Cannonball Strike Force

The Cannonball Strike Force (CSF) is a mobile combat unit dedicated to protecting Malton from the undead. The group specializes in coordination and real-time assaults to deny zombies any ill-gotten meals. Its unofficial headquarters is Strange Bank in Barrville, but members are more likely to be found battling zombies throughout the city. As a nomadic force, CSF enjoys a variety of missions involving all aspects of the game. Being part of the Strike Force means fighting alongside a group of experienced and knowledgeable players who have your back

Whether you are new to Urban Dead or a veteran zombie hunter, looking for fun or looking for a more meaningful Urban Dead experience; CSF has something for all, the only pre-requisite is being pro-survivor and agreeing with our policies: We are against Multi abuse, Zerging, Combat Reviving (CRing), Generator Killing (GKing), Player Killing (PKing), and random reviving.

We are always actively recruiting, if you are interested, register on our forums and post in the New Recruits section.

If you are part of a organization already, we are interested in establishing diplomatic relations with any pro-survivor organization. Just register on our forums and post in the Diplomatic Enclaves section.

NEWS

August 22 2011

The Cannonball Strike Force is formed as the remnants of The Fort_Perryn_Defense_Force and the Cannonball_Crew merge together into one, unified unit.

HOW TO JOIN

If you'd like to become a member of the Crew, register and be active on our forum, participate in missions, and you'll be on your way to becoming a hardened soldier and veteran zombie slayer.

GROUP HISTORY

In July of 2005 a group of soldiers (Tony Blair, Freedom and Kyouto), each of whom had special recon training (Free Running), worked together to defend Eastonwood's Felix General Hospital. Although barricades did not exist at the time and the group was vastly outnumbered, they were able to defend their safehouse by employing regular patrols and hit & run raids. Tony Blair began to refer to the trio as the "Cannonball Crew," because they struck fast and hard like a cannonball and were more mobile than their larger counterparts. The Cannonball Crew formed alongside the original Council of Leaders (CoL) and became the CoL's military wing, as well as, the first strike team in the city.

Its veteran members have been playing Urban Dead almost since day one. They've experienced every game update and witnessed firsthand its growth and evolution into the grand experience that it is today. The group has weathered many storms and fought in numerous epic battles including the First and Second Siege of Caiger Mall, The Battle of Pitneybank and the annual 5th of November and Mall Tours. Many survivor and zombie groups have come and gone, but the Cannonball Crew has endured because of its devoted members and the camaraderie they've built. Long live the Crew.

COMMAND STRUCTURE

The Cannonball Strike Force employs a military-style rank system (see Ranks & Insignia) and members rise through the group based on their participation and performance. New members start as Loose Cannons (LC). Active and dedicated Loose Cannons then advance to become Loose Cannons Soldiers (LC Soldiers). Loose Cannons Soldiers who distinguish themselves are then eligible to become full-fledged Cannonball Crew members. Cannonball Strike Force members that exhibit leadership skills are then eligible for a position in the Command Staff.

SQUADS

NEW MEMBERS

Loose Cannons - our squad of new recruits and serves as the training ground for new players and the proving ground for veteran players new to the group.

ADVANCED SQUADS

Able Squad, is inactive

Baker Squad, is perhaps the oldest fighting squad in Malton

Rogue Squad, is a heavy assault squad.

Raven Squad, is a heavy assault squad.

Fox Squad does not exist. No really. Are you still reading this? no fox squad. move along.

HISTORIC SQUADS

Ghost Bears was a squad of brash, young soldiers originally led by Sergeant Tyler Jorgensson.

Pimp Legion of Doom (PLD) was an elite fighting force with attitude originally led by Sergeant First Class Sacrenough. Retired in August 2008.

Fort Perryn Defense Force (FPDF), was last led by Captain piccon009. It was our garrison tasked with protecting Fort Perryn and the surrounding area. We still return to Perryn to defend it at times, we just no longer have a full time garrison there.

Team Xtreme, was led by First Lieutenant Josh Clark. It was a group of professional bounty hunters that specialize in teamwork and coordinated strikes.

POLICIES

The Cannonball Strike Force does not practice or support Multi abuse, Zerging, Combat Reviving (CRing), Generator Killing (GKing), or Player Killing (PKing). We do practice Bounty Hunting as revenge on a PKer that kills one of our own. We've also been known to practice Zombie Killing (ZKing) because the urge to kill zombies doesn't leave us even when we're dead.
