Suggestion: Unify Radio Frequency
Recommendation: Talk to your neighbors about unifying your radio station.
Currently, in Williamsville you have:
- 26.45 - Radio Williamsville allocated to the suburb.
- 26.75 - Red Guards of Williamsville.
- 27.18 - LURCS (Labour Union Radio Channel Service)
- 28.53 - Deck of 52
Having diverse Radio frequencies leads to inefficiencies. First, you have to retune the transmitters to use them. Second, effort is expended spraying graffiti resetting the suggested frequency. Third and most importantly, relatively few people are listening on any one frequency.
If someone sees a trouble spot, would it not be much better for local survivors if a broadcast on one frequency reached all of your groups? Also, it would mean not just reaching people with radios on that frequency, but miscellaneous people who happen to be in a building with a transmitter on the frequency. Diverse frequencies one group. A unified frequency will reach all the groups and more.
Just a suggestion. I've got no pony in the race.
I'm copying the suggestion on Williamsville, RGOW, LURCS, and D52 pages. --ZaqWer 00:01, 20 April 2010 (BST)

Overtagging
Again, knock it off! You came through Dartside and sprayed over the tags of other groups, including my home's rules. It's not even your "territory." There is no surer way to annoy your neighbors and create ill will than by spamming up their neighborhood with recruiting tags. Don't do it! --Queen Mum 21:38, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
First round of spraying over other tags
Hey. Just wondering if you could stop spraying over the M.S.L.F.'s tags or in our territory. - Fireman22
I haven't sprayed over any of your tags, not any that i know of. - Colin WMD
There was only a few so it's ok. --Fireman22

It's alright now, the MSLF District is now opened to other groups. By the way, welcome to Williamsville Deck of 52! --Pvt De 02:09, 10 October 2007 (BST)

The M.S.L.F
Hi, I'm Pvt De, Commanding officer of the Malton Suburb liberation Force. we would like to make an alliance with your group, and I'm sure the other groups in williamsville would like to also if they haven't already. --Pvt De 02:09, 10 October 2007 (BST)
Firefox
You know, I'd suggest whoever made your group page get Firefox; it has a built-in spell checker... Your page hurts my love of the English language. Torec T-CC/CS/CS/CS 13:50, 11 October 2007 (BST)

Currently the suburb in question is Buttonville but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a random request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:22, 18 July 2008 (BST)

About Firefox Guys
im not member of this group, or have any relation with it, but i can make sure one think... if you love a languaje who use "words" (if can be called that way) on a way so close to primitives languajes (like "Crash" for example) then... i start to learn another languajes if i was you, because the english can be a lot of stuffs, but "beautifull" is not one of them, and because of that (at least like to me) it barely deserve the name of "Modern Languaje".
WTF are you on about..............Colin WMD
History
Can anyone provide me with the history of Hurst Square School in Williamsville as your residence? Ted Blackheart 03:24, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Check that date when it was written, thats the only history of residence i can think of. Colin WMD--Colin WMD 13:29, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Occasionally, general checks are done of group activity. This may seem like a stupid question, but it's for all groups, regardless of size. -- RoosterDragon 14:33, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes we are still active. Colin WMD
More overspraying
Feon, you posted the following on the Williamsville status indicating a clear understanding that entry point graffiti should be left intact.
there are people graffiting over RPs, entry points and group HQs - dont know who though --Feon Kensai 09:18, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Yet, in Buttonville, the following two iwitness reports show D52 graffiti over two entry points:
http://iwrecords.urbandead.info/02-18-09_0500hrs_PRIVATE/IN_41-97_EP_Overspray_bdb-352-661.html
http://iwrecords.urbandead.info/02-18-09_0500hrs_PRIVATE/IN_41-98_EP_Overspray_160-fcb-48a.html
Please remind your group of your rules regarding entry points. Thanks! --ZaqWer 15:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I thought the were more guideline than rules anyway?
- The issue is one of common courtesy and common sense. Spraying over entry point tags leads to over barricading which leads to unnecessary survivor death. I was under the impression you were a pro-survivor group. --ZaqWer 17:45, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- We've been having problems with anit-deck sprays being put up, so to combat this we've told our guys to just respray them with pro-deck tags, some of which must have been your barricde code ones before, and not knowing our members will have just done what we asked.
If you tell us the nessessary buildings that need specfic tags, we will put out a notice to our members to try and keep those tags what they need to be. Colin WMD
Recruitment ad
Recruitment | |
Your ad has been removed from the Recruitment page because of rules violation, specifically your ad is over the limit of 200 words. There is a guide here. Please re-add it if you are still active and recruiting. |
I'm sorry, but the limit for an ad, excluding headers, is 200 words. Your ad uses 264.--Lois talk 10MFH 23:07, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about that - it must be the one thing I missed - I fixed it though. Thanks letting us know :) --Feon Kensai 09:44, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that everyone got a bit lax about enforcing the rules, so you weren't alone. I'm addressing one issue at a time, though, so we'll get there! Thanks for not giving me a hard time about it. :) --Lois talk 10MFH 11:17, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Player Killing Now?
Janus Drake PK'd me October 15. He wears your tags and is listed on your wiki as one of your medical team; has he gone rogue or have you all softened your pro-survivor philosophy? --Anne tardew 06:22, 17 October 2009 (BST)

Deck of 52
I, Mattias Nilsson, have chosen to kill the members of the Deck of 52 because the real Deck was a group of 52 people related to Choi Song targeted by the Allied Nations. Each suit showed their relationship to Song:
* Clubs are financiers, businessmen and criminals who operate a state-sponsored mafia (Division 39); * Diamonds are important officers and commanders of the DPRK army; * Hearts are biological, nuclear, and chemical scientists who assist Song in his nuclear program; * Spades are tacticians and advisers for General Song and Song's personal bodyguards, along with Song himself.
So I will kill you all because let's face it, the Deck of 52 should be PKers, and there should be 52 of you. So until next time...--02:06, 16 April 2010 (BST)
Is your Radio frequency still in use?
2010 Group Radio Activity Query | |
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Radio pages when they are no longer active.
Is this group still actively using the frequency specified on the Radio page as theirs? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not, it's frequency will be removed from Radio pages in 14 days. |
I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience or it seems relatively stupid when put into context of your group, but it is our interest to treat all groups on the same level when doing these purges. A reply within 2 weeks will be greatly appreciated. -- LEMON #1 13:04, 25 August 2010 (BST)
- No response has been made in 2 weeks, and as such, your group will be removed from the list. If you come back at a later date and would like to reserve this frequency again, just place it back onto the available frequency of your choice. Thank you. -- LEMON #1 13:31, 8 September 2010 (BST)
