Brooke Hills, also known as "Brooke's Hills" or simply "Brooksey", and not to be confused with Brooksville further south, is a suburb of Malton, located in the north-central area of the city. A cathedral, St Luke's, straddles its eastern border (shared with Shearbank). The large Malton City Zoo lies immediately over its southern border, covering most of NW Ketchelbank.

25.96 MHz: "... can see maybe fifty on the streets of Brooke Hills ... maybe a dozen outside St Wulfstan's Hospital ... several buildings with power ... serious collateral damage ... the Hellyer Building is being held ..." -- Kittithaj 14:51, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

February 17th

After a little tour of the northern half of the suburb: I can say this is not a green suburb. All I saw was red buildings.--Jakezing 13:48, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

February 15th

25.96 MHz: "... can see about forty on the streets of Brooke Hills ... a few outside Ryley Road Police Dept ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... the Hellyer Building is being held ... the Heathcote Building has definitely ..." -- Kittithaj 17:11, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

January 28th

No ruined buildings, about half of resource buildings are lit. Highest outside a building is about 2, except for St Wulfstan's Hospital which has 10 outside. Upgrading to...safe.--SomethingIsHappening 04:09, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Brooke Hills Defense Plan

Brooke Hills has joined several other suburbs with the announcement of a Defense Plan. This plan is customized off of the general Optimal Defense Policy, allowing maximum Very Strong havens for all players, and further keeping as many "useful" resource buildings open as possible.

The plan is new, and the Brooke Hills Museum Foundation asks that all visitors help to implement the plan, the goal being:

  • 1) That all characters can easily find safety from zombies.
  • 2) That all needed resources are available to any and all.
  • 3) That Free Runners have Extremely Heavy safehouses adjacent to critical buildings, without preventing #'s 1 & 2 above.
  • 4) That locals to Brooke Hills can come to count on buildings being open and safe.
  • 5) And that all Museums will be accessible to all to enjoy. (yeah, well, it works with the plan...)

Refer to the Brooke Hills Optimal Defense Plan.

The Brooke Hills Optimal Defense Plan has been updated and is being currently enforced by the Malton Fire Department and Malton Police Department. Forbin 16:55, 3 Feb 2006 (GMT)

Known Violations of the ODP

  • There are violations all over Brooke Hills. It is nearly impossible for anyone without free running to enter or leave most key buildings. On top of that, all but a handful of non-essential buildings are of the same violation, resulting in a lot of people dying on the streets.
  • There are consistent violations in the northwest PD block. Currently using my AP daily to try and fix them. These are pretty much unenforcable, but bizarrely, the people that overbarricade do not appear to be actually sleeping in the overbarricaded premises. --Calzion Smith 05:10, 4 July 2006 (BST)
