Basic Info:

  • Office buildings owned by the company often associated with the zombie outbreak. From the outside, they are indistinguishable from other buildings, but characters with the NecroTech Employment skill are able to recognise them.
  • Among the internal descriptions found in NecroTech Buildings:
The NecroTech logo is set in the wall behind the front desk, and doors open onto powered-down computer rooms and laboratories."
  • If a generator is running inside the building:
"The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms."
  • NecroTech offices are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used.
  • Necrotech Buildings can be barricaded normally.

Description

The NecroTech logo glows gently above the front desk, and doors open onto a number of brightly-lit laboratories and computer rooms.

The Lambley Building is a NecroTech facility located in the suburb of Lamport Hills. Though a faceless corporate structure to the uninitiated, this facility acts as the heart of R&D for NecroTech within the suburb. Staff at this building commonly revive zombies at nearby revive points. This facility is the only NecroTech facility found in the entire suburb. Members of project NecroWatch renovated the facility in recent months, as they installed sensor eyes for A.L.I.C.E. throughout the building and uploaded NecroNet 2.0 into the facility's system terminals.

Mandate

Necrotech

NecroTech staff continue to follow directive 42-A, issued by the head office on January 19th 2006, with the activation and manufacture of MK-II revivification syringes. While the cost in time and effort are currently high the certainty provided by being able to manufacture a constant stream of syringes has mitigated early concerns.

The activation of NecroNet with all NecroTech buildings has also allowed scientists to apply the DNA tracking research they have gathered to date. The field research staff stationed at the Lambley Building feel certain that they can crack the mystery surrounding the spread of the virus as well as help monitor aberrant zombie activity within Lamport Hills.

NecroNet Reports

Zombie tracking reports are a free service provided by the NecroTech corporation to all its staff and local survivors in order to help facilitate quicker response times when managing zombie threats and to build a greater awareness of zombie migration patterns within the 9x9 block region around the Lambley Building. As a cautious reminder, only those zombies tagged with the DNA Extractor will appear on these scans, so actual numbers may vary when dealing with older zombies (i.e. Brain Rot).

Barricade Policy

This site is to be kept at Extremely Heavily Barricaded (EHB+4). This is in accordance with the barricade plans set forth by local survivors, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors, and thus requires the Free Running skill to be properly utilized. Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any survivors present at that time. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly.

December 2008

23th A small group of survivors have managed to reclaim the building after it fell into zombie hands for quite some time. It's now EHB and lit. Just a few zombies in the surrounding blocks. --XterrorX 01:15, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

June 2008

21th Moderate Zed and PK-er activity in/around the building. There are now six dead bodies outside and four Zeds. Also about eight Zeds in the surrounding blocks. --XterrorX 19:40, 21 June 2008 (BST)

19th The barricades were breached again and this time one Zed made it's way in. He killed the only scientist left in the building and left the rest of the building undamaged. The dead body has been dumped outside without being revived. Probably because he was the only NT scientist here. --XterrorX 19:47, 19 June 2008 (BST)

18th The barricades were breached and two normal Zeds and a Rotter managed to get in. They killed one inhabitant, but were killed by two Zombiehunters from the Grimstead Boulevard PD. The barricades have been restored to EHB and there wasn't any damage done to the Radiotransmitter and the Generator. --XterrorX 19:51, 18 June 2008 (BST)

5th The building is EHB, powered, has a radiotransmitter and there are eight people inside. The surrounding buildings are also barricaded and powered and there are (as far as I can see) no Zeds in the vicinity. --XterrorX 19:41, 5 June 2008 (BST)

May 2008

18th There is a group of Zeds coming in from the North. The Lambley Building is EHB, has 9 ppl inside and still has a Genny. Grimstead Boulevard Police Department promised the survivors protection. --XterrorX 21:31, 18 May 2008 (BST)

9th Building is safe, but there are Zeds nearby. To be specific, there is one in front of the building and two outside The Little Motel. An unknown number inside the hotel. --XterrorX 21:00, 9 May 2008 (BST)

May 2007

15th Mr Bitch, an Ass Kicking Alliance affiliate, is on his way to help secure and defend Lambley. He should arrive within the next 24 hours.

11th The Ass Kicking Alliance has taken control of the building and has instated a mandatory extremely heavily barricading policy due to increased zombie activity in the suburb. If any zombies wish to be revived please remain outside the building to allow employees to work inside.
