Current leadership expectations and style
Commander Puppiemaster - Young and passionate Commander with a deep sense of pride for his team. Commander Puppiemaster ensures that Anaconda exploits every AP in order to gain the advantage, especially when outnumbered. Frequently organizes real-time strikes with MSN coordination. Expects exceptional results, but likes to see the troops having fun above anything else.
The Identity of Anaconda
Anaconda has had a solid and noble history and led the way in innovation and standards. Condas are serious about their daily work and love to be challenged. Anaconda’s goals are not accomplished by individual efforts, but rather by collective efforts: the team working as one, strong, singular force. To be an Anaconda is a stamp of approved quality.
The Style of Anaconda
- Challenging operations
- AP efficient
- MSN use common
- Real Time Coordination
- FUN
Anaconda is for those who wish to maximize their in-game performance and are not heavily into role play. Although RP is welcome it is not mandatory and is left to the discretion of individual team members. Anaconda's main focus is efficient tactical game play, friendly camaraderie and getting the job done. Anaconda pioneered Real Time coordination within The Fortress and often enjoys them on a daily basis, however we also recognize that coordinated activities need not be done for the sake of doing them, therefore they decrease or increase depending on situational requirements. It isn't mandatory that all members participate; those unable to participate in RT coordinated activity provide valuable recon, medical aid and other independent activities which are highly valued by the team.
Most Recent Operations
Graphic under work!
- Operation: Conda Chain of Doom Jan 28 - Jan 30, 2011
Anaconda embarks on a (attempted) record breaking chain kill! With 11 participants
achieving a 32 kill chain lasting almost 32 hours. This chain kill had all the excitement one
could expect with Tommy Crowbar surviving amongst a 40 strong zombie horde for 4 hours and
Puppiemaster and Jeremy Monroe dying for their link in their chain, sacrificing their 2011 Vigilance
Challenge in the process. Great teamwork mean the team was able to last just a few extra hours at
the end when everyone was running low on AP in order to make the Chain Kill the 4th best in
history.

- Operation: Bogo Jan 22 - Jan 25, 2011
A joint operation with Dark Watch in Whittenside with the aim of recovering Fort Perryn.
After the successful operation Black Ops, the team was well versed in retaking forts. They were
so good that by the time they'd gotten there the Fort was already retaken! (technically retaken
by Dark Watch in an RTS, but retaken nonetheless). The rest of the op involved hitting the heavily
targeted local NT and Hospital. The fort was held easily with the aid of allies so the Op was short lived,
but nonetheless successful.

