20080607 Barbed Wire

Blahhd10 21:26, 7 June 2008 (BST)

Defense
Skill

Survivor Skill
Everything.

Dont Know

I decided to suggest this skill becaues i was looking at fortification at [[1]] and thought about adding barbed wire. It would do 1 damage to anything that damaged it. NOT JUST ATTACKING IT BUT ACTUALLY HITTING IT You could find it in a junkyard or a factory.5% chance to find at either spot. In order to apply it you would need the skill Construction.(Just so that survivors would have to work in order to use this and not just have noobies running around with this causing the game to be unbalanced)And it can only be applied to buildings or junkyards with barricades present. Also, you cannot have multiple barbed wires in the same place. This does not damage people using free running but DOES affect people trying to enter.(I decided to only have the places to find barbed wire the junkyard and factory because in most cases they have barbed wire fencing around them)The barbed wire effect would "cancel" if the barricade was destroyed.(This effect weres off if no survivors are present so zombies don't get pissed off hurting themselves trying to break into and empty building. Instead it makes the game balanced for both classes because of an external description of the barbed wire telling survivors and zombies theres people present) If there is any questions or w/e put it on the discussion page NOT VOTING SECTION!! TYVM (yes there was other suggestions)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - I just don't think this would improve gameplay in any way. However, the so called "dupes" ststed below, in my opinion, aren't close enough to this one to be Dupes. They cause signifactnly more damage, and there are special effects different from this suggestion. --BoboTalkClown 16:30, 8 June 2008 (BST)
  2. Kill/un-dupe - Barricades are powerful enough already --Explodey 21:18, 8 June 2008 (BST)

  2. Spam - Why would the walking dead worry about barbed wire?--Jiangyingzi 22:32, 7 June 2008 (BST)RE: Dude its just a suggestion not a guranteed change. Its not realism. Its believability that barbed wire would hurt them. because by the way you're saying...nothing would hurt a zombie!0.o--Blahhd10 23:17, 7 June 2008 (BST)
RE: Did i ever say that they would WORRY? i just put they would get a damage of 1 so stfu bout worrying cus they can always stand up....--Blahhd10 23:17, 7 June 2008 (BST) Unsigned comment struck. --Scotw 23:00, 7 June 2008 (BST)
And I'm saying that a few half-inch metal spikes aren't going to be sufficiently harmful to dead tissue to result in actual HP damage. But this suggestion is clearly DOA, so whatever.--Jiangyingzi 06:35, 8 June 2008 (BST)
