Talk:LUE/Ulysses Black
Note, of course, that this refers to the in-game character Ulysses Black, not the user or person himself. Also note that Sexy Rexy Grossman is a pretty cool dude, regardless, and indeed quite sexy as well. In a month or two, we'll all look back on these exchanges and laugh.
Try coming to Santlerville you bunch of rotting pussies!
And you will royally get your undead asses handed to you at Downdy Mall. We 'aint no Giddings hicks up in those parts, we're an altogether classier brand of survivor. If we can stop the RRF, we can certainly take down a bunch of undead gamefakkers. --Ulysses Black 14:21, 12 July 2007 (BST)
- Of course this (tongue in cheek) statement reflects only my own opinion and in no way is endorsed by the god-fearing citizens of Santlerville at large. I just couldn't believe how quickly Giddings folded!--Ulysses Black 14:23, 12 July 2007 (BST)
- Careful what you wish for. --John D Freeman 18:25, 12 July 2007 (BST)
- If LUE actually makes the trip over there, I hope you can give us a Second Battle of Santlerville. Anything less and we'll be disappointed.--Insomniac By Choice 22:17, 12 July 2007 (BST)
- What's that? It sounds like the ringing of a dinner bell! --Goolina Gore Corps 00:08, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- What's that sound? Its my head pounding. Ugh, hold me my sweet. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 00:19, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- Right. So when LUE sacks Hildebrand, you have to kiss my ass and say it smells like roses, alright? --User:Axe27/Sig 00:10, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- Don't you mean sacks again? Cause we've done it once already.--Malkav 00:46, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- Never pays to be rude to LUE. Challenge them if you want, but ffs be polite. They've been particularly well-mannered, aside from the fact that they try to chew on our brains. No reason we shouldn't do the same (being polite, I mean, not eating other survivors). --Raja Ram 06:52, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- I completely agree. They have been most polite, unlike most zombie groups, adding another reason to respect them other than their power. And if you're trying to rally support from Giddings it's best not to refer to us as 'hicks' Carl Wolfhiem 07:21, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- I'm not intending to upset LUE, I'm just enacting a provocative challenge in my in-game character. I mean no disrespect to Giddings or LUE at all. My opening statement was for RP purposes, my second was a polite disclaimer expressing admiration at how quickly the dismantled Giddings. Apologies if it was taken wrongly, c'mon Giddings! We're all in this together!--Ulysses Black 14:59, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- Bah. I haven't really met any of the LUE guys, all I know is that they owned on the past 3 burbs I've been in. The one thing I don't like about these guys though, is the fact that it reminds me that I can't remember my old username on LUE. Is sad, no?-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 07:27, 13 July 2007 (BST)

If you guys decide to come, will Barhah Betty let us know on 26.06? I need a few hours to make a batch of my famous TexyMexy* "Not 'cho" Brain Dip. (*Humor credit: One of my RRF buddies, can't remember who.)--Sexy Rexy Grossman 02:52, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- I hope you guys do assault, I want Downdey to become the new Caiger (in the beacon of survivor resistance sense, not the constantly destroyed sense) I'm currently surveying Giddings, phew! 80+ in each corner! Reckon The Dribbling Beavers can take 'em Rexy? I think this battle's on! Looks like someone on our side will need to start make a few diplomatic overtures again on this one...--Ulysses Black 03:58, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- If we really want to piss them off, maybe we should declare we all use Gamespot accounts at Downdey? That'll get their blood boiling!--Ulysses Black 04:03, 13 July 2007 (BST)
As a survivor of Giddings, I wish you good luck Santlerville if LUE decides to visit you. No matter how ready you think you are...it ain't enough. Prepare more. Also...An important lesson Giddings has learned is to evenly distribute survivors in all corners of your mall. ~ Carl Wolfhiem 05:08, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- Thats been rule #1 for a long time now. The problem is most mall-sitters are sheep, and don't listen/and or pay attention to the other parts of the mall. The only thing that matters to them are trenchcoating, and their selves being alive.-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 05:12, 13 July 2007 (BST)

- Come along! The more the merrier! I'm currently scouting at Giddings, but am scooting back as soon as I get 12AP or so. From Ghetto Cow's page it seems you're only a day away if you're in Roftwood, and it does say you're after revenge on LUE? What better way then humiliating them at the gates of Downdey? If you come, i'll vote yes for hoodies! ;)--Ulysses Black 05:41, 13 July 2007 (BST)

