20070728 Changing Check Back Later Message

Walrii 00:30, 28 July 2007 (BST)

Suggestion type
Cosmetic change

Suggestion scope
Out of AP message.

Suggestion description
Whenever you run out of AP, the game tells you to check back "later in the day." I know this is a very superficial thing, but I think the message should change depending on what time of day the user is playing the game at (based on the server's time). It makes the game seem more professional and furthermore, it just makes more sense when you're playing late at night. :)

Example:
"Check back later in the morning." (4AM to 12PM)
"Check back later in the afternoon." (12PM to 4PM)
"Check back later in the evening." (4PM to 9PM)
"Check back later in the night." (9PM to 4AM)

  1. Change - How about "try coming back in X minutes" (which is when you'll have 1 AP).--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 02:17, 28 July 2007 (BST)
  2. Kill - Time zones? Not to mention it is a pretty superficial change. --Druuuuu 05:35, 28 July 2007 (BST)
  3. Kill - It's a long morning you have :). I don't think it would seem more professional, especially if it's based on server-time. It doesn't look very good if it's afternoon where you are and the game tells you to check back later in the morning. The current message is perfectly fine. --Midianian 11:46, 28 July 2007 (BST)
  4. Kill - As above. --Saluton 16:53, 28 July 2007 (BST)
