User talk:Codename V/Archive
Who the f*** are you mate? Talos 17:09, 5 April 2006 (BST)
Very nice mate. Could you only aford the 'V' section of the dictonary? I'm sure a few groups will try to help, but many have their hands tied with their own problems Talos 17:21, 12 April 2006 (BST)
Uhh...are you Zombie master from bionightmare? if not, then just ignore me being stupid...
--Harbingerofdespair 11:31, 15 April 2006 (BST)
Ridleybank has been in undead control for far too long. I appreciate your cause for the simple reason of freedom. Much like the original V.

Rebuttal of claims of callous disregard
I am at a loss, dear moderators and vocal contestors, to see what exactly it is that I have violated. Perhaps you can copy and oh so ceremoniously paste on this Talk page the laws and rules of wiki and wikidom maintainance that I have broken, so that i may better understand and thus correct the error of my ways. As far as I knew in my clearly misinformed or perhaps ignorant mind, I was posting news, statements and communication on the discussion pages of groups. I do not see how this can be considered vanadlism when I thought that these Talk or Discussion pages were there to be utilised for the spreading of information and the general discussion of matters related to Urban Dead. I struggle, due to my idiocy of course, to see how these statements of intent and passion conflict with the purpose of talk pages. I thought the rallying of survivours to such a cause as the liberation of Ridleybank was a fair and within-the-rules motive. I have seen many groups ask other groups for help on their wikis, as have I seen many single users ask for the same help in the liberation of their own safehouse or suburb. Thusly did I post in news sections within main article wiki pages of groups: I believed this message I am spreading, with the kind support of other similarly deranged groups, was extremely large news should the groups or user be interested. Of course, I must have a screw loose in my cranium, as I see nothing wrong with what I have done, and see it - all in all, truth be told - in the spirit of the game. Prove me wrong, I beg to have my vision cleared. And apologies all around to everyone I may have upset or offended with my poorly worded warblings.
As always in your debts, --Codename V 13:51, 8 May 2006 (BST)
- A few messages is fine. But there is a difference between getting your message out and spamming. You crossed that line. --Cyberbob240CDF - Arb - W! 13:54, 8 May 2006 (BST)
- Stop being kind to him, Cyberbob240, the correct way to berate someone is like this…
- Shutup smart-arse. You know damn well that cross-posting on every group's fucking talk-page, and in same case their news page — not yours, purely to grab attention for your cause was going to, at the very least, piss people off. There are two very good places to post. The recruitment page, and perhaps Talk:Main Page. Beyond that there are the various Unofficial UD Forums you could've visited. Use your head. It's not difficult to actually bother looking around first, or ask a moderator if there is an official way to get publicity.
- Now that Codename V has been properly berated, I feel much better. –Xoid S•T•FU! 09:33, 9 May 2006 (BST)
- How incredibly boring and unimaginative you all are. Clearly there's no room on this wiki, much as seems to be all the more apparent in real life, for a bit of tomfoolery, lively spirited fun and intrigue. I shall abide by your grubby little rules as I have made my point and do not wish to be thrown into the electronic slammer, or much worse have my progeny deleted.
- But I hope you all feel a little ashamed about the big hoohah made of it all. T'was all in good fun and shall remain that way until the 5th of November.
- For those that have no notion of what I speak of, you have been saved a waste of 3 minutes of your dear precious lives. Carry on and fight the zombie, or if you are so inclined, human menace.
