Owsleybank groups
Hallo Maverick, with regard to your spring clean of groups: Rotter's Relief is actually still active in Owsleybank (even though we are mostly bleeding at this stage). Do you require a more formal notice? --Mummelmann 12:48, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, this is good enough. I will note it that Rotter's Relief is still active. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 06:19, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Checking in....
I noticed Rotters Relief posted above, and you made them active.... I was hoping to confirm EVIL,... not sure if you knew or not,... but the only response required was on the talk pages. Any who,... we're still active. -Poodle of DoomM! T 04:24, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry that you haven't been confirmed yet, Poodle. We go back through and check all of the talk pages before we remove anyone. Confirming you early just saves us a little time later (at the expense of some time now, of course). —Aichon— 06:31, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Just checking in is all.... I thought it to be moving faster elsewhere,... and wanted to make sure we weren't missed... that said, thanks to all involved. -Poodle of DoomM! T 04:37, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

We are still active in Dakerstown
FUACK is still alive and well. We are a small group so we may be hard to find if you're looking for us, but we're here. In the future, please check in with us at our forum before removing us from the active group listing. Egil 03:24, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- A request was posted on your group's talk page that you confirm your activity. That same request was also posted on hundreds of other groups' talk pages at the same time as part of a semi-annual project to clean up the group listings for each suburb. Maverick was responsible for your suburb's groups, but there are only about a half dozen of us handling the project, and we don't have the resources to track down every single group listed in every single suburb, especially since the vast majority of the ones we remove are legitimately gone and no longer active.
- Maverick didn't remove your group mistakenly or because you're a small group and he couldn't find you in-game. He removed FUACK, just as he removed dozens of other groups across the city, because they failed to respond to the request that they confirm their activity. In the future, if you'd like to avoid this, the only way to do so is to check your group's talk page at least once every two weeks. The next time this project comes around, there's no guarantee that Maverick will be the one checking your suburb anyway, so that's the only way to be sure. —Aichon— 04:00, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- My mistake. I admit I'm not familiar with the politics of such things as this. My apologies, Maverick. Most of our members are not active on the wiki, and I check it only rarely. I shall keep an eye on our group page in the future. Egil 06:11, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- The next time we do the cleanup probably won't be until next year anyway, so you'll be fine for a good long while. Worst case scenario is that you get removed again and just have to re-add yourselves, which only takes a minute or two, thankfully. Anyway, sorry for the mix-up on our end as well. We tried to notify people in more ways this time around than we have in the past, but some active groups always slip through the cracks regardless. —Aichon— 07:26, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey
Thanks for telling me, I've been busy trying to level up and find a surburb to work in. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by BlackRider (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.
- No problem. We're almost always in the same five suburbs, so you always know where you can find us. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 09:50, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Districts
I anticipate a lot of district pages are going to be made soon. For my sake, I'm gonna just give you a heads up to categorise them as you go (since I assume a lot of the base coding is just copy and pasted anyway) to make my job here a little smoother. --
12:27, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, that will be the case. Just sticking with the one district page until we get a nice pretty format for it though. So you might not even see the other district pages up for a few weeks yet. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 19:40, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

10mfh
10mfh are still active in Molebank. Thanks for taking on the cleanup effort, Lord knows its needed from time to time and there aren't many willing to put the time.
Just a suggestion though, if a group has a forum listed it would be particularly polite to follow through to it and see if there's any activity there, or maybe even drop by and say hello (as for us, we love to welcome guests and there's always a good cup of tea waiting) before signing the death certificate. The 10mfh forum is VERY active and the two or three clicks it would have taken to verify that would have been a lot less effort than the changes you implemented took you to do and certainly for us in reverting them back. Even more so since my HTML/Wiki skills border on the laughable. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cs lewis (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.
- Hey. I know I'm not Mav, but I think I can explain. The Great Suburb group massacre took place on all 100 suburbs, so taking the time to register on every group's forum would've taken considerably more time and effort.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 17:36, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- To follow up on what Yonnua said (and to reference Aichon a little further up my page), it's the same policy for every group listed in every suburb. We realize that not every group checks the wiki that often, even if they are very active in-game or on their forums. That's why we give two weeks to respond and confirm activity. With all the groups that need to be verified, looking for them off the wiki just creates much more hassle and involves a lot more time than it is worth. But the nice thing is that in situations like yours, it's a very easy fix to simply add your group back to whichever suburbs you were removed from. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 22:03, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

