Basic Info:

  • Police Stations can be barricaded normally.
Eley Way Police Department

Eley Way Police Department is a derelict grey-stone building surrounded by burnt-out cars. It serves as the Malton Police Department headquarters for Greentown, and is a primary base of operations for District SW-1. Radio Channel 26.21mhz is for local bulletins and status of the precinct. All Cops are requested to report in to MPD Command on the forum as soon as possible. Malton Police Department

Please do not over barricade this building! It should be maintained as an accessible safe house and free running entryway, and as such the barricades should be maintained at Very Strongly (VS+2). See the Uniform Barricading Policy for more details.

History

This police station didn't actually fall under the command of Greentown PD before the outbreak, as higher crime rates in Tapton, but a lack of space meant they needed a PD but simply couldn't fit one in. So, they built this Police Department over an abandoned wasteland in Greentown, on the border to Tapton. The PD's position right on the border allowed it to respond to disasters in Greentown as well, and thus supplemented the forces of both police forces.

Purpose

"To Serve and to Protect" SW Greentown and her neighbors.

Located in the southwest quarter of Greentown. This small but proud station house has a equally proud tradition and place in Malton history. The Malton Police Department and the Department of Emergency Management would like the citizens of Malton know that our ranks are always open to those who want to make a difference here. Barricading Policy

Uniform Barricading Policy suggests that since the Police Station is an essential resource building, it should be barricaded to Very Strongly Barricaded +2 (which means, barricade it up unto the point where it says "further barricading will prevent people from entering" and stop so that people without free running can still enter).--Alice Cuinn 07:00, 4 June 2007 (BST)

Eley Way Police Department is a Proud supporter of UBP by actively maintaining barricades according to local plan or UBP standard. Hospitals, Police and Fire Depts should be kept at VS. DO NOT OVER-BARRICADE. If you feel exposed in a VS building, move out of these resource buildings. Over barricading locks other people outside. It could be you looking for a VS block one day. When a building is under siege by three or more zombies, barricade limitations may be temporarily ignored, but should be returned to the preferred condition as soon as the immediate threat is alleviated. After weeks with no sightings Malton Restoration Society and The Black Cross have been removed from the suburb.--Lois talk 10MFH 16:51, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

February 28th

Just finished scouting all of Greentown. List of the state of major resource buildings. St. George's Hospital is held by survivors at very strongly barricaded, one zombie stands outside with 8 dead bodies. Dixon Way Police Department is held by survivors at very strongly barricaded, one zombie stands outside with 1 dead body, 2 zombies to the south. Rounds Boulevard Police Department is held by survivors at extremely heavily barricaded, one body outside and 3 zombies outside nearby buildings. Polwhiele Way Fire Station is held by survivors at quite strongly barricaded, 1 zombie stand outside with 3 dead bodies. Weightman Boulevard Fire Station is held by survivors at very heavily barricaded, 3 zombies stand outside with 2 dead bodies. Eley Way Police Dept is held by survivors at extremely heavily barricaded, outside lay 2 dead bodies. Branagan Row Fire Station is held by survivors at extremely heavily barricaded, outside lay 5 dead bodies. Also St. Simeon's Church is ruined and in zombie control, 4 zombies inside and 6 outside, 13 more in surrounding area. Over all the north of the suburb is safe, with only few zombies. Throughout the south over barricading is common, but I assume this is in preperation for the zombies leaving Marven mall. Current danger level of suburb fits. --Knife Of Honor 19:03, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

February 25th

Almost all of the MOB has moved on to the east. Survivors have begun the rebuilding. Branagan Row FS and Eley Way PD are back in survivor hands, but a group of over 20 bodies are outside the Eley Way PD. The rest of Greentown is coming back slowly there is still a few small groups of zombies throughout the area. --Knife Of Honor 01:52, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

February 24th

With the Official Zombie Hit List swept clean, the MOB shambles eastward. -- Grogh 04:27, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

February 23rd

The Militant Order of Barhah has ruined most of the Official Zombie Hit List and is rooting out the last of the survivors. Many barricaded buildings are turning out to be empty as survivors flee to safer areas. This suburb isn't going to last another day. -- Grogh 01:28, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

February 22nd

The Militant Order of Barhah entered Greentown via the warehouse next to St. George's Hospital, and proceeded to ruin both of those buildings. They next moved south and ruined a pair of factories in the far SW. Heading east, they recently ruined both Eley Way PD and Branagan Row FS. They were last seen moving NE from there. They looked hungry. -- Grogh 04:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Update: St Dionysius's Church + MOB = Ruin. --Grogh 04:34, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

February 21th

The southwest of Greentown has come under heavy attack after the fall of Marven Mall. The zombies are making a major push on the Eley Way Police Dept doors are open and up to 15 or more zombies inside. The state of Branagan Row Fire Station is unknown. Will keep updating on Greentown for as long as I can. -- Knife Of Honor 08:47, 21 February 2009

February 20th

The zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah were seen crossing into Greentown from South Blytheville, through the western border of the suburb. They are being followed by several feral zombies as well. St. George's Hospital was opened up and at this time, there are in excess of 40 zombies inside. There are unconfirmed reports of a break-in further south in the suburb as well. --FLZombie 04:20, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

February 6th

The MOB continues to ransack the NW corner of the suburb and the surrounding areas. St G's and adjacent warehouse both ruined. Very unstable. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 21:11, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

from South Blythville:

March 6th

NecroWatch reported from The Preston Building today. Things are not looking up. A scan revealed 116 zombies within scanning range. Of these, 30 were at the Pippard Building, 11 were at the Hazeldine Building, 12 were at Marven Mall. Other groups of 4 to 6 zombies are scattered all about the scanning area, posing a high risk to survivor activities. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 10:12, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Update: NecroWatch updated its report to reveal that there were now 22 zombies at the Pippard facility, 11 zombies were at St. George's Hospital over in Greentown, 9 zombies were at Mear Cinema, 7 zombies were at Harnap Bank, 7 zombies were standing at Pattison Park, while 5 zombies were at both the Hazeldine Building, Whyt Plaza School, and the Plucknett Building over in Brooksville. The remaining zombies were fewer in number than these mobs. --Mobius 20:00, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

March 3rd

After weeks with no sightings Brain Rot Revive Clinic, Channel 4 News Team, Zombie Emergency Management Agency, Special Zombie Extermination Squad, Kingdom of the dammned, Church of the Plague Father, Hitman, Late Night TV Crue and Mercenaries have been removed from the suburb.--Lois talk 10MFH 17:05, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

fromNorth Blythville:

January 15th Several of the core buildings are ruined, other buildings in the core are having several break-ins frequently. About 50 zombies total in the core area, both inside and outside buildings.--SlegthVonDraco 00:50, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

January 10th In turns out you can't sleep overnight in Hebditch without waking up outside the building. There are still some survivors operating in the area, killing and dumping zombies. There is also some hope of revivification in the area. --Zoe Alinski 18:35, January 10, 2009 (UTC)

January 9th The entire Julie General-Hebditch area is in ruins, and zombies rule the land. The headquarter buildings of the local militias are in ruins (and if they are reoccupied this moment, they will likely be in ruins tomorrow). There are hardly any zombies waiting at the revive points, suggesting that the zombies who want to return to the land of the living have given up and gone elsewhere. It is now safe for zombies to sleep in the Hebditch building without worrying that they will wake up outside the building. If the MOB is no longer present, the local ferals seem well organized (even the graffiti is pro-Z). The area provides an excellent opportunity for survivors to violently cross over. --Zoe Alinski 08:11, January 10, 2009 (UTC)

January 4th Some core buildings have been retaken by survivors, although Hebditch remains in ruins. There are about as many zombies waiting for revives at the carpark by Julie General as there are zombie sentinels around Julie and Hebditch. --Zoe Alinski 07:07, January 5, 2009 (UTC)

January 2nd Zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah could be seen exiting the suburb, after leaving much of the place in ruins. --FLZombie 01:05, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

fromLockettside:

January 9th Updated the EMRP for Lockettside. No changes to the situation as reported on Jan 06. In addition, regular reporting on the NecroNet records shows minor scattered Zed activities around Pursey NT. NecroNet records can be a good indicator of Zed activities and can help Survivors to coordinate better. Please continue to scan Zombies in the area so that the information will be current. -- Lynx7725 05:28, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

January 6th 25.96 MHz: "... minimal activity in Lockettside ... lights are on across the suburb ... infrastructure looks intact too ... power's back on at Tompson Mall ..." (1 hour and 16 minutes ago) -- Lynx7725 12:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

January 2nd Lockettside has generally gone back to usual. Sproadic Zombie attacks/ break-in attempts are still ongoing especially for Pursey (NT), but things are generally calm. -- Lynx7725 05:43, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

fromWykewood:

January 21rst Many buildings are powered up and EHB. Very few ruined buildings, and very few zombies left in the area. Hospitals are powered up, populated, and EHB. Changing the suburb status to yellow. Makawa'o 20:55, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

January 10th Much of the suburb has been ruined. Through scouting, I can confirm that there are roughly a dozen structures left intact at this time, but these are coming under attack. --FLZombie 17:58, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

January 9th Later reports from that day indicate that both hospitals are fallen and ruined, with roughly 58 zeds in the area. Some 8 are outside of Spraggon drive railway station. The Curtis Arms is open with at least 2 zombies inside. Most other buildings seem to be EHB. --Fenian 04:52, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

The Militant Order of Barhah has arrived. The MOB Locator shows a wave of destruction coming from the western border along Nixbank. Survivors are strongly cautioned to not sleep in the open, and to hide behind the heaviest barricades they can find. --FLZombie 13:20, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Addition Malton revolution radio news bulletin: Mather library, the Godfry building, Banger cinema, Castleman walk, the Ross building, Spraggon drive station, and the Dufferin building are ruined. Survivor enclaves are scattered if at all present outside of the safehouse this report came from. --Fenian 02:40, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

January 8th Report over Malton revolution radio: Wykewood is not in great shape. The only two hospitals here are both under attack by giant hordes. Josephine is still standing, but Adalbert has been ruined. We anticipate that the score of zeds outside Adalbert will turn on Josephine, liely ruining it. There is also a horde outside of Samborne walk police department, which has been breahced. Our reporters did not uncover information on Lavingston PD or Castleman Walk Fire. Catcott Fire Station is still holding strong, does not appear to be under attack. The area north of Strong Alley School seems to be mostly safe, albeit accessable only to free runners. The prevalence of these large hordes suggests the possibility of organization in the local zombies.--Fenian 17:03, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