As I said earlier on the Giddings Mall talk page, LUE has targets other than Dowdney Mall in sight for the near future. Sorry, but we'll have to pass an destroying your mall for now, maybe sometime later, eh? - Brona 15:26, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- COWARDS! Go run in fear to softer targets why don't you? 'Other' targets? We're only 10AP NW of where you are now! Sorry, but that's a lame excuse for tucking your tails between your legs. I refuse to take LUE seriously now, all your hyperbole is just that.--Ulysses Black 16:48, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- For real? That's disappointing. I spent about 5 hours yesterday in full-scale panic mode because I thought Dowdney was next on your list. And it seems that most of Santlerville have rallied and are eagerly awaiting your arrival. They would be so disappointed if you guys don't attack soon. How about this: if you guys promise to come attack in the next few days, we'll show you the fabled tanning beds that RRF tried desperately to use but didn't. Oh, and did I mention that Dowdney Mall has the most Nintendo Wiis in stock in all of Malton? I don't know any zombie who can resist creating Miis and then trying to eat them. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 17:22, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- You guys sure are eager to get a taste of unlife, huh? Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find the time to give you the fight you want at some point. Oh, and if we were afraid, would we really have gone after Giddings, who knew we were coming and advertised numbers of 400+, whereas last I checked Dowdney is advertising on the wiki 200-400? Go ahead with the not taking us seriously, not like we've seen that from any other targets we've hit. Of course, most of those targets are still rather dangerous right now for humans...in any case, we'll go for you guys on OUR schedule, not yours.--Panthera 20:03, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- We are eager to entertain you, Pathera. Besides Ulysses Black's Roleplaying rantings, most of Santlerville enjoys giving giving a good fight to the zombies. Numbers of meat-caders don't mean anything thanks to your group's excellent skills of attacking en masse. So please don't be discouraged by the numbers on the wiki; I can assure you that Santlerville will fight with honor and heart. If I don't see you in a few hours, come by soon! --Sexy Rexy Grossman 22:25, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- You have to realise Pantera that we're advertising 200-400 numbers at rest level. During the Battle of Santlerville we had up to 1000 survivors at peak. We are taking you seriously, but by your "yeah sure, we'll easily roll over every mall" attitude, it seems you're not taking anyone else seriously.--Ulysses Black 01:22, 14 July 2007 (BST)
- Ulysses, I'm quite aware of the disparity that exists between the numbers you advertise and the ones that actually end up being present. My point was that Giddings advertised more than you guys are, so if we're too afraid to fight you guys, wouldn't we have been too afraid to attack Giddings too, considering we would expect the same degree of variance in posted numbers to real numbers? To you, SexyRexy, I can only say that when the time comes for us to oppose each other, LUE will be sure to give you every bit of good fighting you want. We like fighting eager enemies, much more fun than people who run off and rant about us being lame from their safehouses a suburb or three away.--Panthera 05:22, 14 July 2007 (BST)
- I don't think they need to take anyone else seriously. They've knocked over several big malls. Let's win one against them before we start getting our panties in a bunch. (Well, unless you're like me. My panties are always in a bunch. Goolina's thongs are so damned small.) --Sexy Rexy Grossman 01:35, 14 July 2007 (BST)

Look I'd hate to say it but really the easiest way to kill a mall that LUE has demonstrated is to attack with massive numbers like a whole horde of 200-300 at one time which they did and thats why Giddings fell without a massive seige. No matter how prepared you all if you don't all log on at the same time then 20 online surviors vs 200 online zombies is no contest and whos to say if they come your way they wouldn't do what they did to giddings. Thats all I'm saying as I'm staying far away from them because I respect their power now as they truely are the next shacknews. I will fight if they ever in my neck of the woods but if they not near you don't prevoke them to come there as they are too organized and hit too hard and fast for us to resist.--Colonel Steels 17:31, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- And... the easy solution is to just empty the mall when they attack and rush back in when they ap out! If there tactics are so one note as to be "hey lets all swarm at the same time" there's a very easy countermeasure to that. That's what river tactics are all about. To me LUE seems strong in numbers, but as newbies, lacking in deeper tactics needed for a drawn out seige, which is why I think a longer seige will be their undoing until they get as much in-game experience as the RRF--Ulysses Black 03:11, 14 July 2007 (BST)
