Suggestion type
Skill buff
Suggestion scope
Zombies
Suggestion description
Ever notice that in zombie flicks survivors who are bitten slowly start to lose their health? But towards the end, their decline is much more rapid. I think this is due to the infection spreading much more rapidly when the survivor is close to death. In-game, Spreading Infection would cause infected survivors to lose health more rapidly when they are close to death. Once an infected survivor reaches 12HP, it causes them to lose 2HP rather than the normal 1HP per 1AP spent.
Your infection spreads. You'll now take 2 HP damage for every action you take, except speaking.

- Keep - As on DS, I think this is a worthwhile change, since it buffs Infected Bite in a way that it could really use. —Aichon— 18:06, 11 October 2010 (BST)

- Keep - Holy shit I wish I'd thought of this. It's pretty good, although I probably would have the increased damage start earlier than 12HP. --カシュー, ザ ゾンビ クィーン (ビープ ビープ) @ 23:12, 11 October 2010 (BST)
- Keep - Only the dumbest trenchies of them all will ever have to deal with this, but... P-A-R-A-C-H-UUUU-T-E! -- Spiderzed▋ 23:14, 11 October 2010 (BST)
- Keep - Egagh, the infection, it BURNS. John Ibans 02:03, 12 October 2010 (BST)
- Keep - Meh. Nothing wrong with a little extra challenge, is there? RinKou 07:44, 12 October 2010 (BST)
- Keep - oh yes, I like this, partially for the logic of dying faster when an infection well and truly takes hold, and partially for the extra pinatas that are bound to pop up! ~~ Chief Seagull ~~ talk 16:45, 12 October 2010 (BST)
- Keep - You know that fear that, maybe, the ruin you hope to use as an entry point is actually a pinata, and you're not sure whether or not to save extra AP for if it is? Fear and difficult choices. We need more them. Making pinatas easier will create them. --VVV RPMBG 00:49, 14 October 2010 (BST)
- Keep/Change - Make Wounded survivors suffer 2 HP per AP spent and Dying survivors suffer 3 HP per AP spent.--Sargent Havok 10:45, 14 October 2010 (BST)
- Keep/Change - Have it start at when survivors are Wounded but stay at 2hp loss per AP. The 3hp is a tad extreme in my mind. 03:12, 15 October 2010 (BST)

- Keep "Mike? You don't look so good." Actually, the group I see most benefiting from this would be zombie paratroopers. --keepster33 03:43, 24 October 2010 (BST)
