Yellow Fever: UD's Elite Asian Strike Force (╯‵□′)╯╧╧ ASIAN FURY~!!
Yellow Fever is a group aimed at helping to bring survivor presence back to ghost towns. The group move from suburbs to suburbs to "repopulate" them. Since the group is small, it is not prepared to deal with a fully-infected area, so it chooses empty suburbs as its targets. The group members will do the following over and over again in new locations:
- move into TRZs
- clear out TRPs
- install generators
- repair building damages
- rebuild barricades
- provide revives
- move on
We will respect any local groups, and will combine our efforts with theirs.
We will set up a radio frequency at an later date to help provide other survivors with information if they choose to help. This information will be left in the recent news section.
Note: We do not use tools such as DEMON Tools and auto-scout plug-ins to aid us in-game. We believe in fair gaming for everyone.
017631 supports and uses Google Chrome, playing the game it was meant to be played with an ultra fast internet browser : D
Our original group members are mainly of Oriental ethnicity, hence the group name.
- Note: Yellow Fever is also the name of an epidemic that is currently taking all the Asian Women from the Asian Men and making the Women marry the White Man. No, we do not hate interracial relationships..we just wish there were some Asian Women left who would go with an Asian Guy D:
History
Our tale begins with the fertilization of the egg inside the womb of three certain Asian women. However, let's fast-forward a bit to the good parts shall we?
Yellow Fever: The Myth, The Legend, The Ongoing Story
Our tale begins in Malton; a once peaceful and diverse city that was home to many people of various ethnicities and cultures. However something about being a banana, a second or third generation Asian who is quintessentially "white" on the inside and "Yellow" on the outside (like a Banana), makes one attempt to befriend fellow bananas and Asians. This is how our story begins; the befriending of Chucked, Douchette, and 017631. The trio met in highschool, as Chucked was getting over his drinking problem, Douchette was still a tadpole, and as 017631 was struggling to make a dime from his nightly gig at a local pub. Although they were all living in Canada at the time, as time wore on the trio eventually slowly but surely made its way to Malton in fragments. Each was born into a typical asian family, although Douchette was the only one born in Asia. It is rumored that Chuc<brked and 017631 made numerous attempts to deport Douchette back to Tawain, that communist.
Although the three somehow met again in West Grayside, Yellow Fever was not yet created as 017631 left to pursue his interests in other Survivor Groups that began to emerge from the ashes of the city. The three actually all followed each other for a little while , joining the Tenants of Veysey, until Douchette joined the MCDU and 017631 left for the Elson Phone Mast Building Caretakers and Axes High. As far as we know, Chucked basically sat around and drank everyday, presumably getting over the fact that he would never get to pay his overdue library fines and would never be able to cyber again... The three would all go through their own various survivor groups (except Chucked, that lazy ass) until eventually they met up again in West Grayside, the suburb in which it all began. The nostalgia that was emitted from their meeting encouraged the three to start their own survivor group, to free themselves from various boundaries that they previously faced in their former groups. Thus, Yellow Fever was born. Named after the epidemic that is causing Asian Women to marry White men, this group will strive to aid the survivor effort in this hellhole known as Malton. Just as they will attempt to ponder on the meaning of life, debate about everyday troubles, relax, and perhaps get laid?

Policies
Our group dislikes PKers, Gkers, RKers, Griefer, Zergers, Zombie Spies, Death Cultists, Revive-queue-clogging-rotters and out right N00BS. And whiners. We actively use tools like Rogues Gallery to protect ourselves. We will not actively pursue you, but if you tick us off, you will be KOS. However, we do not use tools such as DEMON to benefit us in-game. We believe that the game was meant to be played as it is, however we do oftentimes use Rogues Gallery for the protection of everyone.

Although we support the Uniform Barricading Policy, we may not necessary follow it during our initial setup period. We will tag surrounding areas providing information entry information to other survivors. No survivor without Free Running should be in ghost towns anyways. If you happen to be locked out more than once, or wish to debate this issue, contact us. Use the heading Concerns.
Sometimes the rules have to be broken in order to progress our effort in a certain area, thus at times we will have to break a barricading policy for a given area. Please forgive us in advance; we only mean to do it for the benefit of the suburb.

Recruitment
We are only looking for players truly dedicated to the survivor effort. You also need be active, since we will be moving quite a bit. You Should have at least 15 human skills, and lurching gait and ankle grab skills are highly recommended. Our core members all know each other in real life, so communication is no problem for us. So if you wish to join, you might be left out on a lot of the discussion. It is imperative that you know the basics of the game and have some sort of method to discuss tactics with us in real time in order to fully enjoy the Yellow experience.
If you are willing to join, and think you are good enough, contact us or leave us a message on our new forum~. Use the heading Applications. Leave your character's ID as well as the hours you play in EST or UTC format. Also post any former groups you have been affiliated with or past experience in the game. Upon applying, you will be contacted (so don't forget to leave your contact info if you do not use the same email/wiki account) and screened for past behavior. We will check you against Rogues Gallery and Zergers Gallery.
Everyone has lives and we are sorry if we cannot read your application right away, please allow for a few days in order for us to determine a primary decision. We will try to respond to applications as fast as possible~
