What is Rosslessness?

Def : The feeling of loss associated with having no Ross.

Who is Rosslessness?

Let see, I'm a Bureaucrat and long term wiki user, whose been playing the game for two and a half years. I helped lead Monroeville's most serious Zombie Horde and was one of the last 40 Survivors alive in Borehamwood. But then I requested that Kevan Implement Snow and I was tracked down and eaten by a feral less than 24 hours later. Stupid footprints.

In my time I was in Borehamwood I discovered game breaking bugs and got them fixed almost immediately, whilst in Malton I like exposing the odd zerger. In the long term I've come up for more schemes than I could possibly implement in the game, so if you want a good suggestion on where to set up a survivor group, or a terrible one on how to win a mall siege I'm your man.

I'm currently a sysop on two other wikis as well. Find them both and receive a highly disappointing prize.

My Suggestions

Things I may be doing

  • Moving everything in Monroeville over to its correct namespace. Then trying to record its whole history.
  • Bringing all suggestions into the current system.
  • Writing an alternative Fort Defence Guide.
  • Writing a guide to surviving in a perma death city.
  • Creating a guide on Ghost Town reclamation. Probably including a reference to the specials.
  • Killing off most of the Wiki's 16,192 Red Links.

Some of the things I've done

  • Writing a guide for new survivor groups.
  • Managed to review the DEM suburb listings, removing them from over 20 suburbs.
  • Helped to finish categorising all the wiki's images.

Project Vinetown

  • Blocking, standardising and updating all of Vinetown's 100 location pages. Giving every location a history.

Monroeville Many

  • Helping lead the horde through hard times.

Monroeville Mall

  • Recording the history of its first fall.

Location Page Building Toolkit

  • Helping people find the perfect location image.

The Horrible Truth about suggestions

You know of the 42 peer reviewed suggestions in 2008, AT LEAST 20 of them came through Developing Suggestions. Just thought I'd mention that.

So Wrong

If you're at all interested, you don't even have to play the game, you can poke around the Urban Dead Wiki. It's filled with strategy suggestions, roleplaying tips, humor and all sorts of crazy stuff produced by the (extremely passionate) UD community. Just skimming through will show you what can grow out of a few simple rules.
