:::::::::::Public about where you are? What exactly does that map mean? Dark purple is where you are, that's clear, but the rest looks like you've thrown a bunch of red and purple darts at a board and coloured those suburbs in... by the way, what exactly is Downdey Mall? And finally, what is [http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1126310 Tom Metraft] doing in Ackland Mall?--{{User:Rachel_Akebre/signature}} 22:47, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
::::::::::::Good point, we really should have put a map legend up there. Dark purple is where we are, light purple is where we were, red indicates suburbs that have malls. Maybe at some point we'll clean up the map with regards to where we've been already, we haven't really decided about it yet. Dowdney Mall is a well defended mall up in Santlerville. It's maintained most notably by the Beavers and has been the site of 2 historic battles (1 against the RRF and 1 against the LUE). Lastly, about that profile, I can honestly say that I don't know what they're doing up there. Maybe he's lost or maybe he just feels like heading over to Ackland. I can say that he's wearing the wrong tags though. --[[User:Johnny Bass|Johnny Bass]] 00:34, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Your leaving too early. Cheeke is already back up albeit with 21 zeds outside. There are still some buildings standing, some even with lights. I know, its the '''Mall''' Tour. Oh well, I guess we can get back running to normal in a day or 2. And judging by the time it took, we atleast putted up a fight.--[[User:MisterGame|Thadeous Oakley]] 20:28, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Nicely done, Mall Tour '09! I've seen my share of sieges, but lemme just say that it was a pleasure to kill and be killed by an organized, blood-thirsty force such as yourselves. Had the pleasure of witnessing (rebuffing and running from) many coordinated raids on Giddings and much fun was had by all. this shit again? lol i remember mall tour 08 is this going to be a tradition?--Officer tommy 14:43, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see why they shouldn't. It's a good opportunity for the zombie younguns to get some decent experience, rather than fighting over the scraps silly enough to get stuck outside the barricades. Good for bored survivors, too, maybe they can organize and try to set up Battle of Santlerville 2. --Shaken Unfairly 15:18, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- seeing that no mall tour occured in 2008, i doubt you remember a mall tour in said year. --People's Commissar Hagnat talk mod 15:39, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Missing a mall?
Thought you would be hitting all the malls. Not saying anything just.....Dulstun?
- Apparently, they never bothered figuring out how to fix it while we were nearby.... Oh well, we'll get it later.--Johnny Bass 02:25, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
I think you should do a Uturn that will allow you to hit all malls in 1 lap.
- Rethink that statement so it makes more sense. Why would we make a u turn to visit a ruined mall? --Johnny Bass 00:07, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Giddings Mall
Thought I'd bring this up while I had my question still fresh on my mind. So, I noticed that in your long hauled rampage through Malton that you came through Pimbank and then proceeded to Tynte. Giddings Mall in Pitneybank was kinda overlooked and we were only one suburb away. I guess my question is as to how you pick your targets? Is it random, fly by the seat of your pants? Or is a coordinated strategic plan formed by the masterminds of the Mall Tour? :P --Michael Becket 14:35, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Coordinated and picked in advance to varying degrees depending on the situation. We heard that Tynte Mall had better barga!nz inside, but were in short supply when we passed through it. :p --Johnny Bass 00:02, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- I like this breather, he called me a 'mastermind'! Seriously though, we consider all sorts of things when planning targets, strength of opposition, numbers, management of the feral cloud, proximity of other large hordes and a whole load more. Although it looks like a chaotic random choice, we (and all those who help and scout for us) do a lot of work. Still, I'm sure we'll eat you soon. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 00:12, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Haha. Thanks Iscariot, Johnny. I didn't figure you guys were flying by the seat of your pants. And I look forward to reviving all those whom you eat. :) --Michael Becket 02:20, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Caiger Mall
Do you guys make characters and sit them inside the mall to view what's going on? I spotted a "Caiger Watchdog" in one of the corners here. Just wondering if that's you guys just checking on your targets before you get there or what? If that's the case, we won't take him out for the time being.-- BULLDOGC6 04:10, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- No, a "caiger watchdog" wouldn't really our style tbh. --Johnny Bass 04:21, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

- I might suggest you head for Ackland Mall then, in less than 24 hours Caiger's going to be gone. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 19:25, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

I see in your conduct policies you mention the following
- "The Mall Tour follows the legacy of classy events and classy players. The tourists are expected to behave in a similarly classy manner and encourage both side's enjoyment.".
For that I must say, YOU ROCK!! You have my respect and gratitude for approaching the game with such a positive attitude and style =) I'm looking forward to rocking you in battle.

