A Question
Are you aware that the word "nevar" in your signature is misspelled? The proper spelling is "never." Have a great day! --Pedentic 02:34, 1 July 2007 (BST)
The Kingdom of Loathing
Do you have an acount in the above game?
Allience request
Request for alligence has been accepted. Its good to count U.N.I.T among our allies. -- Inquisition Commander Bob of The Malton Inquisition, 22:48, 7 Feb 2006 (GMT)

KingRaptor
Just a quick question: what does Zulu in your background info mean? (I know it stands for Z)
Oh, and your squad was wiped out in 30 minutes? Ouch. - KingRaptor 15:22, 21 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- Zulu here is a reference to a variant on the military time system, one based on Greenwich Mean Time - so an order transmitted at 1315 Zulu was transmitted at 1:15 P.M., Greenwich Mean Time. It's commonly used when orders are transmitted across multiple time zones (for example, orders sent from the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. to a carrier battle group off the coast of, say, Sri Lanka).
- And yeah, squad death in 30 minutes is ouch - but the squad, being eight men, was sent in mainly for recon purposes, and they were ambushed by a zombie horde numbering 32. --John Taggart 15:31, 21 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- I see. :)
- Oh, and you wouldn't happen to have served in the military of any country, would you? - KingRaptor 16:19, 21 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- Nah, I just read a lot. Although my mum was a sparks on a sub tender - the USS Frank Cable, as I recall. --John Taggart 17:16, 21 Nov 2005 (GMT)
- Oh, and you wouldn't happen to have served in the military of any country, would you? - KingRaptor 16:19, 21 Nov 2005 (GMT)
Oh yeah, just wanted to remind you to check the NMD forums. - KingRaptor 02:23, 25 Nov 2005 (GMT)
KEEP - Me likey. Mmm, black ops . . . One question, though - will they be running around trying to kill rogue NecroTechs a la Half-Life? --John Taggart 16:24, 19 Dec 2005 (GMT)
- RE - i'm not sure what you mean, i've never played half-life. my intention is to create a new class for diversity, paranoia, flavor, and roll playing sake - i wanted to leave it vague enough that each player can choose his own way to roll play with it (ex. some pker's may wish to use this class for its "evil" potential/flavor, some people that simply want a "tougher" flavor of the military to roll play with can use it for that, some that want to add the intrigue and paranoia of a Black Ops class to the game can use it for that, etc). i chose to keep it vague so that if pkers want to use it, people will have to weigh the possibilities before automatically killing them on sight (in which case pkers would just continue to use the popular pker character classes they do now), and i don't want to pigeon hole the class into one particular function - as that would remove the "top secret" intrigue of the Black Ops.
- i sent this "re" to you directly because your question seemed specific to me as the author - and i don't want to be accused of abusing the "re" function on the suggestions page, since i am probably already toeing the line with my "edits" and existing "re" comments (i don't know for sure, but i figure better safe than spammed/removed) :). i hope this answers your question. --Firemanstan 19:01, 19 Dec 2005 (GMT)
ahh. i understand you now. that would be interesting to see a group do that with this class. if it is accepted and implemented, and you start a group with that purpose - ill be the first to join. :) --Firemanstan 05:41, 20 Dec 2005 (GMT)
I noticed something from 160-165 on the imprison slavik page, is this in refrence to my name? if so, about time somebody noticed. Slavik 07:28, 22 February 2006 (GMT)
Omega2
We should talk a bit and make a few strategic considerations about the Siege of Caiger Mall. We both seem to share the opinion it was an one-hit-wonder, and won't happen again since Headshot got nerfed and the BB Upgrade kicked in. Everybody is whinning for nothing right, saying that "ZOMG MALLS SHOULD BE HARD TO DEFEND", when they're in fact mostly impossible to defend. What do you think? Do you want to help me out in this one? I'm already tired of those silly people overlooking important strategic points and whinning that the oh-so-powerful-zombies got defeated ONCE in more than six months of game. Reply to my talk page if you're up to that, OK? Have a nice day. --Omega2 19:00, 12 Jan 2006 (GMT)
Nice to know you agree with me. (Section removed as per writer's request - Taggart) --Omega2 19:32, 12 Jan 2006 (GMT)
INCyr
You asked if I was the same on as on UnFiction, and yep, that's me! I've never seen anyone else use INCyr EVER, so if you see it somewhere on the net, likelyhood is it's me. ;)
Hope you won't be insulted if I ask who you are? Your name is familiar, but I can't quite place it.
Your suggestion doesn't make it clear that if you don't lose your footing then you successfully climb over, so I didn't subtract the 5-25% from anything. In any event, creating barricades inside buildings that just had the barricades removed doesn't strike me as a good idea, especially since those barricades were just removed by the large building upgrade. That was the point I was making, maybe not as clearly as I could have, but there it is. --Dickie Fux 16:30, 12 Jan 2006 (GMT)

