POV statements have never been disallowed from CP and there is no guideline stating things should be NPOV (that would be bad). Perhaps ours was a little over-the-top (though you should have seen the suggestuons I got in IRC last night). This isn't all too important to us, though so I'll allow some less over-the-top yet still POV statement and just be on my way. ~ 23:52, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Don't really know how active the community as a whole still is, but it would be cool to try and get some in game action. Maybe if we could get a game of "tag" going, We make some teams and get everyone playing. My idea for the game is to drop an opponent's health to 1 and if possible fire a flare outside the building for zeds to get some snacking. It would be interesting to see more interactivity. Another idea is to elect a mayor of Malton. We would just get everyone who wanted to to cast in-game votes. We would have to try and organize it on the forums, but it was something that I always thought was a good idea. JoshCz
:We've had mayoral elections in the past. They're...not as much fun as you might think. They always devolve into pissing contests. As for organizing events, the typical way to do it isn't to post on a page like this one (this page is really just intended to be used to talk about the process of re-evaluations for sysops), but to instead either create a page for an event and then invite specific people/groups to come to it (but don't spam out invites...we don't take kindly to spammy people), or else to organize it off the wiki entirely by talking directly with the active groups on their forums. A number of groups are still active and will receive ambassadors from groups who are interested in coordinating with them. 22:37, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

I think if it actually mattered to the game we could create a structure around who we elect. We could base it on who writes the best speeches. We start with the primaries, where anyone can run either under "the game purists", people who want to preserve the sanctity of the game, or "the game changers", a group that wants to change stuff. It would be interesting to get an in-game leader of everyone who could go around and get the opinions of all UD gamers. This election would actually matter because whoever we elect would be the in-game voice of everyone in their respective party. Maybe (and I would definitely be a member of the game changer party) the elected mayor could broadcast on all frequencies at the same time, and when in a room of large people he could speak to everyone.JoshCz (talk)

Since these are no longer just "Community Projects", they include events or just updates, should we change the name to something more fitting? Maybe Community Updates? Will do the necessary moving, relinking, if so. -- LEMON #1 07:48, 30 August 2010 (BST)
Question
The guideline page indicates that community projects may be posted here. I have such a project HERE that is designed to benifit the comunity. In past though, I have gotten myself in trouble for posting things that tie too directly to a group on wiki pages designed to be neutral. This tool can be used by anyone and is more helpful to all the more it is used. However, it was created by and linked to a group that I am in. Would it be against the guidelines to post it here? If so, what alterations can be made to the page or the location of the page to remove this objection?-- Albert Schwan 04:19, 15 May 2011 (BST)
- Omnimapis, I think, an already existing version of what you're going for. Don't remember if it's bot only though. Might have to make you a code for the SIM it's been a while since I've added anyone but I could see taking a few minutes to figure out again if there's interest. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 07:50, 15 May 2011 (BST)
- I'd go ahead and add it, NecroWatch was found to be fine and I'm pretty sure I added that one myself (and CP isn't all that active anyway). -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 17:37, 15 May 2011 (BST)
Question from The Big Prick