- Death is just another part of life in Malton. I spend all my time hunting PKers, cause there's never any good sieges in the NE corner. For this, I'd definitely show. The true measure of any group is its enemies. Dowdney is becoming the next Caiger, and for either side to shine, a confrontation is necessary. Bring it on LUE.--Mr. Gomez 19:55, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- WAIT! LUE! You guys have to ignore these guy's threats for about a day or two. My guy hasn't stood up yet, and I hit the ip limit for today. So, if Dowdney isn't your target at the moment, what is? I really feel like watching/and or PKing there...:).-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 20:10, 13 July 2007 (BST)
We'll get there when we get there. No sooner, no later. You boys and girls at Dowdney have to wait your turn, just like everyone else. --John D Freeman 20:12, 13 July 2007 (BST)
- I still wanna see your next target get obliterated...:).-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 20:43, 13 July 2007 (BST)
Silly me - I assumed Dowdney Mall ran on generators like the other Malls. I didn't know it was geothermal power over there. Can't figure out where else all this hot air could be coming from.
The representative from LUE would like to make a few points:
- 1 - The first and foremost concern of those of us steering the horde is the needs of its membership. The second is the good of the game (what's good for the game right now is lots more people becoming zombies at a very fast rate). I don't necessarily see how attacking Dowdney satisfies either. We're certainly not about to do anything solely to satisfy the desires of one lone voice hiding out in the Food Court - and perhaps you should be glad for that. Until Major Striker started sounding off, I wasn't even sure we were going to bother with Giddings.
- 2 - We don't overestimate ourselves, nor underestimate or disregard, any of the targets we've hit thus far. We take them all seriously, which is part of the reason for our success. I've no idea what horde you're talking about with this "we'll steamroll you" attitude you speak of - but it's not LUE. I expected to be turned away in our initial attack at Giddings, and at Hildebrand before that, and at Nichols before that. In fact, I can't wait for the inevitable moment when we are thrown back and our target survives the night. It'll really rouse the LUEsers' love of a good challenge.
- 3 - When you can overcome our newbie tactics, you can criticize them. Until then I'd break out the Sun Tzu. Lots of things go on during our "simple and inelegant" little forays into your malls, forts, and NT buildings, that you aren't aware of, because none of the people observing them live long enough to pick up on what we do. But if it pleases you to think we're very simple in our planning, by all means, do so. You can sneer at it when you can stop it.
- 4 - You won't clear the Mall out when we attack it. It's a nice thought, but, you won't actually do it. Your actives will clear out and we'll eat a shitload of the inactives, who won't have anyone around to protect them. And then you'll have to choose between devoting a lot of AP to getting them dumped/revived/healed, and doing without them.
- 5 - You won't get 1,000. It's a nice thought, but, you won't. And if you do ... I can bring 8000 AP a night to bear against you with no effort whatsoever. 9,500 is a more realistic number, to be honest. How many nights in a row can you stand to lose as many as 200 defenders? I don't know how many nights you can handle that, but I know how many nights we can inflict it. The answer is "one more than you have."
- 6 - And, assuming for a moment that you can defeat our simple-minded approach - do you really think no one in this horde is capable of a little improvisation? We're not all level 6, you know. And while we're on the topic of plans, where are my royalties for that plan of mine, that you and every other Mall in Malton is running? We've eaten five malls that were utilizing it, and have any of you taken the time to thank me for helping you repel the last horde that laid siege to your Mall? Noooooooooooooo.
- 7 - Don't forget one fort too Vito - Belome
- I'll make you a deal: When you can stuff up our usual nonsense, you can see our unusual nonsense.
--
Let me be the voice of cold, hard pragmatism for a moment. This isn't our first time at the dance, and we're not too bad at working the odds. We're not disrespectful of any Mall or its defenders; we just know how to do the math. You can comment on the nature of our strategies but until you can defeat them, that leaves you as the guy who can't handle a bunch of n00bs.