- Mini Operation: Meatshield Jan 18 - Jan 20, 2011
Much loved team member Miss Elainious is seriously sick and not able to login to her
account while was stuck in Fort Creedy! In order to prevent her from losing the 2010 AND 2011
Vigilance Challenge, the team initiated a search and meatshield effort. After a couple of days,
she had recovered without losing a single strand of hair. The mission was a complete success!
- Operation: Black Ops Jan 7 - Jan 18, 2011
Anaconda ran a strategic OP in Pitneybank to assist CDF and locals in retaking the mall and Fort Creedy. Anaconda knew that Pitneybank was completely ruined with 50+ waiting in the RPs. We knew that in order to get the burb back on its feet we first needed to increase the number of survivors in the area. Anaconda ran 2 mass revive coordinated real time strikes over 24 hours, clearing the RPs in quick succession. This lead to the mall being recovered in short order. The Undeadites made an unexpected U-Turn and returned to sack the mall so Anaconda, the Fortress' own tactical machine,, countered by recovering the Fort Creedy. We knew that zeds are attracted to a Fort like moths to a flame! The strategy worked and the recovered Fort drew the zeds attention from the mall, allowing it to be recovered once again before Anaconda bid farewell and moved on to our next challenge.
- Operation: Elves versus Reindeer Dec 23, 2010 - Jan 4, 2011
For the 2010 Christmas and New Years party, the Fortress returns to F4 for a friendly game of
Reindeers vs Elves. Team Anaconda worked with Cold Cell as Reindeers competing with Battlehawk and Dark
Watch with some of ever-vigilant Combat Vets split between both side. The objective was repairing a designated half of a chosen suburb, earning points in the process. The competition took the teams to Shackleville, Tollyton and the dangerous Stanbury Village. Much frivolities were also had during the fun operation. In the end the Elves just snuck out in front by 80pts but Anaconda's influence was unquestionable as the combat team that scored the most points. We really did outparty and outplay the others.
- Operation: Pub Crawl Nov 22 - Dec 19, 2010
The Mission: LIBERATE, REPAIR, BARRICADE, DRINK. It'd been a while since a good pissup
and Commander Puppiemaster took it upon himself to right this wrong. Through 13 suburbs and 31 pubs, much
unsoberity was had. Amongst the drunken debauchery, much newspaper slapping and late night snacking (on each
other) were had with Miss Elainious declaring a "newspaper whupass" on the boys. The Op ended at F3 in
Buttonville with a reunion with The Randoms before more drunkenness over Christmas.
- Operation: Fortify Nov 8 - Nov 22, 2010
Anaconda once again joins BC in retaking F1. The area, having been trampled over by Big Bash
3 was in bad shape with many buildings having high repair costs. With Anaconda's aid Pennville was quickly returned
to survivor hands such that it was safe to sleep outside. Whittenside was a bigger struggle as the TRPs in the centre
of the suburb became a fierce theatre of war between survivor and zombie. The battle was slowly pushed in favour
of the survivors however and with pressures easing, a couple of attacks on the fort were mounted. Unfortunately
they were unsuccessful. Although F1 was retaken only briefly, the two suburbs were well and truly in survivor hands after
the operation.
- Operation: Monster Mash Oct 23 - Nov 8, 2010
With Anaconda running low on supplies and F4 still attracting lots of attention, the other combat
teams join in on the operation as part of celebrations for Halloween 2010. The appearance of all four combat team
saw immediate results. Within the 2 week operation, the wider Shackleville, Tollyton, Wray Heights and
Kempsterbank area was returned to yellow/green status. The operation ended with the teams taking it right to the
SFNAS at their base of St Ferreol's Hospital.
- Operation: Open Heart Oct 8 - Oct 23, 2010
With Fortress 4 under heavy attack by the dispersing Big Bash 3 group and the RRF's return to central Malton, Anaconda, always strong protectors of our Fortress bases, charged to the aid of Fortress 4. Anaconda provided assistance to our defenders in F4, also known as The Heart turning the tide for a couple of weeks whilst a Fortress-wide operation was being prepared to provide a large scale restoration of central Malton.
- Operation: Sergeant at Arms Sep 25 - Oct 7, 2010
Anaconda's tribute OP in recognition of our new Sergeant Igor Dolvitch. Anaconda went to work in Chancelwood, clearing, repairing and cading safe houses for the local population, and of course slaying zeds! The team worked with speed and efficiency and soon had the burb shipshape. We rocked the place in style with a tailgate party following a busy coordinated RT, firing up the BBQ and sharing a few cold ones at Rodges Stadium.

Anaconda: The Original Fortress Combat Team
The Origin of Anaconda
When Fortress Four - the original Fortress - was finally secured in September 2005, The Ears organised a roaming squad to explore the nearby suburbs and report back its findings. He didn't realise at the time that this brave squad of vigilant crusaders, including legends Jensonson, Fet, Fishel and LePaige, and led by Bensonson, would form the initial Anaconda combat team. Three years later and the team is unrecognisable from its humble early days. Anaconda, named for being the 'A' Team of The Fortress, is a considerable force to be reckoned with.
The History of Anaconda
Commander Bensonson led the Condas for a remarkable 78 days before it was finally revealed that Jensonson - his older brother - was in fact the mysterious force behind The Fortress itself. Then, as Battlehawk and Cold Cell were launched, Commander and Fortress Legend DeathAxe took up the reigns and led them for a tremendous 140 days. DeathAxe set the standard for the group - he was solid, consistant and demanded regular activity and reporting - Condas played things by the book - and in many ways they wrote the book. Reporting styles, group tactics, teamwork and many other innovations were developed by Anaconda. Jensonson and Danny Lee led the Condas solidly for many more months and the squad was set with rigid discipline and procedures - ready for the innovation of Legend, Tommy Crowbar. The 400+ day reign of Commander Crowbar pushed Anaconda to new heights as he built the Team to lead the way in Fortress combat work in Malton. Crowbar’s LT, Miss Elainious, rose to command the team next, and was one of the most loved and respected leaders of all time. After leading Anaconda to a Best Team of 2008 award, Miss E felt it was time to step down, and handed the reins to Charlie mon, a Havoc Lord with plenty of command experience. Under Commander Charlie, Anaconda helped Malton’s survivors regain their confidence after a dark and difficult time in the city. This true leader nobly resigned when he could no longer commit the time he felt his team deserved. To fill his place Lucy Daniels, a truly remarkable Fortress Legend in the making, took command of Anaconda. With high expectations and a great leadership the Condas were once more ruling over Malton: they donned their detective caps to solve a baffling mystery, played hide 'n seek and killed 24 zeds during 21 hours at their Summer Chain Kill. In the Judge Crusades, the Condas stood out above all the others with a perfectly orchestrated operation. The spectacular Commander Lucy Daniels finally stepped aside (after a record-breaking run of 531 days) and Puppiemaster comfortably filled the void, organising the Warlord Games.