Missing Ackland
I know its ruined, Im glad to say thou that you are doing a good job at stalling for time, so it can be rebuilt. How many Pkers have you got again? --Athur birling 12:58, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
You're joking, right?
There's a mall tour? Seriously?
This is exactly like the Fifth of November, only in zombie terms. Trying to recapture the glory days, making an impression which reccedes almost instantly. Sure, you ruin a mall. It gets rebuilt. Except Treweeke, but I don't know what happenned to them. Other than that... nothing.--Ryvyoli Y R 04:30, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- Aw, that's so cute. Someone going out to make fun of a group through a secondary wiki account. Proceed with the mockery when you're willing to be a little less lame in your own right and I'll happily give you a better response. --Johnny Bass 04:54, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
What the hell? Just cause you don't like the tour, I'm a survivour player and I think the tour is a great idea, keeps things fun and thats what a game is ment to be.--Athur birling 13:20, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- The idea IS getting a bit stale: --Jakezing 03:48, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Urban Dead would suck without groups like these. How would things ever be shaken up in a safe suburb? -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 03:49, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- That's my point, Gnome. It's not shaking things up in safe suburbs. Why are they hanging around Caiger? Shouldn't they be sweeping the southerns?--Ryvyoli Y R 06:35, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Are you even looking at the map at all? How about the orders? We've been very public with where we are. BTW, yes, we are already in the SW and we left Caigar over a week ago. kthxbai --Johnny Bass 06:44, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Considering they do it annually, it seems more like a chore, a obligation to do it. The original tour had a purpose: take the malls, scare the humans, use the new skills. The bash also had a specefic reason: the ones after: didn't do as much or with the same impact.--Jakezing 12:25, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Mall Tour is a bunch of zombie groups banding together along with a lot of it's own members. The tour is it's own purpose. It's a chance for smaller hordes to take part in bigger battles that they ordinarily wouldn't be able to partake in and a chance for survivors to actually have something else to fight. The most important point of any tour or bash... now wait for it.... is to have fun. I know that for some playes on here, it is a very foreign concept and I wish you the best of luck with changing that on your end. Entertainment value aside, there aren't exactly many large hordes for survivors to go up against in the game right now. I'd imagine it to be more fun to actually play against zombies rather than sitting around in circle jerks and doing the pker/bher thing. There's just too much map for such a small amount of organized hordes to hit in a timely manner. Look at Thompson Mall - that mall hasn't been hit since October. Buckley? Even further back. --Johnny Bass 13:05, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- There's reason behind that dry spell of battles. There's a reason why Ridleybank is nearly always red: horde location. --Jakezing 21:59, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah. Assuming that you actually read my response (I doubt it), I'm saying that there aren't enough hordes in Malton. --Johnny Bass 22:05, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- Why have a horde take a mall if it has no real strategic Value? --Jakezing 04:41, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- For the fun of it. This is a game remember? If you're not playing to have fun, you're doing it wrong. --Johnny Bass 07:04, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- Public about where you are? What exactly does that map mean? Dark purple is where you are, that's clear, but the rest looks like you've thrown a bunch of red and purple darts at a board and coloured those suburbs in... by the way, what exactly is Downdey Mall? And finally, what is Tom Metraft doing in Ackland Mall?--Ryvyoli Y R 22:47, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Good point, we really should have put a map legend up there. --Johnny Bass 00:34, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

- Why have a horde take a mall if it has no real strategic Value? --Jakezing 04:41, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah. Assuming that you actually read my response (I doubt it), I'm saying that there aren't enough hordes in Malton. --Johnny Bass 22:05, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- There's reason behind that dry spell of battles. There's a reason why Ridleybank is nearly always red: horde location. --Jakezing 21:59, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- Are you even looking at the map at all? How about the orders? We've been very public with where we are. BTW, yes, we are already in the SW and we left Caigar over a week ago. kthxbai --Johnny Bass 06:44, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- That's my point, Gnome. It's not shaking things up in safe suburbs. Why are they hanging around Caiger? Shouldn't they be sweeping the southerns?--Ryvyoli Y R 06:35, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Urban Dead would suck without groups like these. How would things ever be shaken up in a safe suburb? -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 03:49, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
So Downdey is simply a mis-spelling of Dowdney? Good, I thought so.--Ryvyoli Y R 06:48, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
I've been meaning to ask
Why is this a category page?--Jakezing 05:05, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- I believe it is so all the links are kept in one place.-- Adward 21:43, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Keep up to date
You have hit Tompson on the 28th, hence why we have killed some 'mall tour' zeds. Posting cause your slow and your page says you just hit Marven :/ Cmon are you lazy?--Athur birling 23:37, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I've been sick as a dog for most of the week and a little lazy. We usually do a full writeup to ruin the suburb that we're in. --Johnny Bass 23:43, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- Also, we call the targets, not you. Killing zombies does not make the area our next target, ask Giddings. Also, how have you been killing these zombies? You're not a trenchie that shoots zombies outside are you? -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 23:45, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Locketside
Your leaving too early. Cheeke is already back up albeit with 21 zeds outside. There are still some buildings standing, some even with lights. I know, its the Mall Tour. Oh well, I guess we can get back running to normal in a day or 2. And judging by the time it took, we atleast putted up a fight.--Thadeous Oakley 20:28, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I've got to agree here. What the heck? -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 20:32, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

- Good fight thou, all fun --Athur birling 11:14, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, your brains got moldy and stale. All joking aside, we could go back and forth in this area for another week or so, but we'd rather just start on our way to another mall. --Johnny Bass 14:10, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

West Grayside
Nicely done, Mall Tour '09! I've seen my share of sieges, but lemme just say that it was a pleasure to kill and be killed by an organized, blood-thirsty force such as yourselves. Had the pleasure of witnessing (rebuffing and running from) many coordinated raids on Giddings and much fun was had by all. Can't wait 'till next year! --Anne tardew 17:57, 1 April 2009 (BST)
- Thanks! We all had a very good time down there! --Johnny Bass 15:17, 27 April 2009 (BST)