- And by the way? 1,000 is not a plan. It's a casualty estimate.

- Well met. That was a truly great "speech" (for lack of a better word). I still can't wait to see who you hit next. And then who you hit after that, and so-on and so-forth. If you guys do decide to annihilate Dowdney, I'll be the PKer laughing at all the running survivors, that, or I'll be killing them.:). Ah hell, who am I kidding. I'll be at any good siege. It's much too fun to PK sometimes, don't you think? Well, later.-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 09:21, 14 July 2007 (BST)

Trash Talk
As an interested spectator of the LUE phenomenon, I'd like to take a moment to point out a couple of things to anyone who has come to this page to talk smack. Take a good look around you. You'll see that a certain pattern has emerged:
- Survivor comes on the talk page and goes, "LUE, you're big and bad but you won't destroy OUR mall!"
- LUE destroys the mall in question in record time, then lays waste to the rest of the suburb.
- Survivor eats crow.
This has happened every single time thusfar. In real life big talkers have a way of being the first to fold when the pressure's on. It seems to work the same way in this game. Bear that in mind before you start ranting.--Jiangyingzi 23:45, 14 July 2007 (BST)
- I would calss your above statement as a) Trash Talk and b) a rant. In that sense, you wonder why people want to make you 'eat crow'? Everything you just complained about, you displayed yourself in microcosm. And as far as I'm aware if we're on the subject of big talkers, LUE we're such obnoxious, elitist bigmouths over on Gamefaqs that CJayC closed the forum to new members. To use the parlance you people on that site are so fond of - ZOMG!1! Self Pwnage!11 --Ulysses Black 02:35, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- I find that offensive. I used to be on the LUE board, and I wasn't a big-mouthed elitist. I was just a big-mouthed, cynical, and sarcastic prick.:). Aside, I still think that is unkind, and unfair.-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 02:39, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- Ulysses, we got quarantined off because of the actions of a group of idiots who most of us are happy to have gone. You won't find many LUEsers left who weren't disgusted by the actions of the morons who got us closed in the first place. Nowadays, we're just an ordinary social board, albeit one that knows itself better than a lot, who happen to be the subject of a lot of rumours from those who can't actually see us.--Panthera 02:55, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- My post was definitely a rant (albeit in a different context than my "start ranting" statement), but it was also fair warning. If you talk trash to any group in the game and wind up getting your butt kicked you get double the humiliation. Some people on this talk page have learned that the hard way. Anyway, Ulysses, I wasn't talking to you personally. By the sound of it you want LUE to head your way because it'd be a good challenge. That's respectable, so don't get offended by my post.--Jiangyingzi 07:24, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- Odysseus white "person" plz stop trolling in this talk. Also OMG! PANTHERA--SomeLUEser 07:34, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- Ulysses, I know your excuse is that you're just being an asshole "in character", but at this point that doesn't hold up, and more importantly you're not helping your cause by doing it. The Dribbling Beavers may be popular and able to garner a lot of support, but how much support do you think you'll be able to get if people keep seeing you trying to pick a fight with us with no provocation? We get it, you'd like the challenge of LUE to see if we live up to the reputation we're getting. That's fine. But verbally abusing us isn't helping you in any way whatsoever. Work on getting survivors to help shore up the mall's defenses. Don't worry about riling us up to add incentive for us to show up.--Insomniac By Choice
- Whoa, whoa, whoa! Guys, i'm not trying to troll or cause offense. Firstly i'm not picking a fight without provocation. Your horde is 10AP away. You've literally parked your tanks on our lawn and are a MAJOR potential threat to us right now, if you were the other side oof Malton I wouldn't have posted. Secondly, my apologies if LUE is different these days, as since the boards were locked I wouldn't know. I've only been going off the general perception of LUEsers and tailoring my attacks to that (which I didn't feel would cause offence, if you've been on the Gamefaqs message boards, this is really tame) But I accept the point of view and will immediately cease anything that could be construed to be trolling. That said though my first point does stand. Lue do trash talk then complain when people