Please only edit the subsections. With your edit of the suggestion from 10th October (your addition of the "- or any other Signature Weapon skill" bit) you managed to delete half a dozend votes of mine. Madalex 15:16, 23 Nov 2005 (GMT)
Credits for wikipages
Claiming credit for a wikipage is a big nono and runs 100% contrary to its concept. Wikis live on everyone contributing and creating a community project, exactly not single persons having the last word. Apart from that, as soon as one other person edited that page, it was no longer "by" them. --Xeeron 11:14, 24 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Hey. Just wondering if U.N.I.T. was heading to Caiger. We'll need every last man to keep this place. --TheTeeHeeMonster 00:53, 1 Feb 2006 (GMT)

Discussion for Suggestion Alterations
- I have restarted discussion on suggestion alterations. Lets work on getting something established, and added to the rules - so all of us 'usual voters' can be on the same page with this issue. --Blahblahblah 18:31, 6 Feb 2006 (GMT)

Gen. Reptileus- we of the 501st Armed Division wish to form an allince with UNIT to protect Caiger Mall better.
Hello, my name is BalthusDire and I am interested in joining U.N.I.T. I am currently unaffiliated. My profile is at http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=430016
(BalthusDire) I am currently in Kinch Heights, but I am dead. I am going to the nearest revive point in Kinch Heights.
(BalthusDire) I am currently heading towards the revive point at 55, 82 in West Grayside.
John, you don't know me, but I was one of yours beforehand. I'm a UNIT "Covert Operative" - one of those soldiers who is part of national military forces to help prevent the spread of panic in situations of a paranormal or extraterrestrial nature. Yes, I know we "Cover Ups" aren't exactly considered the most heroic of UNIT personnel, but I'm still a UNIT man through and through. Any chance I can help in the Malton UNIT? --AlanSharkey 15:42, 12 April 2006 (BST)
That's a fortunate coincidence. I'm currently holed up in Darvall Heights. I assume that's because of the Caiger Mall? --AlanSharkey 22:06, 12 April 2006 (BST)
The place seems pretty dead (rather than undead) right now. Unfortunately, I'm in... living-related difficulties. --AlanSharkey 11:00, 15 April 2006 (BST)
Hello! It is me, Sinofdamnation from Bionightmare...I just thought i'd say hello. --Harbingerofdespair 11:37, 15 April 2006 (BST)
Impressive
You sir, seem like a toug and seasoned ally to have on side. I thank you for joining this cause of ours. With your profoundly welcome help, the 5th of November will have such tremendous force and valour behind it that nothing, least of all the undead, will get in the way of such a symbol of strength. We will endure, and we will be victorious. --Codename V 02:51, 23 June 2006 (BST)

Keep On Wheels - As above. (I have better things to do with my AP than accidentally DNA-scan myself, or try to heal barricades.) --John Taggart 20:29, 20 July 2006 (BST)

The Last Call for Liberty
Your pledge to the V for Ridleybank cause has not gone unheard. View the last words of Codename V at the 5th of November page before the liberation of Malton's heartland. I have spoken once more to rally and excite you in this time of vengence! --Codename V 04:59, 13 October 2006 (BST)
New Recruit
Requesting promisson to join up. I'd like to kick myself some zombie arse. Oh, I'll be dumping Caiger come dawn. That malls done for if you ask me. Just watched 70 rotters tear 20 survivors to bits. I emptied a few shotguns into them but I'm only one man with so much ammo. Ridleybank, here I come. --[Jack Merriweather] 19:45, 8 Nov. 2006.
Caiger has fallen. I woke up dead this morning, surrounded by rotters and inside Caiger. This is a sad day for humans. I'm now sitting in Hinks Crescent, in Yagotan. I shambled here after dawn to get a revive. There is no safe place left, not with the fall of Caiger, not with the existance of shacknews. 8:01, 10 Nov. 2006
Suggestion
This is BalthusDire back from the dead, i just thought about that maybe we should assign ranks within UNIT? Just an idea...
New Suggestion
Since it doesn't seem that there are any U.N.I.T. members active except for you and I, maybe we should redo the wiki??--Cheese nips 17:46, 1 July 2007 (BST)
Interested in U.N.I.T.
I stumbled across your group, U.N.I.T., today and it actually looked pretty good (it could be better, but it is already better than a lot of groups I have seen) and I was wondering if I could join. Now it has come to my attention, that you probably have only two active members, but I would not mind being the third. Rebuilding a group is something I wouldn't mind being a part of. Now I have to admit, I don't have very strong characters, but I haven't been playing Urban dead too long. The character I would want to be in here, would be xkid0 (Military level 4: everything up to Advanced pistol training and Freerunning, plus plenty of guns. Near of few Zombies that will get some exp.)Anyway, if the group is gonna be disbanded I will move on, but if you are looking to revive it I am interested. Xkid0 01:49, 14 July 2007 (BST)
