Cyberbob vs Ashley Valentine
Has been persistently posting her tripe on the CGR talk page. I warned her the next time would result in a trip here, but she went ahead with it anyway. So here we are. I would like her banned from posting on the CGR's talk page. --Cyberbob DORIS CGR U! 05:11, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- I can arbitrate this one if you want.--'BPTmz 05:17, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sure. --Cyberbob DORIS CGR U! 05:51, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- I guess I'm fine with that too. Oh, and just for the record, I'm male. It seems the American's adopted the female way to spell Ashley.----Ash | T | яя | 12:57, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- PROTIP: I'm Australian, and know a girl by the name of Ashley. I'm sorry for getting it wrong, but there's no need to get all antsy. --Cyberbob DORIS CGR U! 14:15, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Get all antsy! It's a huge deal. Take him to... er... Arbitration. --Karloth Vois RR 14:35, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

- If you aren't part of the case, or offering to arbitrate, GTFO. --Cyberbob DORIS CGR U! 14:56, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oh come on Cyber, please calm down. We're at arbitration to sort things out, not to get even more Angry. Wait, isn't that the reason why these arguments started, you got angry at people talking? ----Ash | T | яя | 15:24, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- No... these arguments started because you went fishing for some hot gossip. We're here because you ignored my demands to stop. --Cyberbob DORIS CGR U! 15:25, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- As I already stated cyberbob, I wouldn't waste the time 'fishing' for some 'hot gossip' on a game. Seriously, I dont know why you didn't see that. I simply noted that you must've flawed the treaty by attacking Creedy. Ontop of that, I'd like to add, if you were to read my changes instead of just being one big-bloated dictator to the group page, you may've noticed that somebody actually answered my question, and I posted a friendly reply (as I was doing all along).

- If you'd only realized that from the beginning, instead of crawling up into some fetus-like defensive state, then this all would've been over quickly, and their would've been no need for Arbitration.
- So, on that note, I'm willing to let this case drop as long as you agree to it too. It's new years for chr- wait there, thats blasphmy, for *insert generic name here*'s sake. I'm sure we all have better things to do than sit around and argue over something as clumsy as a UD Wikipedia chat log, right? ----Ash | T | яя | 15:31, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

- Fair enough, your ignorance got you into this. If your that big of a saddact you have nothing else to do on New Years Day, considering your an Australian, then I have a lot of pity for you. Your wasting so much time to get me banned from a page it's amusing. I know you have the right to delete my comments from a page, considering your a group member, but it's not correct the way you went about it.
- If you'd only of said things a tad bit nicer, like other users were saying, then all this would've been avoided. Why are you so offensive Cyberbob? Do you have issues, by chance? You know perfectly well that this will result in me getting a ban from the CGR page. It's humerus how much you'll stick with it though to get such little profit from it. You should've just responded in a nicer way, possibly let other users sorted things out.
- TheKnockoff gave a perfectly fine answer, and the issue was solved. Yet you were still as ignorantly persistent to carry on the case to Arbitration.
- So, as you wish, we'll let the Arbitration continue. I do pity you though, quite a bit actually.
- Also, as a means to avoid further argument, I suggest we stop posting replies from here as it is meant for arbitration purposes which should, hopefully, satisfy your lust to remove me from a single page. I hope your result fills you with glee. ----Ash | T | яя | 15:48, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

- It's also interesting to note that an Arbitrator refuses to talk peacefully to other users, well, whatever. Post too long, dont read as much as you like, I'm not going to reply until the Arbitrator get's back and reads the comments. Also, happy new year for whats left of it :) ----Ash | T | яя | 15:58, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

- Well, regardless, I'll state my version of the chain of events, since I'm going out to a party soon.
- I was asking CGR about the treaty of Creedy and got a few friendly responses when Cyberbob told me to 'Stop Fishing'. I responded that I'm not digging for information and that I'm out of character on the wiki. He told me again to stop fishing so I simply said that I wouldn't do something like that, it's low and is, in all honesty, too much effort. If I did want to cause commotion then why waste my time with the group I'd like to have a effect on? I would've gone straight to the CDF and took it up with them instead.
- He then proceeded to tell me to stop posting in there, even after 'Omega' had been offensive and he'd been quite rude, once again in my opinion, too. I responded to him and was then talking to another user when he deleted my comments posted after his, so called, 'warning'. I'd reposted them again and was answered, kindly, by another user from CGR. In my opinion the case was closed. I'd gotten my answer and it was obvious that due to Cyberbob's ignorance that I couldn't have any sorta conversation with CGR. But, fair enough. Somebody answered my question and I was happy with it.
- This obviously wasn't enough for cyberbob, and he took the case to Arbitration.
- If you read my above comments then you will notice that I've stated that the case is pointless for such little profit. I have no intentions of posting on CGR's page again nor do I, quite frankly, want to after the blatant idiocy shown by cyberbob there. Yet he responded with the, and I quote, 'tl;dr' (Too long, dont/didn't read). I don't believe that he should respond like that, nor in any of his previous comments, especially considering he's meant to be a representative of the Wiki because of his status as a Sysop. ----Ash | T | яя | 16:49, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not a sysop. Hurr. Even if I was there would be nothing wrong with that. --Cyberbob DORIS CGR U! 16:47, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- He used to be a sysops, isn't any more. Also if BP doesn't get to this soon I also offer my services as an arbitrator, I'll make sure to get to it fast too cause I'm just tired of not reading the long posts and bickering. Give me something to do while I wait for the other case to actually start.--Karekmaps?! 16:56, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I'd be more than happy to have this case over and done with ASAP. It's new years eve (for most places) and I'm sure we all have better things to do. Oh, and since Anime offered his services, I think it'd be best to give him the option to take on the case first or not. ----Ash | T | яя | 16:58, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

The Ruling
Each arbitrator has their own methods and there are no standards. You've both had far more than your say as far as this is concerned so if either of you wants to complain about this decision do so on my talk page.
Read this, read this carefully, read it well. Ashley, you pushed the line, a lot. You were basically accusing the group of being disloyal to their word, and kept trying to get them to say something along the lines of "We don't give a shit about x treaty". That's fishing, that's digging. Cyberbob, In the future it may be best to let the page owner deal with it instead of removing it yourself, I know you're a group member but it's just safer and less drama-full if the group leadership is the one telling people not to post on the page, as far as I can tell that's not you.
Now, how it's gonna be is every comment of Ashley's is going to be removed from the page, every comment. Ashley, do not post there(the CGR talk page) for two weeks, if you really need to talk to the group for some reason talk to the members themselves but stay away from Cyberbob's talk for the two weeks unless he approaches you first. I don't like having to rule like that but it seems to be the only way to solve anything, as for vandal escalations pertaining to this case I ask all Sysops who do make a ruling based on this ruling, if it does happen, start off with the Warnings, not the standard x time ban.--Karekmaps?! 17:24, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
