LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY
Post under a new heading with your name as the title.

This is to debate/discuss what the safest place in Malton is (most high level survivors/fastest revives/least zombies). Personally, say its Yagoton because of the YRC and the Abandoned.
edit: I saw NO zombies (besides myself) while I was en route to the YRC.

Impossible question. You cite a suburb you feel is safe, but do you mean in the long term?
To have a "Safe area" I always feel it has to be surrounded by "Safe Areas", there are several places I'd argue are relatively safe, but with the MOB just around the corner you can never be sure.
I mean even Yagoton is bordering a zombie infested ghost town at the moment. :) --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:29, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

- Shuttlebank is pretty clear. lots of barricades though.--Fordpr3fect 17:13, 9 June 2010 (BST)

Lukinswood. The last time it was Very Dangerous was March. --RahrahCome join the #party!18:34, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Lukinswood's Coram Building is a zombie magnet with the Emergency Broadcast system, and there's been overspill from Ackland Mall sieges too. The Southwest corner has been consistently green-tinged for months, IIRC: Foulkes Village for example. My harmless zombie professor, on a tour of Malton's architectural wonders, is constantly being swatted down outside by bored-witless trenchies.--Mallrat 03:02, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Lukinswood probably hasn't been dangerous since March just from a lack of people who care enough to update the suburb's danger level or suburb page. --Papa Johnny 16:07, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hey now, Lukinswood does have survivor presence. It may not be a huge presence but its there. And yes we update the suburb page all the time. Don't believe me? Check the archives. Now I'm not claiming that Lukinswood is the safest suburb but at least give some credit where credit is due. --Vapor 18:01, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

On a constant basis, there is no real "safest place in Malton." There's always some variety of dangers to every area and zombies can visit any suburb whenever they please and pkers tend to stray towards green suburbs. The more important piece of it is "Which areas have the shortest recovery time?" Good examples of suburbs with quick turnarounds are Locketside and Buttonville. Any place is "safe" if you either know the locals or have a really solid group working with you. --Papa Johnny 16:07, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Logically there is no 'safest place' in Malton. Too many variables, too much to account for. Do you mean as an individual or with a group? Do you mean in terms of just staying alive? How long for? I've travelled to every corner of the map, mostly by myself, and I've seen every single place in Malton get trashed at one point or another, some longer than others. Malls used to be by far the safest places IMO before cade blocking, now it's more or less fair game for any location. Again, I'm going to plug my video I made on the suburb danger map [1], which back in 2007 and 2008 was much more reliable than nowadays, I find. At one point during that 6+ month period pretty much every suburb gets buttfucked at one stage, and I find it much the same now. Safety is where you make it, but as a survivor it usually involves hiding. --

NEW SAFE ZONE IDEA! Stop posting safe zones on the pages or on forums without passwords becauseany pker or zombie can just hit that page up and then that safe place is now a wasteland, i propose that from now on safe zones should be kept secret for the sake of other survivors!
