Wouldn't it just be easier to use {{BarricadePlan}} ? –Xoid S•T•FU! 07:49, 16 June 2006 (BST)
Josephine General Hospital
Nice work on the hospital, but I hope you do realise you don't have to put the coordinates in the navigation block for all the buildings? Also, if you haven't already done so, you might wanna have a look at the Location Style Guide. --Nov W!, M, T 02:11, 21 June 2006 (BST)
- Do as much as you want, but you might want to take note of the 11 categories in Speedy Deletions and to make sure your pages don't fall into any of those categories. It sucks when you have spent ages working on a page to find that it has been speedy deleted. Also, try to group as much of the locations together (e.g. Yagoton Cinemas) at this point in time so that they aren't too short - articles that are too short can be placed for deletion as well. You might also want to ensure that the coordinates, e.g. 11,76 for Josephine General Hospital, are redirected to the proper page as well. At the end of the day, just have fun maintaining whichever section of the location pages. --Nov W!, M, T 09:18, 21 June 2006 (BST)
Re: Locationblock/Suburbblock Links
- "a cemetery" is "a cemetary"
- "a factory" is "a factory"
…
- "the Wanker Building" is "the Wanker Building"
Etc. unless there is an exception specifically listed in the Location Style Guide, then it is to be written the way it is displayed in game. See how I have redone Barrville for an example. (At least, I think it's correct now, I may have missed something.) –Xoid S•T•FU! 07:50, 27 June 2006 (BST)
Re: Insertion exploit doesn't seem to work from default namespace
It does.

Josephine's Generals are currently recruiting surviors of every class. So, you finally ran out of canned food and needed supplies, huh? Heading towards the lights of a hospital in a backwater part of town, you found a group making a safehaven for new arrivals to Malton. Their goals? To provide a safehouse, a revive point, a hospital, and a couple of words of advice to new people in Malton. They also have a taste for dealing out headshots to visiting zombies. They're also investigating how new people are here at all, but that has taken a backseat with more and more people just appearing all over Malton. Join the Josephine's Generals today! |

I know that you haven't seen a lot of my work on the wiki, but since you have seen some of it, and seem to have liked it, I thought I would let you know that I'm currently running for moderator. If you feel like weighing in over there, I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts. If not, that's fine too. Thanks. –Bob Hammero Mod•B'crat•T•A 21:09, 29 June 2006 (BST)
- The vouching thing seems like a high drama area out of which I've been trying to keep my nose and arse. As I do like all your edits I've reviewed so far I'll stick my neck out. Enjoy. --Max Grivas JG,T,P! 21:26, 29 June 2006 (BST)
- I very much appreciate it. Things can get a little tense in situations like that, but it seems like it's going well for me so far. We'll see what happens. Thanks again. –Bob Hammero Mod•B'crat•T•A 21:36, 29 June 2006 (BST)
- Just a thought: while things can get unpleasant in vouching and voting areas, they're actually one of the most important parts of the wiki. Don't be scared off by some of the trouble that can occur. The other good thing is that participating on those pages tends to get you better known and recognized by the mods and influential wiki users, which can be helpful. –Bob Hammero Mod•B'crat•T•A 06:05, 30 June 2006 (BST)
Thanks
Thanks for the ideas.--Labine50 MHG|MalTel 19:37, 2 July 2006 (BST)
Excuse me?
Can you tell me why do I need to stop helping on the suggestion's page? Though some of my choices may seem overly strict, i act in good faith and willing to improve the wiki. Do you think Tofu is a valid vote? --Matthew Fahrenheit Talk 18:00, 3 July 2006 (BST)
- I'll continue with my work, thanks for the concern. If you think my actions can be deemed as vandalism, feel free to report them on the vandal banning page, but until then, any further attempt to make "friendly" threats will be ignored, thank you. --Matthew Fahrenheit Talk 23:05, 3 July 2006 (BST)
- I was using the word "work" as Something that has been produced or accomplished through the effort, activity, or agency of a person or thing (look at the dictionary). Now i understand that my actions will be mispercepted, as you did, in order to generate drama. I don't want that, so farewell, try to evade my talk page from now on unless you want to be the one warned from the vandal page. --Matthew Fahrenheit Talk 01:10, 4 July 2006 (BST)