If that offer of an alliance with the Order of the Black Rose is still open, We accept. And would you communicate with us about the status of the 'necro tech' your group maintains. Bowring Blackwatch
right on dude, never checked that discussion section. Sadly I see a fair amount of reaching out we've completely, though not deliberately, ignored. Oh well, we're here on the border of Old Arkham and Spicer Hills, like we have since '05 or '06 doin' our pro survivor thing. no revenge kills without a group vote, negotiations ... like that. So, come on down and bring some love ... --Akdov 00:12, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- It happens. In all likelihood if Old Arkham or Spicer Hills is running red, you might see me down there with the members of 404. Take care until then. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 03:23, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Template,district.
Mind If I write some flavour on the rose district page you've created? its a bit bare. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 09:49, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes please! I'm still playing around with the template itself to make the sidebar prettier right now, so I haven't paid any attention to the actual content on the actual district page. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 09:51, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- District SW-2 Thoughts? I have a few ideas about the page, why is the RADIO header in capitals? Also, with the complete lack of NT's and few FD's, it may be wise to go for a 3 width trp list and lose the bulletin boards? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 10:23, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- I wasn't sure, although I figured a mention somewhere about Abigale's Flower Shop or something flavourful to compliment the name of the district. The RADIO header is just something I borrowed from Mornington's page, and I figured we could add in any other notable frequencies (if any). As far as the TRP list, I've already decided to remove that entirely, I just haven't settled on what to replace it with just yet. Perhaps something akin to the "Key Buildings" bit that is normally in the suburb sidebars as Aichon suggested. No idea yet. Thoughts for tomorrow, unless you think of something before I do. --10:31, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, its just the capitilisation of RADIO I didn't like, none of the other headers are in capitals. ill mess around with some code later today. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 10:34, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Altered the background colour on one of the side pieces, do you think it looks better the same colour as the background?--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 13:42, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

group page formating and styles
hey, just wondering who did your group page formats and what not. we're working on spruicing the place up a bit with a colour scheme, and I thought you might be able to point me in the direction of some coding. Jack S13 T! PC 16:03, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- I borrowed most of the OBR's from the Burchell Arms Regulars, with some changes to suit my liking. I would also look to the Help page in the sidebar for generic coding help. But if you hit a roadblock you can let me know and I'll help you out or at least point you in the direction of others who can. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 21:06, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Sorry I haven't gotten round to coming yet, I'm trying to help Tollyton, it's been hit recently, building a group of survivors up, if you can help, please message me. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by BlackRider (talk • contribs) 05:09, 21 April 2010.
- Tollyton is pretty far outside the range of the OBR's influence, and 404 is rather busy in South Blythville at the moment, so I am afraid we are unable to help. But we'll be around, so get here when you can. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 12:17, 21 April 2010 (BST)
- Tollyton Gosh darn it. You got any tips, like which buildings should be targetted for reconstruction asap, etc? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by BlackRider (talk • contribs) 12:28, 21 April 2010.
- For Tollyton I would start with the NT and then work north to the hospitals and libraries. You also have to remember that you're right by RRF stomping grounds, so things aren't likely to ever be very safe over there. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 20:47, 21 April 2010 (BST)

Would like to discuss Earletown Cade Plan
It seems like you might be the one who went to the trouble of working on Earletowns Cade plan. Would you care to discuss? I have an Alt in the Earletown Rangers and we would like to go to a more VSB++ driven scheme. Thoughts?--Belisarius17 03:47, 6 June 2010 (BST)
- Nope, I have not done any work on Earletown's barricade plan. I have simply upgraded it to the new template. If you want to make changes to the plan, I would advise using the Earletown Barricade Plan talk page and give some time for other survivors in the area to pitch in information. Preferably even contacting other local groups so everyone agrees on the plan. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 04:56, 6 June 2010 (BST)

policy discussion
DDR made a mistake when writing the policy - he included Template:Inactive (which is a template for inactive sysops,) instead of Template:InactiveGroup (which is a template for inactive groups.) To keep within the rules, if/when he changes the link, he'll need permission of all voters. So I decided I would seek that now.
Basically, are you alright with the link being changed? Linkthewindow Talk 09:17, 16 July 2010 (BST)
- Most certainly. I read that on DDR's talk page as well. So in way more words than needed, I am okay with the link being changed so that it is correct. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 09:19, 16 July 2010 (BST)
- Thanks. It's an understandable oversight on his part, and I don't blame him. It's just that if he changed it without seeking the permission of those who voted, he will be decapitated by wikilawyers (and we don't want that...) Linkthewindow Talk 09:21, 16 July 2010 (BST)
