C.D., you are gone, you are dead, your cease to exist, you are no more. Sorry.

During Malton's quarantine the Organized Crime Division is busy tracking down groups that are taking advantage of survivors by using unfair means, including but not limited to: Zerging or multi-abuse, Using dishonest strategies to gain private group information, Using information obtained through one character to benefit another, Having multiple characters in the same group, Exploiting a software bug, or Infiltrating a group with the intent to harm it (The O.C.D. admits they have used this tactic in the past and has since stopped). The O.C.D will use any means necessary to stop illegal acts such as these.

History of the O.C.D

The Malton Organized Crime Division has been a branch of the Malton's law enforcement since the late 1940's, shutting down many illegal gambling rackets and prostitution rings. The O.C.D now is worried about organizations taking advantage of Malton's vulnerable state.

Our Mission

Our Mission is the dismantling or disruption of major and minor organized criminal groups. The O.C.D is uniquely qualified to dismantle organizations because of the experience, training and expertise of its agents in targeting criminal enterprises as opposed to individual criminal acts of cheating. The framework for the O.C.D.'s program is based on four specific criteria:

   1) We must employ a methodology that yields maximum impact with our limited counter- organized crime resources;

   2) We must pursue targets which have direct ties to significant criminal groups and systematically dismantle those groups;

   3) We must remain flexible enough to pursue regional organized crime groups conducting significant racketeering activity; and

   4) We must ensure that our targets are permanently dismantled or significantly disrupted.

Agents

As an organization that relies on undercover work, we are not at liberty to release the names of our agents. All members at the time of enlistment will receive the name of one other Agent. The only time many Agents will be in a single area is during a raid or crackdown.

How To Help

1) Report any sighting of criminal activity or cheating to the nearest O.C.D. agent;

2) Dont be a hero, you will just end up another statistic;

3) Dont make yourself a target. A Separated individual could easly be surrounded and killed, or worse, become a zombie.

Sunday, July 30, 2006 As you may know, Rhodenbank is a green suburb. At this point a small group of agents is moving there with the hopes to secure a place. If you are an OCD agent please do not be temped to move there, it would not be smart to put everyone in one small area. Please hold out until you receive an order to move. Thank you.

Tuesday, July 26, 2006 The O.C.D is temporaly shutting down for an overhaul. We need to rethink our playing strategy, plus with the way Milton is right now, it’s difficult to keep track of agents. Do not panic, the group will not disappear, and the emails will not stop, but under an O.C.D. shut down you do not need to report in and you do not need to keep tabs on suspects, your only goal is to survive. As soon as a suburb is code 4 again, the O.C.D. will be back. Until then, this will be our last update. Good night and good luck.-Det. Pliskin

Tuesday, July 25, 2006 Our units overhaul is almost complete. I, Det. Pliskin, have taken over as our wiki page moderator. Our last moderator seemed to be a little judgmental toward Pking groups. Some provide a service to survivors. Here is an example: Assault on Stupid Survivors is a group that partakes in Pking, however the group acts as an exterminator that removes the stupid players that appear in Urban Dead. Check out their site if you want to learn more. If you have any suggestions for our site or just want to rant, feel free to add it to our discussion page.
