POV News?
Yorba said: |
With Extinction seemingly on the move (anyone care to confirm?) Drake Walk has seen a decrease in the number of zombies awaiting their revivifying needle. This is good to for those mumbling Mrh? all over the place, because just over 24hrs ago numbers here increased. So for those waiting for revives, remember to register for a revive, it should help speed things up for you. If you're new to the game, coordinates for Drake Walk are 36,17. If you are elsewhere in Shuttlebank, you can find the coordinates of your position here |
That's a little too survivor orientated for me. The News section isn't your Newsletter where you put pro-survivor messages, it's neutral ground where bias towards one side of the other is NOT expressed (although we can all flower up the language to make it more exciting). 'arm. 06:55, 8 August 2007 (BST)
- Sorry you feel that way but I'm not sure what you mean by being too pro-survivor. Nowhere have I attacked anyone, and I was just trying to help out low lever survivors (newcomers) to the game to understand about revives, the revive request tool and also provided a link to a map of the surburb. Basically I provided these links because when I was new to the game I never knew the revive request tool existed and also didn't know that there was a map so I wandered around aimlessly for a while.
- If you let me know where you think it's biased I'll look at editing the post and future posts but I really don't see anything wrong with it. There's no propoganda in there, and more than half of the post is in relation to Drake Walk and revives. The post is obviously aimed at survivors, so in that sense, yes it is pro-survivor. Help me out here, --Yorba 03:11, 10 August 2007 (BST)
Suburb Danger Level?
WanYao said: |
More breaking news... Fabian General (34,16) is now under assault. 17 zombies outside, and about half a dozen inside. Less than 20 survivors inside at this time; breaches and survivor casualties have been very common occurances today. |
Time to upgrade the suburb danger level? 'arm. 04:08, 3 August 2007 (BST)
- I'm fine with that, not that I'm the boss of anyone : ) --Barbecue Barbecue 05:56, 3 August 2007 (BST)
- I won't do it just yet. I have a suspicion things might get better all of a sudden. 'arm. 06:00, 3 August 2007 (BST)
- oops, guess I acted too soon--should I leave it? Ah, well, I'll leave it to you to decide, no conflicts that way : )--Barbecue Barbecue 06:03, 3 August 2007 (BST)
- Well, it *is* supposed to reflect current levels, not predicted levels. Oh, and share that whisky around some more. 'arm. 06:22, 3 August 2007 (BST)
- Absolutely. Whisky for everyone, I say, dead or alive! I dare anyone of any faction to take arms (no pun intended) against that proposition. --Barbecue Barbecue 06:34, 3 August 2007 (BST)

Okay, apparently you have enough whisky and revivification syringes for EVERYONE! 'arm. 21:39, 3 August 2007 (BST)
- Some might say too many syringes, given that I even spent one on Captain911 before I realized who he was... but you (un)live and learn. At least nobody is likely to argue that there's too much whisky. Shall I deliver another round? : ) --Barbecue Barbecue 02:55, 6 August 2007 (BST)
- Another round of whisky may be in order to dull the pain (of my side splitting with laughter :P). It was incredibly amusing to sit in our chatroom and see *everyone* go "Oh, I'm alive - time to buy Body Building and get myself a flak jacket." And we've got more spies than ever before now! I know where to send troops when then need that extra boost now ;). 'arm. 03:14, 6 August 2007 (BST)
- It'd be fantastic if I could say, no way!, but between our (not SSCC) local combat revivers and admitted effectiveness of Extinction's tactics, I think you've found a resource indeed. I just hope that a few of my stupid inquiries to your Mrh?ers made it into the chat room, because I'd hate to think my foolishness went for nothing. That said, I was a bit hurt that I was thrown out of your IRC channel when truly all I wanted to do was say 'hi'. I know it's not playing to win school, but I do enjoy a bit of chat even with those who like to spill the contents of my skull. Oh, and as a gesture of keeping this otherwise delightful conversation on topic, do you agree the current suburb danger level is appropriate? --Barbecue Barbecue 04:01, 6 August 2007 (BST)
- I think we we talking shop at that point! - and there's a running joke about 'spies'.. Come back if you wish (I'll let leader know), but Extinction aren't actively targeting Shuttlebank at the moment. Though we could try to push you back into the Eastonwood Ferals when we do, I suppose! I'm not in Shuttlebank any more. I think going up to Dangerous was probably right, but it's up to your fine judgement as to when it's safe enough to come down again. It may just taunt us into coming back though..:P. With only one or two buildings ruined at the moment, and almost no zombie forces in the area, Shuttlebank was changed to "safe" --Jarlian 14:45, 12 October 2007 (BST)

Since you don't have a user listing that I can find -- but you do hang out in this 'burb, and even have a wiki entry where you've been blacklisted from a neighhood club, I wonder why? -- maybe you or one of your friends will stumble across this...
I refer one and all to:

I was playing the game, you n00b. I can attack you as much as I want. And I will.
Do I whine and threaten people when I get headshot? Nope. Do I whine and cry and trash-talk when my survivors get eaten? Nope. I mean are you that scared of little level 2 zombie, LOOOOOOOOOOOL!
So suck it up, princess... --WanYao 01:11, 1 August 2007 (BST)
Forgive me Bobby, I was having a bad day. Nobodies perfect. Also, I have no idea why I'm blacklisted at Club Brookman, as I had not been in Shuttlebank for a long time, until I came back and moved into Marfell. Elpelco
Group List Updates
deleted the Shuttlebank Militia tags, given their group page has recently been deleted; however, if any remaining members of the militia can indicate the group is otherwise still active, please do so and revert the changes. --Barbecue Barbecue 15:25, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010
All suburb wiki pages are undergoing a clean up to remove inactive groups from the group listing (see here: this suburb's groups). If you are a group currently listed in this suburb, you will be contacted on your group's talk page within the next few days and asked to reply, indicating that you are active in this suburb. Groups that fail to reply within two weeks of being contacted will automatically be removed from the suburbs where they are listed.
We're posting here in the hopes that more groups will be aware of the clean up and can respond appropriately, since our team does not have the time nor the manpower to seek out every group in-game or track down its group members elsewhere on the wiki. If you know that some groups in your suburb do not check the wiki, please be a good neighbor and let them know that they NEED to check it for this, or else they will be unlisted in the near future.
The wiki members coordinating the cleanup will be using the table below to track their progress in communicating with the various groups. Please do not edit it if you are not involved with The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010 team.
