Huntley Heights is a suburb of Malton, located in the north of the city. Prior to the outbreak, Huntley Heights had earned the dubious reputation as the city's red-light district. As the suburb slowly fell further into disrepute, a policy of denial at city hall resulted in the somewhat infamous character of the area and its residents. As drugs, prostitution, and petty crime became commonplace, a new clean-up campaign resulted in numerous drug busts, many high profile. The famous Geddes Plaza Shoot-out, occuring in conjuction to a massive drug raid, resulted in not only several deaths, but the explosion of a methamphetamine lab that ruined three city blocks.
