Earletown is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast corner of the city. Once a bustling area within Malton's northeast industrial corridor, a series of safety code violations led to a number of fires that destroyed much of the eastern industry. The workers from Rolt Heights led the campaign in the region to have stronger restrictions on company, but the government responded by promising an increase in fire stations, built through pork barrel support at the national level. Because of bureaucratic obstacles, most of the fire stations weren't completed until 2005, just before the outbreak.

General Information

A quiet suburb, usually known for its lack of zombie activity, Earletown'benefits from its proximity to Treweeke Mall, in Dulston. The lack of resource buildings (no Police Stations and only one NecroTech facility) may help explain why Earltown is a low priority target for zombies -- and not among the most popular destinations for survivors.

NecroWatch reported in from the Wortley Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 6 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, all the zombies were on their own and posed no significant threat to any specific locations. --Mobius 13:14, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

not a zombie in sight all buildings are very heavily barricaded or more and there are no ruins that i have seen suggest a changing of the color to yellow or even green as i think i may be near the only zombie in the area --Shade0095252 08:16, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

25.96 MHz: "... Earletown is still active, twenty or so on the streets ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... lights are on across the suburb ... infrastructure looks intact too ... power's back on at the Wortley Building ..."
I agree. Twenty unorganised zombies in an intact, well lit suburb means safe. -- Kittithaj 15:37, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
