It says that, right on the page. I mean, if you're going to pretend to be all indignant and crap when zombies do what zombies do, not caring about your silly harman rules, at least have the balls to abide by ''your own policy''. --{{User:RadicalWhig/sig}}06:10, 9 February 2018 (UTC) | :::::: "Oh no zombies broke into my building and killed people inside. ::::::Um... a building pretty much is a building these days. Not like we check the wiki to see what is said about a building before we hit it. We also, as zombies, can't speak all that easily, so it's not like we can come in and ask politely "May we please eat your brains?". Also, you said "Good luck on your quest to degrade everything and anything that makes this game special", but Bob is correct. As zombies, all we want to do is break into buildings and eat. If we don't do that, what do the survivors have to do? And ruining as much as possible ''is'' what makes this game special. Being able to have the constant fight between survivors and zombies (and PKers too I guess) means there is always something to do. {{User:Stelar/sig}} 06:48, 9 February 2018 (UTC) | ::::::Um... a building pretty much is a building these days. :::::::Personally I help deconstruct the barricades in this building because I honor the policy, but again I know not everyone likes to play the same way as I. To help put things into perspective, Quartly is considered to hold a statute very much like the Hotel Continental in the John Wick universe where "No business can be conducted on the Hotel premises, including fighting and carrying out contracts on other assassins in the hotel". This fits very well into the idea that no bountys are to be collected in the library nor any PKs / assassinations because respect. Quartly also is much like Papa Midnite's Club in the Constantine universe where it serves as a neutral supernatural location for half-breeds from both heaven and hell to meet. Any violence on grounds between zombies and survivors is considered very disrespectful. Personally, like IRL, I am well aware this is a video game and I would like to make clear that I do not hold any real malice toward any of you. I apologize for my first response containing a bit of venom, but I have learned a lot about how you play and how I play. I will have a better understanding of what to expect from you in the future. Do know you guys are providing the most fun experience I have had in Urban Dead since the Big Bash 4. However, in character, and for role-playing sake, you folks acted quite barbarically and that is your reputation now. You are primitive. You destroy first and read later. That is savagery brothers and totally within your right to play so. --[[User:ZombGG|ZombGG]] ([[User talk:ZombGG|talk]]) 12:39, 9 February 2018 (UTC) |

we should just redirected this to the QSG!
Friendly messages
My name is Gus Thomas of the RRF. Some of younger members have been asking about your fine library, and we have been informing them of the safe zone policy. However, some of them may not here in time or see the message. If any zombies with "Ridleybank Resistance Front" starts asking hostile in your library please let me know on my user page or the hordes forum and we will straighten them out. Sorry for the inconvenience if it does come up. --Gus Thomas 06:01, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm curious, what's going on with Quartly right now? Has the no barricade policy been completely revoked, or is it just on hiatus while LUE is in town? Bobolicious 03:03, 10 July 2007 (BST)
'The end of the library'.....? Temporarily, I hope...? --Saralan Talk 404 ZHU ❤ 06:43, 27 April 2008 (BST)
A note on etiquette
If you are a zombie, or survivor, who wants to visit the Librarians and visit for a spell, then please do speak to the literates, and let us know of your intentions. As always, we prefer peaceful interactions but on occasion people have violent intents for our educational halls. Sir Fred of Etruria
Notice from The Big Prick
The Big Prick will respect the no-revive-unless-asked policy of the Quartly Library. Asheets 20:36, 9 September 2008 (BST)
Legal rights
Looks like legal grounds are being violated huh... http://iamscott.net/1518075195541.html. Go Scourge ! --Murderess (talk) 07:39, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- The Scourge does not follow, and makes no pretense of following, either the Free Information policy, nor the Quartly "truce". Bree Kong Sc 08:30, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Good to know dear, see you on the other end ;) --Murderess (talk) 20:30, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Does The Scourge honor any UD policy or is zerging cool too? Honest question because I see no boundaries on your lack of class. Good luck on your quest to degrade everything and anything that makes this game special (: R.I.P. Quartly Library and your wonderful and time-honored traditions. --ZombGG (talk) 21:21, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- We don't condone zerging. We don't condone metagame spying. You can see the rest of our policies if you visit our page (second box down, on the right). And if any of us has done something "unclassy", please let me know — I personally try to make the game enjoyable for all. (Ignoring a wiki "rule" about a specific building is not unclassy.) And, being zombies, attacking survivor-occupied buildings is kind of the fundamental act of the game, jsya. Bree Kong Sc 23:47, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- A very generally accepted definition of classy is "decent, respectable, gracious, and noble" - none of which I have seen displayed in this building by The Scourge and I do understand my insight contains a biased leaning toward pro-survivor. This is strictly my experience - I enjoyed Quartly Library being a single building in the whole city where players of all play styles (PKer, survivor, zombie) could relax and have fun taking a break from the madness of everything goin on. This is no new concept for Quartly, but one stretching years back. Your group is very powerful, probably the strongest in the game. You are in a unique position where people take note of your actions and legacy and perhaps will even follow in your footsteps. The choice your group made was to disrespect a "wiki rule" / policy that has been in place for a long time. Murdering people in this building is a blantant display of barbarism to us of progressive minds. If that is the way you folks roll than so be it, but do understand with actions follow consequences. The Scourge's behavior consequates their character as in fact, quite class-less. All this said, I am having a blast battling against your horde and have only experienced temporary frustration as I am humbly reminded that not everyone cares about the same things I do. I truthfully looked forward to an entertaining encounter between us at Quartly --ZombGG (talk) 01:11, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