trash talk back. Don't talk big then complain about big talkers back. I'm only responding in kind. --Ulysses Black 14:21, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- And as Insomniac has realised, I'm not being obnoxious for no reason. I just thought if the stakes were raised and the battle somehow personalised, we could garner more support if LUE was characterised as some giant big bad wolf coming to devour our suburb, so that people would fight with some heart. All I was trying to do is in addition to the meta-gaming that goes on in the wiki, to attempt some 'meta-tactics', but it seems I've seriously misrepresented myself, so please give me the benefit of the doubt and don't think i'm genuinely an asshole. I'm sorry. I appreciate now though that it's unfair and disrespectful for me to act like this, so I have stopped. If anything though it's a mark of respect for how seriously I take the LUE threat. I was (and still am) considering using the anti-gamefaqs sentiment on Gamespot to go there and raise a similar temporary counter-horde to protect the mall. Now wouldn't THAT be something! ;)--Ulysses Black 14:26, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- Ulysses, I don't think Santlerville needs a "big bad wolf" or the raising of stakes in order to give LUE or any other horde a good game. Its really rather simple. Zombies show up near Santlerville, we'll fight them the best we can. Also, Ulysses, thank you for apologizing to them for getting them stirred up. I appreciate that, and your interest in helping defend Santlerville. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 15:49, 15 July 2007 (BST)

- Odysseus white "person" plz stop trolling in this talk. Also OMG! PANTHERA--SomeLUEser 07:34, 15 July 2007 (BST)
The 'general perception' of LUE you speak of, is caused by people who are locked out of the board but not locked out of shooting their mouths off. As mentioned, that was a long time ago and it was a very small portion of the board and they're all gone, now. The only reason CJayC doesn't reopen LUE to the public is that he cannot be sure the people he kicked out haven't sneaked back onto his site, and if they aggregated at LUE again they could cause trouble all over again. It's mainly his fear of lawsuits - you mention "LUE" and he hits the speed-dial button to his legal team.
And I'm sorry, but I do not see, and have not seen, LUE "trash talking." Here nor elsewhere. We make jokes, but the only people I've seen us rag on are, frankly, the guys who've insulted us or tell us we can't topple their mall or what-not.
"Bring it on you rotting pussies" does not offend me; I take it for exactly what it is - a little gamesmanship. It's funny, and it doesn't bother me at all.
Honestly, "LUE's approach is newbie" offends me a great deal more, because it's an assertion made from a total lack of understanding of subject matter. Kind of like "LUE are a bunch of elitist, obnoxious bigmouths" or "LUE talks a lot of trash" annoys me, because it's a supposition. It's out of the realm of the normal game (whereas the "rotting pussies" remark really isn't, to my way of thinking).
What you don't want, is to be the guy whose mouth got your mall annihilated. We've had at least one of those already. --Vito Mortis
Hey I resent that remark, I wasn't the one who got you all to come to Giddings sure I helped prevoke you all but you entered Fort Creedy which is part of Pitneybank and I took that as you were coming to Giddings which lets be real a mall full of surviors 4 ap away, you would of attacked it without me trash talking you as it would be a massive buffet for you guys so I did not kill Giddings. Just wanted to clear that up so you can drop that claim LUE. But still on the other note I would not recommend taughting them as they are a powerful group that lives up to there name of destroying malls and now I'm done with this discussion as I'm not getting dragged into this mess further.--Colonel Steels 20:27, 15 July 2007 (BST)
- The run-on sentences - they burn!
- seriously now, though ... don't expect us to do everything that's logical, like attacking a mall that's 4 (isn't it more like 6?) AP away. Not all the time, anyway. "Logical" means "predictable." We parked in the Herbert Building which is next door to Hildebrand Mall and then walked away the next day. The original plan was to scare Giddings and walk away, but all that "you really think you can take the second-best (emphasis added) Mall in the game???" stuff really sort of sealed the deal and made us come over there to prove what I said in response to begin with: "yes. yes we do."
- And so, yes, yes we did. I mean, you can resent the remark all you want, but, had you not talked us into it you'd probably be sitting in the Food Court right now, sucking a latte, not brain-rotted (lol?) outside (or ... where ... ever you are now.)

