Suggestion talk:20071213 Remove Super Mega Doors of Steel
But it's winter! I'll be cold with no doors. -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 02:13, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Plastic trees and cardboard boxes can keep the wind out. :D--Karekmaps?! 02:21, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm thinking that unless someone says something completely and utterly incorrect about the contents of the suggestion those are the last Re's I'll make on that page. --Karekmaps?! 17:09, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Wooo! Screw low level zombies! Cause 15 AP standing, 2 AP moves, 25% to hit, and inability to damage barricades aren't quite enough lets make sure that they can't even think of seeing a survivor unless they are chatting actively with a high level zombies player! Fuck Yeah!--Karekmaps?! 11:07, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- I got MoL as a third skill for my zombie alt, no ZKing, and he's doing rather well--CorndogheroT-S-Z 13:11, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- It's a skill required to attack survivors, if there was a skill survivors needed to go outside it would be removed in a second, this is no different.--Karekmaps?! 00:03, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- Attack Churches, kill cades, and hang around with higher-leveled zombies. It's what I did. Zeds are horde players.--CorndogheroT-S-Z 00:46, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, cause zombies can't read newspapers you're making how they play dependant on extremely uncommon knowledge that most people don't know until they've been on the wiki for a long time. Zombies are horde players, but this doesn't change that, barricades make zombies horde players and when they, on average, as a maxed out zombie, only hit about 8-10 times a day on even barricades it makes no sense to say this changes that at all. --Karekmaps?! 14:58, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Funt's Vote
Dupe/Spam - same idea, except the dupe in Peer Reviewed is much, much better. Looks like some thought went into it. --Funt Solo QT 09:17, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Re: - The only thing even similar is that both suggestions affect Doors.--Karekmaps?! 11:04, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Re - both suggestions remove the potential problem of a door stopping a horde. The one in PR is balanced, by introducing a commensurate cost, whereas yours is a big dumb sledgehammer with drool and spittle all over it. But, the aim, and the result, are the same. In any case, it's Spam. Now, remember, it's one Re only, so now you have to shut the fuck up. You have no idea how glad that makes me after all the trolling you've put me through recently. --Funt Solo QT 11:25, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Re - Don't worry, I'll ignore that. Now, there is a balance to the suggestion, which makes me think you stopped at the title. The suggested change to MoL should be more than balancing and keeps my suggestions, unlike the one you linked, from adding another level to the barricades that every building would auto-magically have.--Karekmaps?! 11:36, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Re - It doesn't "add another level to the barricades". Doors would work exactly the same as they do now for MoL zombies. What it does is change the doors from being virtually infinite cades to non-MoL zeds to being weak cades to them. In that sense, it takes away a level from the cades. --Pdeq 11:53, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Re: Two suggestions that try to solve the same problem aren't automatically dupes. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 11:41, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- not trying to take sides here, but karek has duped for less.--'BPTmz 06:48, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- And maybe he will learn from someone voting dupe on his suggestion on such loose grounds. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 09:25, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I rarely dupe, I've spammed for less, yes, but when I dupe I usually search up the link and I usually make sure the only difference is small enough that it doesn't matter. The MoL change and the fact that Doors don't become barricades are massive differences.--Karekmaps?! 13:39, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- They most definitely aren't massive. Massive would be if MoL gave them the ability to use firearms and doors became automated gun-turrets. However, they are viable differences. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 13:52, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- Removing doors vs making them into barricades are massive differences. Making MoL a skill that helps survivors and has nothing to do with doors is a massive change. The fact that mine has anything to do with MoL and his doesn't is a massive Difference. It's massive.--Karekmaps?! 16:00, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
