  • Jim Thirlwell - I originally added a player to be a reev but for some reason the post was removed. So, adding leader of ~EVIL~, Jim. Some other members of Evil will hopefully be around to help, will post their account names soon? -- LEMON #1 11:26, 16 October 2010 (BST)

General Discussion

Please use this area or start a new topic at the bottom of the page for general discussion of the event.

Hm...

What is the exact starting date for this? At the top of this talk page, under rules, it says 25th, but under date, it says 15th. So which is it? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 17:53, 9 October 2010 (BST)

Should read 25th. Juz corrected it. v4por is a tard. --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 17:59, 9 October 2010 (BST)
Sorry for the confusion folks. The actual event will start at 12:01am GMT on October 25th. The October 15th date is there because there is a 10 day prep time. That time is there to allow everyone to get alive, healthy and well stocked. Any attacks or kills on any participants during that time will result in point deduction for your team. So technically speaking the event runs from 10-15 to 11-7, simply because your actions from 10-15 to 11-7 affect your team.
Now having said that and after observing the RitA event, I don't think this is going to be an issue. Everyone seems to be on an honor system and I haven't seen anyone break the code of honor so far. If you are attacked or killed by an opposing team member after 10-15, you may post here on the talk page and appropriate action will be taken. --~Vsig.png 18:19, 9 October 2010 (BST)
Editing to add that after rechecking the dates of RitA, it looks like I'll need to extend the first day of prep to October 17th. Basically, after RitA ends on October 16th, there should be a cease fire to allow everyone the same amount of time to get ready for Red October. --~Vsig.png 20:53, 10 October 2010 (BST)

Comms

How are teams gonna co-ord? Obese Twins have a DSS phone. We need to report sightings of enemy scum to each other. Any suggestions? What did players of RitA, and other manhunts, do? --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 00:14, 18 October 2010 (BST)

Members of the Red Army side are welcome to use RDD's IRC channel (#RDD on the Nexus server). Since RDD never fucking use it... Strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others 00:16, 18 October 2010 (BST)
I offer Organization XIII's forums to be used for the forum of the red army. Although, the board will be password protected since Zensaga is registered on it... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 17:30, 18 October 2010 (BST)
For the Red Army's benefits...A Forum! It's hidden and password protected, so you might want to send me a PM to adjust your settings to view the board as well as the password... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 17:38, 18 October 2010 (BST)

Fuck the stinky Red Army! How do I communicate with the rest of my White Army? --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 19:42, 21 October 2010 (BST)

RP Kills

This more of a statement of what seems to be generally accepted in Manhunt events than it is an addition to the rules. RP kills won't count towards your score. I don't care if you farm RPs for infections if that's your tactic just don't do any killing. --~Vsig.png 23:14, 18 October 2010 (BST)

What does that mean? --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 00:04, 19 October 2010 (BST)
Which part? No killing at RPs means don't go hunting players waiting for a revive at an RP. Infection farming is when you go into an RP as a zed and infect other zeds so they have to waste FAKs and AP healing after being revived. It's kind of a cheap tactic IMO but I won't ban it. --~Vsig.png 00:18, 19 October 2010 (BST)

Aha, thanks. Yeah, am gonna slay reds as they cower in the dark! Are there to be RPs, or will the reeves come find us when requested? Oh, and a map of the field - http://dssrzs.org/map/12-13-22-23 --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 00:25, 19 October 2010 (BST)

Revive Points. I'll post more about it once the reeves are in place and have chosen RPs which they will monitor. --~Vsig.png 00:42, 19 October 2010 (BST)
I'm in Judgewood right now, the Ludlow Building. Most of EVIL are going through high school graduation exams atm so only a couple will be present, so I/We'll monitor the Wasteland that is 1NW to that (it's already an established RP so hopefully you won't even need my help if you go there, though you'll obviously get priority) -- LEMON #1 01:12, 19 October 2010 (BST)
I will likely hole up in Chudleyton near its single RP, Cemetery 12,23. I'll send an alt and whatever else help I can scrounge up to the other 2 suburbs. --~Vsig.png 01:21, 19 October 2010 (BST)

Can victims be in zed form? I know we can't kill enemy humans while we're zed, but if while human we come across an enemy zed (not at an RP) and kill them, does that count? I saw human-killing-zed screenshots on the RitA page. --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 01:53, 19 October 2010 (BST)

Yes, kills against zed while a survivor will count as points. I had played around with the thought of making them half points but after some consideration decided that the idea was dumb. --~Vsig.png 01:56, 19 October 2010 (BST)

On your mark, get set...

The event starts in a little under 48 hours from now. If you're not in or close to the playing field you should do so now. If you need a revive before the event starts, there are now reeves in place to take revive requests. Edbrooke Street in Darvall Heights, Cemetery 12,23 in Chudleyton, and Wasteland 16,15 are being monitored. We're trying to get someone up to Gatcombeton as well but revives there may be slow at first. I will make an announcement near the start of the event. Good luck to you all. --~Vsig.png 01:22, 23 October 2010 (BST)

The MOB is going to win. --VVV RPMBG 01:31, 23 October 2010 (BST)
Yeah I've been watching. And they certainly do appear to be heading this way. Lets just think of them as pissed off landowners that just want us off their property. During the war, they called them the Green Army. Fitting, yeah? It will just be an added challenge. Hope everyone is on their game. --~Vsig.png 04:32, 23 October 2010 (BST)
The green army were peasants, not landowners... And they were rebelling due to the famine and resultant increase in cannibalism. Somewhat more apt?--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 14:02, 23 October 2010 (BST)