- I think it was just a misunderstanding. The rotting pussies remark was obviously gamesmanship and meant to be taken in good humour. I took it a bit too far (admittedly) and have apologised for, but it spiraled after that from both sides and has hopefully stopped. The LUE misconception though (in the GF board sense) is widespread that you are a bunch of leets, but I now stand corrected. In terms of what Colonel Steels said though, I was coming from that angle. 10AP is threateningly close.--Ulysses Black 22:52, 15 July 2007 (BST)

For future reference its best to know. If someone says something big and outlandish and then claims to be from LUE they probably aren't. The Gore Corps
According to the exceedingly paranoid and overly excitable Ulysses Black, the Gore Corps are in Heytown/Santlerville in advance of the LUE and have already entered into an alliance with you. I didn't even consider it until he mentioned it, but I think it's a worthy idea. What say you, LUE? Would you care if we lent a hand when you do eventually storm Santlerville? Not that you need it, of course, but it would help keep the harmanz busy while you tear into their mall...and it would be good for the lolz. --Goolina Gore Corps 11:13, 16 July 2007 (BST)
- God, I love all this "Ulysses is paranoid" and "Ulysses is over-excited" rubbish. Fact. LUE were coming to Santlerville. FACT. Gore Corp were going to assist. Both your smoke and mirrors act really doesn't fool anybody, especially Goolina as you've ALREADY aided a few LUE strikes, it even says so on this very talk page! So if you hadn't even thought of the possibility of an alliance after you've already been in one with LUE before, you're suffering a serious lack of imagination or the early onset of Alzheimers...--Ulysses Black 14:55, 16 July 2007 (BST)
- FACT: There was no alliance between LUE and Gore Corps to hit Dowdney when you flipped out. Stop being so damned paranoid.--Kali Magdalene 21:38, 16 July 2007 (BST)
- FACT. Half my team was off running with AU10 or Group 0 when we first came to Santlerville. FACT. I told Sexy Rexy and the Five Critics that we were just hunting the Five Critics because 1) we were bored after the Battle of Santlerville and wanted a challenge and 2) they're the worthiest opponents I could think of (no offense to the NMC) at the time. FACT. I don't have access to LUE boards, so I don't know where they're going to hit until the day they hit. Hard to advance plan, don't you think? Now I don't mind your thinking that we're going to lend a hand when/if they hit Santlerville - because we are now (thanks for the advice btw!) - but please stop patting yourself on the back for uncovering a plot that wasn't there in the first place. --Goolina Gore Corps 21:31, 16 July 2007 (BST)
- The most amusing part is I could tell him quite definitely that Gore Corps are not there for the purposes of helping LUE do anything and he probably wouldn't believe me. As for advance parties, ok, since Gore Corps have helped LUE in the past that must mean they are working with them now, what about GMT-BC or AU10, both of those groups have helped in the past, why aren't they advance parties? Better yet, if LUE is coming because of your comments on their page and such and Gore Corps have been in Santlerville since before you made those comments that must mean RRF has created super psychic zombah-human death cultists, Oh god, that must mean that the RRF is going to launch missles first, but if that's the case why was a monkey sent into space, ZOMBIES MONKEYS ARE ON THE MOON! OH SHI-!--karek 15:30, 16 July 2007 (BST)

I'm pretty sure 200 members of LUE was spotted in East Greyside and in New Arkham yesterday. All in all, I'll be disappointed if the pot was stirred but never served. (If it turns out the pot was stirred by survivors, I'll be mondo pissed.) However, I have other plans for the folks rolling into the area, in case you guys decide not to visit. You'll see a new wiki page with an updated status courtesy of LUE later in the day, don't worry. Also, XD @ Ulysses on your forums, he sure does love the look of his own typing. - Brona 20:36, 16 July 2007 (BST)
- Yeah, apparently, we're at the walls of Caiger, and I think we also attacked Tompson Mall last night. Just remember: No matter where you go, there you are. Anyway, you probably heard the real Betty last night, but if she didn't say something like "you're all about to die," then, she wasn't announcing an attack. She's into bantering when nobody's dying, but she's not nearly as ho-ho-hilarious when people are about to get et.

- With all due respect, a strong horde like LUE has no need for misdirection. Survivors usually do enough misdirecting on their own. Four words: Outdoor shirtless volleyball tournament. We'll have fun, AND get a tan! --Sexy Rexy Grossman 19:02, 16 July 2007 (BST)
- XD. Oh how little you know Betty. - Brona 18:19, 16 July 2007 (BST)

- Ah! Betty says things when you're not attacking! Well, that's the final piece of the puzzle. I'll make sure I hold a copy of the new Harry Potter book for you, Vito. Sorry, the rest of LUE will have to wait for the next shipment. And thank you for the clarification. Now I want you guys to attack EVEN MORE than before! --Sexy Rexy Grossman 02:05, 17 July 2007 (BST)
Heh, I like the new title of this section. Nice to see you have a sense of humor. Anyway, all I have to say is: "Y halo thar Mitchem Mall." - Brona 02:34, 17 July 2007 (BST)
- Poor Ulysses. All that shouting and arm-flailing for nothing. --Goolina Gore Corps 05:25, 17 July 2007 (BST)
- Man this is dull. I was hoping to retire from UD with a big siege as i'm on character 10 or so now and out of things to do. As much as i'm sure you'll not cry any tears, but i'll probably just let my character lapse now. I'm only saying so you know if the mall does get attacked in an month or so and falls and everyone's like OMFG PWNED!!! Where's Ulysses? ROFL!!! to gloat like they did with Major Striker, I won't be hanging my head, i'll just likely have stopped playing and checking the wiki well before then.--Ulysses Black 05:54, 17 July 2007 (BST)
It's obvious LUE wants to let you guys sweat a little. Ratcheting up the tension now will make the eventual confrontation more fun. Hell, when it finally does go down we'll need Michael Buffer to do the intros. Nothing wrong with a little more buildup time...savor it!--Jiangyingzi 06:46, 17 July 2007 (BST)
- Hopefully it'll be great. I think it's been delayed because LUE have something really special planned, like the total destruction and ransack of the entire suburb. As long as it's not a let down, I don't care who wins. I just want whatever happens to end up on the history page, then I can retire in peace. Death or glory? Preferably both! --Ulysses Black 07:34, 17 July 2007 (BST)
Ulysses Black can eat shit
'Nuff said. Don't stir the fucking beehive, I've been in enough LUE mall sieges and I don't want to get evicted from Downdney just because some asshat has a loud mouth. --Raja Ram 18:54, 18 July 2007 (BST)
- He is allowed to say what he wants, to an extent. And keep the GD personal attacks to yourself. This wiki isn't the place for that. If you get off on the childish 9 year old school yard bull shit, then fine. Do it on some forum. We don't need this stuff on a wiki meant for informational purposes. It's not needed, and it doesn't do anything for the wiki, other than start shit.-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 21:19, 18 July 2007 (BST)
- Hahah, so he's a roleplayer? That explains it. I thought he was just an asshat. I can forgive him now. --Raja Ram 03:56, 19 July 2007 (BST)
- No. Roleplaying would be giving him too much credit. I don't think he could have come up with such a personality. I believe that's just him, plain and simple. He's not the sharpest fork in the drawer, in fact, he's a spoon. --Sonny Corleone RRF CoL DORIS CRF pr0n 14:26, 19 July 2007 (BST)
- (deep breath) It's just a game... Thanks Angel, but to be honest the fervour and seriousness people seem to take this has really put me off UD. I've been bored with it for a while, so started a new character and thought i'd get involved in the wiki to see another side of it, but some people take it way too seriously and personally, so I won't be returning or posting or playing again. Keep your 3 colour block of text mall Raja, i'm happier putting my emphasis and emotions on real and important things.--Ulysses Black 22:36, 19 July 2007 (BST)
- And to Sonny, being obnoxious anonymously is not a substitute for humour. You should understand the distinction someday.--Ulysses Black 22:37, 19 July 2007 (BST)
- Ulysses, do you have some deep-seated homoerotic fascination with LUE and/or Sonny? You seem to keep begging for their attention. It helps sometimes to play hard to get, you know. What you're doing is playing hard to want. --Goolina Gore Corps 04:54, 20 July 2007 (BST)
