20080711 Painkillers
Glenstone 21:41, 11 July 2008 (BST)
Suggestion type
Survivor's temporary physical health.
Suggestion scope
Survivors. Why would zombies eat pills? Unless they're brain flavored?
Suggestion description
Anyway. Found in hospitals (Twenty/Twenty-three percent, making it more findable than FAKs), fort infirmaries (since someone didn't do the math, just make it more findable than FAKS in there), and a small chance (around five percent) in motels and towers. The effects? It restores three health points, but it will not cure infection, and will not go past fifty HP if you have body building. You fucking idiot, painkillers don't work like that. Why the Hell would my character want to become a pill popper? Also, kill It's used to temporarily stave off infection if someone doesn't have an FAK after just getting up, or if someone doesn't want to waste an FAK on a single slash and is alone/other people don't want to heal. Yes, I know they won't work like that IRL (I was considering the effects going away after the person logs out, but I need to flesh that out more, and I also considered taking damage from an overdose), but still.
It's not useful if you have serious wounds, of course. And healing yourself with FAKs is a better choice if the damage inflicted was more than ten HP. What the fuck? My ten-year-old daughter makes better suggestions, fuckface. Get out. Okay, fine. Two percent encumbrance, and no, I don't know why would anyone want to stuff pills in some sleeping survivor's face. That means "no, you can't heal others".

Kill Votes
- Not Now - Perhaps, if my suggestion of how critically injured survivors (<13HP) can't move as fast (same AP movement costs as a starting zed), then this could temporarilly offset that cost. Otherwise, this suggestion doesn't seem to be worth it. --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 23:38, 11 July 2008 (BST)
- Kill - Unnecessarily complicated. --Neuromanc3r U! 02:09, 12 July 2008 (BST)

- Nothing's serious, anyway. Glenstone 22:30, 11 July 2008 (BST)
- Spam - Unnecessary. Plus, current system [FAKs] is fine. Billy Club Thorton T! RR 22:06, 11 July 2008 (BST)
- It's meant for single wounds or to temporarily stop your character from dying if they're infected after standing and do not have a med kit. Glenstone 22:30, 11 July 2008 (BST)
- Spa - Incomplete. Take it to talk. --Sir Bob Fortune RR 22:33, 11 July 2008 (BST)
- Spam - These would be on top of existing FAK-rates?! Hell no. And, contrary to popular belief, painkillers do not actually make you better, they just make you feel better. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 02:19, 12 July 2008 (BST)
- Considering that they're useless if you want an actual FAK and heal very little... Glenstone 02:36, 12 July 2008 (BST)
- Spam Considering that they're useless if you want an actual FAK and heal very little its still a bad idea. They would buff searches for FAKs by giving you something useful when you previously would have found noting at all. If FAK rates were cut (especially in drugstores) then this MIGHT work. - Spam - Not a proper suggestion. Try rephrasing if you want it considered. --Pgunn 04:52, 12 July 2008 (BST)
