Suggestion description

NecroTech buildings will have a unique colour on the NecroNet scan (i.e., the 9x9 map) which makes them stand out from other buildings. Very simple. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Please note that this is not a dupe of an in-game feature, as evidenced by this screenshot:

The five block Z-shaped "tetris piece" area in the lower left includes 3 NTs and 2 non-descripts, all of which are coloured the same.

Neither is this suggestion a duplicate of the following Suggestions. My suggestion does something very specific and different than these two "dupes".

This suggestion does one small thing: "Add a symbol to the NecroNet diagram that shows your position on the map." My suggestion does more, and is more useful, i.e. it colours all NTs within scanning range.

On the other hand, this suggestion does much more than my suggestion and is IMO overpowered.

the condition of all other Necrotech buildings inside the scanning area is shown. This means that when the map is bought up any other Necrotech buildings inside the scanning area will be flagged with an icon to show if the NecroNet is running in that building.

No. I offer no way to know genny statuses or any such thing -- just a unique colour on the scan's map for other NTs within the 9x9 range.

And finally... yes, this suggestion is based directly on this suggestion by Kaysakado. I give full credit to them for the idea, as modified by myself and made (hopefully) dupe-resistant, as well.

  1. Triple Dupe - the author himself admits that this is a dupe of Necronet shows NT buildings, itself a Dupe of the Peer Reviewed suggestions Mark NecroNet User Location and Status of NT Buildings Within Range. The only difference is that he's saying mark it with a colour, and the other one was saying mark it with a symbol. That's close enough for me. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 19:21, 4 June 2008 (BST)
