Sir?
thanks you for taking the time sir you a true gentalman. i can probably get the group #'s up in about 3 days once again thanks
00psy
Yeah, well... I forgot to take a screenshot as my not-so-friend Uncle Zed had just wandered into the building... Ah well, at least he's dead...
Just want to let you know
I wasn't being snarky or anything when I called you 'good sir'.
I plan on calling any Red Rum member Good sir from now on, in honor of Karloth Vois. If/When I join you, I expect to be called My Good Lady (I will also accept Good Madam, Good Madamoiselle, even though I'm not french, and My Fair Lady, in honor of the book) in return. --Tselita 23:49, 13 June 2008 (BST)
Good sir, your wisdom knows no end. You put it more succinctly than I ever could in your response to mine on the second syringe suggestion. It would indeed take the fun out of killing. I'm still in the process of levelling up my own PKer before I make her presence known. I must regret to inform you, though, that some sort of hooligans must have removed your signature from the talk:Suggestions page. With anyone else, I might think they simply forgot to sign, but a master of the art of killing such as yourself, good sir, would never make a mistake as such. I will endeavour to find the culprit who tried to make you look less than perfect, and flay them properly.
(once again... not being snarky:) ) --Tselita 18:43, 16 June 2008 (BST)
Wiki feedback
Bob,
Shame on you for responding to someone's honest suggestion to improve the Urban Dead game with sarcasm and bile. Not agreeing with a suggestion is no reason to mistreat people in your community. You came off as a bully today.
I hope you've got better contributions in the future.
Sincerely, --8 Bucks 21:21, 23 August 2007 (BST)
Bob, I appreciate your response. I'm pretty sure that everyone who bothers to sit down and write up a suggestion honestly believes that their ideas represent a way to make the game more fun. Sadly, far too many of them are mocked and ridiculed. We don't know where the next great idea is coming from and it certainly won't help the game to stifle people's creativity.
Thanks for taking the time to respond to me, and for working to make the game better. None of us are paid for this, and I think too few people are being acknowledged for the real work that goes into it.
Sincerely, --8 Bucks 16:27, 27 August 2007 (BST)
Kudos to you Bob for taking constructive criticism constructively. It's a breath of fresh air to see that on the wiki. -- T 17:11, 28 August 2007 (BST)

Clan Wolverine
First of all, we get that most people here are opposed to zerging in a major way. Of course that doesnt stop people from doing it. In regards to your comment, we have no objections to zerging.
However, while CWo does maintain alts in the same suburb, and most of the times in the same area, CWo DOES NOT use the same chars to accomplish one objective. For example, the other night a few zombies broke into Fort Peryn. It was up to CC Ghost Squad (who were freinds with) and CWo to eliminate the threat, since we were essentially the only ones on. We moved all of our people to take down the zombies. HOWEVER, we only moved one of our characters each
An hour or so later we moved our other characters (the healers) in cleaning up the mess (that other people finished)
Either way thanks for bringing up to our attention a point which we knew about already.
E Hallis, CWo Khan
Edit: No you misunerstand me, we heal zombie too, whats the point of driving away all of our XP? And yeah we heal survivors but its not like were all level 41 miitary types killing zombies. And its only one other character. We dont plan on staying in Fort Peryn long anyways. Just until we have characters strong enough to move out on their own.
Also frankly I dont like you snooping around. Let us worry about how badly we we do, and let you laught at us if we fail.
PK'ER
Bob, you character assualted a Wolverine member for no aperent reason. Desite your ersonal beliefs bout their "unusual" tactics, and question of Ethics, Fort Peryn belongs to the Cannonball Crew and their allies. Im posting a message on our forum about you being a PK'er and a zombie spy to boot.
Your body is outside the gatehouse if your looking for it. I left my calling card there.
Tyler Jorgensson (You can see what tme I psoted so why bother psoting it?)
Zergers @ Ft. Perryn
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will have to discuss this with my crew. In the mean time, please accept my apologies for Sgt. Jorgensson's killing. I'd like to ask you not to report him as a PKer for now, while I sort this out.--Koppie 16:58, 8 October 2007 (BST)
Appoligies Lieutenant? He killed one of my men (women actually but thats besides the point) and therefore he was punished for it. Myself, Dominica, and Jorgenssons happend to be on this morning and we all witnessed for no reason Bob attacking and killing the character Sara Lee Rosse (who happens to be of my goup) Seeing that no other CWo military were on, I asked Sgt Jorgensson to eliminate the PK'er for us, which he gladly accepted.
Their should be no appoligies, you should be thanking Sgt. Jorgenssons for removing a Red Rummer/ PK'er/ Zombie spy from the fort.
E Hallis Cwo Khan
Red Rum? Guilty as charged.
PKer? Yep. However, I did not enter the Fort today in order to kill innocents. I made two kills, the first at the gatehouse was a revived brain-rotter with minimal survivor skills. Here's his profile. I killed Sara Lee Rosse for being a cheat in a group of self-confessed cheats. I will continue to kill zergers. I didn't have the AP to give a reason for my attack.
Zombie Spy? Come on, Hallis. Are you really one of the prepubescent Trenchcoaters that still believes that 'ZOMG teh PKrz is zmobie spais!'. If you can prove I'm a zombie spy, do so. If not, shut your mouth. Us Rummers love the zombies so much that we went to Ridleybank in order to combat revive then shoot them.
I'm a PKer, but I play fair. Your charcters want to be mercenaries when they grow up, are you telling me that you'd refuse a PK mission? Your pal Darkzerg offers to GK and RK on demand. Who are you to be throwing 'PKer' around as an insult?
I don't mind being killed. If I did I wouldn't have joined the Rum. What I don't like is cheats, and people like Jorgensson who protect them. --Bob Fortune RR 18:53, 8 October 2007 (BST)
Reply
Mabye the reason you didnt enter is because you were not revived?
And the fact that your even in the fort, while addmitting to being part of a zombie group or PK'er group, automatically makes you a zombie spy. And no i see no reasons for spies in this game (OMG Look theirs 300 people in the gatehouse )
No Pk'er was not ment as an insult, (that message was in response to Lieutenant Koopie's post)
Also I'd rather have Jorgensson watching our backs than jsut about any other person in this game, because I know he will fight fairly, and we knows that if CWo "really does Zerg" by ganging up on the same target, or defending the same building with everyone at once" then Jorgensson and his squad will be the ones shooting at us.
And plus all this greif over a bunch of LEVEL ONES?! jeez for crying out loud, pick on the new guy attitude. I could understand if you were harrassing a bunch of Level 42/ 41 Military types with plenty of ammo and guns between them, but us? 75 percent of us are medics, and we spend our FAK's essentially healing Jorgensson's squad (cause their either always wounded, or dead (or zombiefied)) or our own.
Also of course we will take PK'ing missions, and Gk'ing missions, and RK'ing missions: were Mercenaries! However, just outright PK'ing without any sort of bounty, or any contract saying "Dude kill this person for this reason" is what your doing.
Heres a few good reasons why were doing what were doing: 1) Were all below lvl 10, once anyone gets higher than that, im sending them out to other areas of Malton
2) They have no supplies. Why bother leaving the most well defended place with the most supplies? Would you leave a foodmart in the middle of a shortage of food?
3) We dont have many guns and we sleeping in the open (Fort Peryn Training Ground) without barricades
4) Zerging is moving two or more characters in accordnace of the same goal, within 10 city blocks right? Well, one we aint moving them anywhere near the same time. Two, basically theirs three goals of malton: Kill all humans, kill all zombies, or cuase as much hell as possible. So in fact you can say almost everyone is moving their characters among the same goal. Three, why just blame us theirs plenty of people who make their alts in the same area and base them there. I can name a few Cannonball Crews who have had their alts and their mains in Fort Peryn while I was there (Course Im not going to, but thats a different story entirely)
So you know what, go ahead, kill a bunch of Level 1 and Level 2 medics. Like we give a damn, We'll pick ourselves up, shamble to a revive and wait as long as necessary.
My advice: just drop it, wait til were level ten or higher then bitch about it and we will listen.
I wonder who psoted this message? Hmmm check your edit button)
Response
Firstly, I am not a zombie spy. A PKer character entering a Fort will not be there to spy for the zombies. If the zombies did break in and kill everyone, who would we PK? PKers are not on the zombie side. We are the 'third team' in Malton; it's survivors vs zombies vs PKers. If I were to hang around in Ridleybank, or another zombie hotspot, I would most likely end up getting eaten. Happened last month in fact. A zombie will not look at my profile, think "there's a PKer - I won't kill him because he's on my team", and lurch away. Characters who help the zombies whilst in human form are called Death Cultists. Accising PKers of being zombie spies, especially with no evidence, just makes you look inexperienced and foolish.
Secondly, differentiate between character and player. I have 4 characters in Malton, and only 2 are PKers. One is a pro-survivor, the other a zombie. This is extremely common in UD. For example, Fort Perryn's own Sgt Forde is controlled by the same player as the notorious PKer Mr Shadows. Some of my fellow Rummers have PKer and Bounty Hunter alts.
Ok, about the zerging. I understand that you're new to the game, and want to level up. Everyone starts from level 1, remember. Ninety-nine percent of us level up without zerging. If anything, it actually slows down XP gain. You may have noticed, but UD has some built-in countermeasures against alt-abuse. For instance, if you have two alts within 10 blocks, you probably won't be able to find anything whilst searching. There is also the risk of your account being permanently disabled due to zerging. Here is a quote from the official UD FAQ:
Am I allowed to play multiple characters? You are, provided that they lead completely separate existences within the game - your characters should not collaborate.
No two ways about it, having two alts in one group is against the rules. By definition, the characters in a group collaborate. If you really want to hear it straight from the source, why not ask Kevan, UD's creator, if what you're currently doing is zerging? If he says it isn't, I'll give up PKing.
I, and countless other UD players, look down on zerging because it's cheating. I tried talking to you and Darkgrave about it, you wouldn't listen. So I figured I'd pay you a visit in-game. Anyway, the best thing you can do is to split your alts now. Contrary to what you think, the Fort is actually not the best place to find stuff. Malls have better search rates. Instead of having 4 alts in Clan Wolverine, only have 1. With the other three, either join other groups or start new ones. The longer you zerg, the more stigma will attach to your group. One of the largest zombie hordes, Extinction, have been dogged by claims of zerging. The result? Other hordes won't work with them. What would you do if you reached level 10, and no-one would hire your mercenaries because they knew you'd levelled up by cheating?
Finally, please sign your posts. It's easy, and it's just basic wiki etiquette --Bob Fortune RR 23:58, 8 October 2007 (BST)
Cannonball Crew Response
OK, I just realized I stepped in between two rival PKer groups in our fort. The Cannonball Crew does not support *any* PKer groups. We are discussing an appropriate response right now and you'll know when we've reached a decision.--Koppie 00:47, 9 October 2007 (BST)
Clan Wolverine Counter Response
First of, if it is basic Wiki etiqiette, fine w/e, but you can accomplisht the same thing by checking your editing button lol
Anyways back to the topic at hand, if we get hired after level ten or not let us deal with it. Frankly, I would rather have it known that we would bend the rules to the point of breaking them to accomplish an objective. Now in the future will I support zerging with my Level 10 or higher characters? Hell No, because at that point they can fend for themselves. In fact in light of this whole issue, I have jsut given three of my members a mission, so they are sending three of their alts out of FOrt Peryn ASAP.
And Yes I have read the rules that state if Characters are close to each other the percentages go down for attacking and searching. We realized that, and personally that is our handicap while were in the fort. It will prevent us from just killing a billion zombies, or healing everyone in the fort in a day.
And it is a proven fact that Pk'er groups colleberate with zombie hordes, so really I do not see them any differently. Of course in the future when we start accepting bounties and such we will be looked at differently.
GIve us a month, after that their will not be a single Wolverine insdide Fort Peryn (or Creedy for that matter) or until our guys reach level 10.
Eragon Hallis, CWo Khan 0912 EST
Bob Fortune's Position
Hallis, you are a cheat. To illustrate what you are doing: imagine a college footballer who decides he's going to take performance-enhancing drugs so he can make the NFL draft, but is determined to stop taking the drugs once he is drafted. Is he a cheat? Of course. The fact he plans to stop cheating at a certain point is irrelevant.
You're not a high priority, I have Red Rum business that I need to attend to. However, if I see you in Malton, don't expect anything less than an unprovoked attack. If Kevan catches you, don't be surprised to see your account deleted. I think it's sad that you cheat. Everyone starts off at level 1, and most of us have a hard time levelling. To break the rules in the manner you do is unfair to the other, law-abiding new players. Keep going that way, and the only allies you'll have will be fools like Darkgrave, who think that having 2 Flak Jackets gives you more protection than just having 1. --Bob Fortune RR 14:50, 9 October 2007 (BST)
Cannonball Crew Final Response
The PKer and zerger groups are not welcome in Fort Perryn. Currently identified PKer and zerger groups in the fort include Clan Wolverine and Red Rum. The Cannonball Crew respectfully requests both groups to leave in the next two days. If you're looking for a good place to set up, I recommend Joachim Mall. We're not trying to declare war on you; if we see you elsewhere in Malton we'll leave you alone. We're just trying to protect our fort.
If, however, you refuse to leave peacably, you will be removed. I sincerely hope it won't come to that. If you need more time we can negotiate.--Koppie 20:20, 9 October 2007 (BST)

Your Dead=
It was you. our characters were dispersing headed to seperate portions of the map. If was your Zerging army that destroyed the FOrt, and now because of you 2 good people of the Cannonball Crew are BANNED because of your STUPID INCOMPETANCE! As well as four of my own men have had their characters stipeed (thank god only one of them was only completly destroyed, but still). You targeted people not even in the same suburb. You should really feel ashamed of yourself for stooping that low after we agreed not to.
If any of us see you in the game your dead.

Allegations of Zerging against TZH
TZH has a no-zerging policy. All members of TZH that are found to be zergers are kicked out the group. Your allegations on the FOD page are baseless. Grow a spine, get some new insults, something with substance. Preferably with style too, if you think you're capable. We don't. In the meantime: get bent.--Dhavid Grohl 21:47, 19 June 2008 (BST)
- Touche Bob. Actually, I forgot about the hiding part. I can't really speak for any one player on my team but I know as a whole we don't hide. You know where we are, very few of us lurk in dark cinemas, clubs or banks. But those sure make it easy to find the asshats. If you bother to take a look for the last few weeks at where I have been you'll notice that its been all Hospitals. And if you think the one of them being a "Neutral Zone" mattered at all you're fucking kidding yourself. I was killed more times in that place than I have fingers and toes. I know because I use them to count ;) If I'm hiding I am doing a pretty shitty job at it. So yeah, there are two of your allegations that are baseless. Your bad. --Dhavid Grohl 23:42, 19 June 2008 (BST)
