The following medals of recognition will be awarded by the BAR Management to any of the Regulars who have proven themselves and/or participated in the specified campaign(s). The medals are officially awarded after the crisis has passed or the campaign has ended, preferably to be discussed while resting at the pub and enjoying a nice, cool pint. Members awarded with any of these medals are encouraged to include them in the forum signature; so that every local patrons can bear witness the Regular's accomplishments in the line of duty. In the future new medals will be issued as enemies continue to threaten the safety of Malton and crisis after crisis is averted by us.

Black Stein of Vengeance
A special one-of-a-kind beer coaster awarded to the BAR member who holds the score for the greatest number of known murderer executions. The current title-holder is the BAR's very own "Scourge of PKers", slugger1.

Frequent Forum Formulator Award
A limited edition beer coaster which denotes a particularly active BAR forum contributor whose posts are helpful, timely, and at least moderately legible.

Knight Watchman Security Badge
A limited edition beer coaster for those who show the proper initiative when dealing with all manner of non-zombie troublemakers (murderers, vandals, douchebags, etc). This badge is also worn by the Knight Watchmen.

Triple Chevron of the Eternally-Paid Cover Charge
A limited edition beer coaster for those who demonstrate unquestionable dedication to the cause (a step above "The Barley and Hops Memorial Ribbon of Freedom").

While not easy to wear on your jacket, what with them being wooden-framed certificates, these commendations serve an important role in awarding Regulars who were present during the defining moments of the BAR's history throughout the year(s). As one may well surmise, unlike medals, these commendations only recognize a particular conflict or event, and once it has passed will never be awarded again. So if you really do want to collect these awards the BAR suggests signing-up now and attending every campaign!

The "Battle of Santlerville" commendation was awarded after the BAR assisted their allies, the Dribbling Beavers, to defend Santlerville against the RRF in what would turn out to be a joint survivor group victory over the invading zombie horde. It honors those brave BAR members who fought and proved that zombies don't always win mall sieges, during May 2007.

The "Rolt Heights War" commendation was awarded after the PKer Alliance laid siege to the entire suburb in hopes of killing every survivor and thus turning it into a man-made ghost town. It was a hard fought battle during which the BAR executed 169 murderers throughout the entire month. BAR members must have joined before or during April 2007 to have earned this award.

The "February of Fury" commendation was awarded after both the Militant Order of Barhah and Mall Tour '07 smashed their way Rolt Heights in the same month. It honors those BAR members who fought bravely and barricaded with distinction in the wake of these zombie hordes in February 2007.

The "Knight Arms, Open for Business" commendation was awarded to those BAR members who celebrated the grand opening of the Knight Arms as the BAR's second headquarters and the establishment of their influence in Santlerville. BAR members must have joined before or during March 2007 to have earned this award.

The "Big Bash Party Crash" commendation was awarded to those BAR members who participated in the defense of the Burchell Arms and Rolt Heights during the initial and follow-up invasions by zombie horde known as The Big Bash. While many lives were lost, along with the pub, the BAR persevered. BAR members must have joined before or during October 2006 to have earned this award.

The "Battle for the Burch'" was the first commendation passed down to those members who were there on the very first day the group was formed. It was in those early days that the BAR fought for and defended the Burchell Arms pub from the great zombie menace. BAR members must have joined in May 2006 to have earned this award.
