The High Command

The High Command is the central core of Officers in the MRF. They run the divisions and make decisions. The High Command (or HC) currently comprises:

  • Commanding Officer - Sgt Martinez
  • Tactical Advisor - Sgt Martinez
  • Infantry Corps Commander - Private Bananacool1
  • Medical Corps Chief Medical Officer - Specialist Petzjazz

Divisions

The MRF comprises three divisions: the Infantry, Medical, and Trainee Corps.

Infantry Corps

MRF Infantrycorps.jpg

This division is where the bulk of our members are located. They take care of some of the more major roles delegated to frontline units. These include but are not limited to:

    • Fighting the zeds
    • Securing/Maintaining safe houses and resource buildings
    • Scouting the general surroundings
    • Eliminating PK’ers who have attacked fellow members.

Medical Corps

MRF Medical.jpg

This division is where the rest of the MRF act as our Logistical Support. Medics generally possess the necessary skills used to ensure our soldiers as well as local survivors stay alive. Some of their expected tasks are:

    • Administering First Aid Kits to wounded and infected personnel/survivors alike
    • Reviving individuals located at Revive Points
    • Helping to maintain barricade levels in accordance with UBP standards
    • Eliminating any enemy posing an immediate and direct threat to MRF Personnel & Survivors

Trainee Corps

MRF Trainee.jpg

Newly recruited troops will be assigned to this division before ascendancy to either the Infantry or Medical Corps. Training will typically occur independently of the main group, although exceptions do occur. The duty of an MRF Trainee is as follows:

    • Reach Level 5
    • Maintain proper communication on the forum
    • Become acquainted with the mechanics of most things (if new to Malton)
    • Support the selected division (i.e. Infantry/Medical) in their efforts with the current Mission (when Level 5 or higher)

Special Forces

MRF Specialforces.jpg

Important Notice: The Special Forces have yet to be activated.

The SF will be dedicated to various types of activities covertly and overtly. The fundamental aspect is that they can operate effectively and independently outside of the Resistance (aside from requesting revives). Their Missions' objectives included:

    • Hunting PK’ers who have attacked our members.
    • Scouting locations ahead of the group
    • Locating and securing suitable safe houses for the rest of the resistance to occupy
    • Assaults against zed threats

Organization

The bulk of the MRF will be divided into two Squads named Echo One and Echo Two. Tasks are delegated between the two to ensure optimal efficiency in carrying out various Missions and Objectives.

Martial Merits

MRF weaponmaster.jpg Weaponmaster Ribbon A highly coveted achievement ribbon. It signifies complete mastery over both pistols and shotguns. Once a MRF member has both Advanced Pistol Training and Advanced Shotgun Training, they may claim this ribbon.

MRF Htohcombat.gif Hand to Hand Specialist Ribbon For those members who seek perfection of their martial abilities, the Hand to Hand Specialist Merit is the ultimate aim. This ribbon signifies the highest levels of achievement in their chosen style. Once a MRF member has Hand to Hand Combat, Knife Combat and Axe Proficiency, they may claim and wear this ribbon proudly.

MRF Fitness.gif Fitness Ribbon If the rippling muscles, flexibility and speed doesn't already illustrate a MRF member's dedication to physical fitness, this ribbon should spell it out. Once a MRF member has Body Building, they may claim this ribbon that -despite its size- weighs a full pound.

MRF Sniper.gif Sniper Ribbon This ribbon marks the chest of experienced and dangerous MRF members. These members shoot for the head, and knock zombies down like bowling pins. Once a MRF member has Headshot, they may claim and wear this ribbon proudly.

Community Ribbons

MRF Community.gif Community Support Ribbon In times as these, information is our primary weapon. The MRF recognizes that tagging has replaced most other means as a way to communicate to the masses. This ribbon was established to recognize those who use spray cans to spread useful information to their communities. Once a MRF member has the Tagging Skill, they may claim this ribbon.

MRF Radio opp.gif Advanced Radio Dispatch Ribbon While the Military continue their strict control of short-wave radio frequencies across the quarantined area of Malton, limiting the general population to the use of frequencies between 28.01-29.00 MHz, more experienced radio operators have found they can broadcast between 26.00-29.00 MHz. Once a MRF member has Radio Operation, they may wear this ribbon as they transmit vital information to other members of the MRF and their allies.

MRF Enginer.gif Engineer Ribbon Those MRF members who have taken their time to learn how to erect and maintain barricades are absolutely essential to the survival of those around them. Proper application of Barricade policies and the ability to wedge a vending machine into a doorway saves lives. Once a MRF member has Construction, they may claim this ribbon.

Sciences Ribbons

MRF Medic.gif Field Medicine Merit A ribbon that commands respect is the Field Medicine Merit. These MRF members seek to heal and prevent the infection that threatens us every day. Once a MRF member has First Aid and Diagnosis, they may claim this ribbon...and try to keep blood off of it.

MRF Sci Aci.gif Scientific Achievement Ribbon Those MRF members who spend the time studying and completing the Necrotech correspondance courses do so with this coveted ribbon in mind. The Scientific Achievement Ribbon is the rarest of the claimed ribbons, making it a highly coveted award. Once a MRF member has NecroTech Employment, Lab Experience and NecroNet Access, they may claim and wear this ribbon.

MRF Res Sur.gif Resident Surgeon Ribbon MRF members who dedicate their time to keeping the hospitals a place of superior healing. Once a MRF member has the Surgery Skill they may take this ribbon and display proudly for all to see.

Field Ribbons

MRF Acc.gif Acquisition Ribbon Finding the right tools for the job quickly and efficiently makes any MRF member more valuable and more productive. Those who display a knack for finding what they are looking for can wear this distinguished merit. Once a MRF member has both Shopping and Bargain Hunting, they may claim this ribbon.

MRF Recon.gif Reconnaissance Specialist Merit Malton has turned into a field of fortresses with makeshift bridges between them. Times like these have necessitated the ability to swing from one rope to the next, to sprint across rope bridges and to leap from rooftop to rooftop. Once a MRF member has Freerunning, they may claim this ribbon, which is held in place with 2 pins.

Special Achivements
