Description
The Acott Arms is a pub located at the northern edge of West Becktown. According to the Malton good beer guide, this joint sucks arse.
Bar Tour Stop | |
This location is an official stop on the Scenic Malton Bar Tour. |
"The cracked tile exterior with its heavily barred windows may not be uncommon in Malton in this day and age, but one gets the distinct impression that the pub has looked like this since long before the outbreak. Inside the bar is dingy and smells of urine, and the few patrons have a distinctly shady look. Indeed, little has changed other than the tap beer running out, leaving only alco-pops to drink. The author gets the impression that even the Dead are reluctant to drink here - Rating 1/5" - The Malton Good Beer Guide

History
Tonight, we plan to hold a brief candlelight vigil for the victims of last night's Bull Riding Machine accident. Harpomarxist assures us that if we tape together those poor orphans, they can still be revived. After the vigil RELCAC members should stick around to help clean up; that blood won't mop itself. --Cvk 15:15, 17 September 2007 (BST)
Several members of RELCAC have returned to the Acott to aid with the rebuilding of West Becktown. Head engineer Harpomarxist assures us that the Bull Riding Machine will be functional "any day now". --Cvk 21:44, 16 September 2007 (BST)
The Historic Acott-Waugh Arms Accord, what many considered a reasonable and hopeful end to the bloody conflict between RELCAC and 5punk, faltered yesterday when the unpopularly-elected RELCAC President Rutherford B Hayes was gunned down in an unprovoked attack by randomgazz. Like many men of peace Rutherford was killed by a small minded ruffian who made up in bullets what he lacked in compassion.
Rutherford had gone to Waugh he claimed, "To live among them and learn their culture." Unfortunately, theirs was a culture of death. Rutherford's whereabouts is unknown, but it is common knowledge that without their peace-loving, non-elected leader, RELCAC will soon erupt into creative violence.--UN Observer 13:24, 26 July 2007 (BST)
It appears that the patrons of Acott and Waugh Arms have engaged in a series of bloody exchanges. The dispute seems to have risen from a graffiti incident and exploded to the point where Acott patrons actually located the mother of one Waugh patron and slaughtered her before her son's eyes, shortly before doing the same to him. One imagines the Annual Pub League Softball game between these two bars is going to end, like most things in Malton, in blood. --Harpomarxist 12:43 20 July 2007 (EST)
Scratch that last note re: bull ride machine. --Harpomarxist 15:55 13 July 2007 (EST)
Acott arms now has a functional bull ride machine! --Harpomarxist 15:49, 13 July 2007 (EST)
The Acott Arms is currently home to those RELCAC members that have survived the relocation and long march. We're working on sprucing the place up a bit. --Cvk 21:14, 28 June 2007 (BST)
