D.A.R.I.S,
These guys have been vandalizing the D.A.R.I.S. page for a while so they're trying to be clever and get around it by creating this. I have no idea what the official problem is, only that it's rather blatant and unfunny faggotry.--Insomniac By Choice 15:43, 10 August 2007 (BST) (Sorry did you say "No official problem" ...so then whats the problem take your ban hammer out of your ass)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Annun (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.
- The problem is that you guys are being asshats because you're precious mall was taken down, with DARIS just happening to be there helping.-- dǝǝɥs oʇ ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 15:49, 10 August 2007 (BST)
Annun would like to say "While I do greave the loss of Stickling mall, don't you think my problem might be the whole, "Stay out of shearbank or die thing?" Or did that slip your mind? but he has been ban hammered for "no official reason"--Slift 16:09, 10 August 2007 (BST)
- He was **not** banned for no official reasons. He was constantly vandalising a group page in this wiki. As much as he might dislike any group in here and disagree with their tactics, this doesnt give him right to vandalize their pages. He will be back in 20h, and i hope he learnt his lesson by them --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 18:29, 10 August 2007 (BST)
Personally, I think that the DARIS page should be rolled back and protected. He can make a "DARIS (2007)" page if he wants, but I happen to know that this isn't the "true" DARIS back; it's some guy who may or may not have been a goon trying to capitalize on their name and what it represents. There are no threads on SA about this, so it's not the DARIS we all know and love. This would be like me making a group called "The Gingerbread Men." There is precedent in the wiki for this - even from the old DARIS core - with the Council of Leaders pages.--Jorm 19:55, 10 August 2007 (BST)
- DARIS is historical and protected already, this is D.A.R.I.S The preceding signed comment was added by boxy (talk • contribs) at 01:56 11 August 2007 (BST)

Can there be one for a page that contains information that has been taken from a group without authorization? --Great Lord P4X639, MFD 02:16, 22 August 2007 (BST)
- That would be kinda pointless as it only takes one keep vote for it to have go to Deletion and by the fact that someone posted in the first place shows that at least one person would vote keep but if you really want one go for it other wise just go through Deletion- Vantar 02:37, 22 August 2007 (BST)
Crit 3 and 9s
No bitching from the peanut gallery? Damn, you'd think they'd at least throw in a token "WTF?" just to make their whininess less obviously a double standard. --HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS 02:20, 25 October 2008 (BST)
- Or maybe I only care about DDR and AHLG - ones that I use and that others use. I couldn't care less about mine or Jed's. Or maybe even because this snuck through so damn quickly no one was given a chance to comment?--Nallan (Talk) 02:25, 25 October 2008 (BST)
- While DDR may have been abbreviated much it's not used as a redirect much. Same with AHLG, Gnome had more links than both of them, and it only have about 6-7.--Karekmaps?! 04:15, 25 October 2008 (BST)
- Like I've said, it's not just about how many pages link to it, it's about the usage in the search bar, which I use daily.--Nallan (Talk) 04:17, 25 October 2008 (BST)
- So convince DDR to put the letters in his sig. It'll get you to him about as fast. Or not. . . But, it's not hard to remember the nick, you've known it longer than I have.--Karekmaps?! 04:20, 25 October 2008 (BST)
- I used gnome regularly in the search, and when i linked to him it was a LOT easier to go gnome than the alternative. I would happily have just that or AHLG, but getting rid of both and removing the places that do link to them seems pointless. Unless you plan on following me around the wiki and turning my gnomes into User:A Helpful Little Gnomes ? I just don't see why this need to go. People use them! Shouldn't that be enough?--xoxo 04:24, 25 October 2008 (BST)

New Crit?
I would like to be able to speedy delete merged location pages, as they are no longer recommended by the LSG and deleting them at A/D clogs up the system by requiring a vote on each individual page; however, none of the current criteria fit this situation. How would one go about getting a new criterion added to the current list? Does it require a vote somewhere? --Pestolence(talk) 20:22, 9 May 2009 (BST)
- Crit 1 No Content: The page contains no more than a line or two of content that cannot clearly be expanded, consists of random or incoherent content, or is duplicated elsewhere to no purpose. Pages created by Spambots typically fall under this category. If you've moved all the original content to individual pages surely this will suffice? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:32, 9 May 2009 (BST)
- Thanks, Ross! I'm so used to using that crit for blank pages that I missed that. I'll use that in future. --Pestolence(talk) 20:43, 9 May 2009 (BST)
Question
Question on categories such as this one; if a category only has one article, and the article is the same name as the category, does that apply to either deletion page? --Haliman - Talk 05:17, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- You could probably nuke the category page under Crit 1/borderline Crit 4. Cyberbob Talk 05:19, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Remove the category from Countryside (East) because it's already part of the Borehamwood category and it's safe to say that suburbs of the other cities shouldn't go by the normal categorisation rules as Malton. Then the category will be a Crit 4. --DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION-- 06:38, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- I can't find the category text anywhere on the page... o.o --Haliman - Talk 16:33, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- It's autoincluded by this template. Unfortunately there's no easy way to take it off, without messing with all the other b'wood suburbs, as far as I can see -- boxy talk • teh rulz 16:37 28 November 2009 (BST)
- You could probably just copy the code onto the page and edit it from there. It'd look a bit messier in the edit window but you wouldn't have to worry about it being in the category. Cyberbob Talk 16:39, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
