| Fighting between declared communist forces and local defense forces has escalated into all out warfare. The Communists are in firm contol of the southeast portion of the Suburb with infiltrators readily moving into the Mall and the northern half. Anti-Communist (Nationalists) are repelling much of the infiltration attempts but are slowly losing ground due to low morale and inferior numbers. Nationalist forces are reported to have fled to out of suburb bases in preparation for a guerrilla campaign. | An inflow of refugees from the heavily ideological enclaves located in the south of Shackleville are migrating to the Suburb in increasing numbers due to increasing instability. The members of this small ideological community have recently established their "People's Republic of Tollyton" in the south. This has also led to some confusion among the residents of the south due to the Barricade plan being largely ignored with many informational notices being replaced by ideological advertisements. Tollyton is a suburb of Malton, located in the south-eastern part of the city centre. Before the outbreak it was a picturesque place popular with tourists, having a full 7 monuments to visit. Now, survivors might be more interested in the 5 local firestations and the four hospitals still standing.
Other notable features are Woodroffe Mall, and the revive points at [63,66], and at [66,66].
