jjames Vs. Various
Can we just clear all these. If it's not against the rules, then I don't see the point of arbitration. I reall thought these would be archived by now.Jjames 06:06, 9 October 2006 (BST)
- Calls me Scinfaxi directly. A clear bad faith effort. [1]—The preceding unsigned comment was added by jjames (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.

I have read all this cases, and, as a moderator, i believe these are not meant to be here. Actually, all of them should be in Vandal Banning, to simply earn a warning since there is no edit conflict here, and they clearly acted in bad faith. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 10:51, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- It might be useful at this point if someone used CheckUser to prove once and for all the Jjames is, in fact, not Scinfaxi. Elsewise I don't see how this could be eligible for Vandal Banning. It's not like people taunting others is anything new here. -- Alan Watson Talk · MalTel 11:06, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- I have a new computer now, so we should in fact have different IP addresses. I haven't had to use his computer in months. Besides, it should be enough that they can't prove I am scinfaxi, and hence are making a bad faith post by saying I am as if it were a fact.Jjames 16:19, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- Hm....last time I checked, IP addresses are based on your Internet Server and location, not your computer. --Axe Hack 16:52, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- We have our computers locked into different ports. So our IP addresses should be similar, but not the same. That's why I only look up hardcore porn on jjames's computer, so they bust him for buying "novelty" items and not me. Scinfaxi 08:02, 25 September 2006 (BST)
- Well last time I checked, I don't have to prove anything. It is a clear precedent that an unproven accusation is bad faith when stated as fact. Especially when claiming people are alts, as it carries consequences if it were true. You knowingly violated the rule to jump on the bandwagon and now you have to pay the price.Jjames 17:05, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- Its their opinion that you are an alt. And unless you want to argue that them calling you a name is a statement of fact (rather than an exaggerated comedic opinion) you can't really get them banned for it. The best you'll get is that you will be forced to avoid eachother, which means all your drama will go *poof*. --Karlsbad 18:50, 24 September 2006 (BST)
While it is their right to think whatever they think about jjames being scinfaxi, this doesn't give them the right to spam Jjames's talk page about this. There is no "good faith" here, this isn't improving a thing in the wiki, they are trying to talk to Jjames, they had nothing to say to him, they just wanted to have fun at his cost. This IS Vandalism, not arbitration. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 19:29, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- Adding things that don't improve the wiki is not by definition "bad faith" (how many absolutely useless templates do we have now?), nor is even ridicule when not under the impetus(sp?) of an arbitration ruling. If you remember the whole Amazing shebang, having fun at another persons expense is not a crime on this wiki. --Karlsbad 22:28, 24 September 2006 (BST)
5 arbitration cases at once? This is turning into Jjamesgate. Oh, I am sorry. Jjamesfaxigate.--Gage 20:25, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- Gage - you are on notice. There is no place for this on the Arbitration page, do not do it again. There may or may not be a place for it elsewhere on the wiki. --Darth Sensitive W! 20:37, 24 September 2006 (BST)
- You are right, that was uncalled for.--Gage 21:15, 24 September 2006 (BST)

- Did I just not admit my error?--Gage 02:10, 25 September 2006 (BST)
- This whole arby case is bullshit and ridiculous by someone who can't tolerate minor taunting. If he really wasn't Mr Faxi then he'd have little problem with it, am I right? If someone called me CaptainMazing I wouldn't be offended. --CaptainM 03:27, 25 September 2006 (BST)
- You seem to be lying to me. You have seen me take major taunting without bringing a case. I bring a case when someone bring an accusation against me that if true would result in a banning. It is not the same as calling me a stupid racist.Jjames 03:34, 25 September 2006 (BST)
- I'm sorry Scinfaxi, I didn't realize it was your stupid racist credibility at stake, and not your meager stupid racist self-esteem. --CaptainM 04:01, 25 September 2006 (BST)
- Captain M - you too are on notice. The arbitration page is NOT the place to continue the baiting and flaming that takes place elsewhere on the wiki. This is a mediation zone, and attempts to stir trouble here are by default bad faith and therefore vandalism. Remain civil and focused on the case at hand. --Darth Sensitive W! 05:01, 25 September 2006 (BST)