- Faithfully and lovingly yours, --Codename V 06:37, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- Personally, I don't give a shit about your cause, one way or the other. But I am rapidly loosing patience with you. There two ways to get publicity; the right way, and the wrong way. Guess which one you chose. That is why people are unhappy with you at the moment. –Xoid S•T•FU! 06:48, 10 May 2006 (BST)
Vandalism
You have been reported for vandalising the Gentleman Adventurers' group page, after having been warned. Have a nice day. --Cyberbob240CDF - Arb - W! 15:59, 6 May 2006 (BST)
Spam
Posting to every group's talk page looks a lot like spamming. Don't be surprised if the mods revert all this. Just a heads up. --Punchkin 10:02, 4 May 2006 (BST)
Stop fucking spamming everyone, you irritating little fuck. --Jorm 10:13, 4 May 2006 (BST)
Stop fucking spamming! I can't go to one page without your retarded little speeches. And V For Vendetta sucked anyway. Saromu 22:45, 4 May 2006 (BST)
LOL BANDWAGON Plz die. kthxbai--Mpaturet 22:54, 4 May 2006 (BST)
Moderation
Please do not vandalise or spam this wiki. If you continue this behaviour, your editing privileges will be revoked. This is your last warning. --The General W! Mod 21:37, 4 May 2006 (BST)
More Joyous Forgets
Look, may everyone please calm down. Rip purr deleted this on purpose and with my blessing. Leave him alone. And as for you Xoid, you may lose your patience with my rebuttals all you wish, but they are only rebuttals and if you decide to take action against me (which I am dreadfully fearful of, given the moderators traditional penchant for heavy handedness) for voicing my opinion, one which states I will abide by you and your ilks' rulings, then you are no better than a common troll. Hypocrisy is a nasty trait to have running through one. --Codename V 07:11, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- If you wanted to clear up crap on your talk page, fine. Archive it. But you do not blank talk pages, period. –Xoid S•T•FU! 07:21, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- Was I less than pleasant to you? Yes. I'm not going to ask you to guess why again, as you you've previously demonstrated that you cannot put two and two together to get four. I'm wondering if you still do not get this; there were appropriate tools at your disposal for publicity, and you either outright ignored them, or were woefully ignorant. Do not try to pin your incompetence on me. My terse words did not cause you to be clueless about what breached etiquette or not. Your own unwillingness to learn about the environment you decided to work within is what is at the heart of the matter.
- And while I'm not a moderator, and have no power to ban you, consider yourself lucky — this wiki is easily the most restrained I've seen. If you did the same thing on Wikipedia, you'd likely have gotten banned. If you did the same thing on other wikis of a similar size to this one, your getting banned would've been a foregone conclusion.
- Having said all, I consider this matter settled. –Xoid S•T•FU! 07:52, 10 May 2006 (BST)
- I don't think anyone objects to having fun; what people object to is stepping outside of the boundries of good taste. (As a side note, I think it's rich that someone who rips off Alan Moore so blatantly calls other people "boring and unimaginative.")--Jorm 07:38, 10 May 2006 (BST)
So why can't I clear my own talk page?
- Jesus, fucking christ. Let the man be! He may have crossed a line in attempting, in my opinion successufully, to gain publicity for an event that potentially could be one of the great events of the year, but he had good reason. Fair enough, it seems he has pissed some people off, 'some' possibly being an understatement, but I beleive it's for a damn good cause! At the end of the day, it was all in the spirit of jostling, fun and comical shananigans. No harm has actually come to anyone, correct? Now that the word is out, the man with no face has no reason to continue this onslaught of supposed 'vandalism', so leave your antagonising, not to mention plain insulting words to yourself. A lesson's been learnt, Codename V has apologised.. What more could you ask..?
Now, this is simply an example, and that alone. But if Caiger Mall was under the greatest siege UD has ever seen.. And several members went about using the same methods 'V' has to publicize what exactly is happening; people would flock to Caiger to aid the human struggle. They wouldn't turn around and dice the accused of deliberately spamming up Wiki's and Discussion pages out of ignorance and incompatance would they? We're on the same side here people! Can we not act like it? Apologies have been made, and hopefully accepted. Let by-gones be by-gones.. On the 5th of November, let us fuck Ridleybanks crew up!!! ^.^ --Chopper 15:52, 25 May 2006 (BST)
