Hey Captain, how have you been? Guess what? I was talking about how awesome your radio show was to the other zombies, and they just can't believe how awesome you are! They're jaws dropped when I told them about how cool CORAM was (literally in one case; poor guy spent ten minutes trying to get it reattached while drooling all over the place). I'm hoping we can work it into Big Bash 3 so that we can all get autographs. Hope to talk to you soon!<br>

Hey captain just wanted to say hi. I was the guy who tried to join your group a while back, I saw you at the escape movement. Looks like it will be postponed for now, we'll just have to wait till mall tour when the zombies are busy or something. Heh. Just saying hi.

Historical Group Status
You have to put a group up for voting on the Historical Groups category talk page before adding a group to the category. --Papa Johnny 03:44, 3 June 2010 (BST)
:That makes no sense. I mean yes, I'll do it, but that makes no sense. -Captain Video 05:54, 3 June 2010 (BST)
::It actually does, but it's a long story. 3 years or so ago all defunct groups got deleted from the wiki. They made a category called "historical groups" which defunct groups could be kept on the wiki if they served a purpose to the games history. So any random retard was forbidden from adding their group (you'd be surprised how many there are), they made it so those groups had to be voted in. Now, Crit 12 is gone so defunct groups are kept, but we still use historical groups to put those special ones on a podium. -- 06:21, 3 June 2010 (BST)
:::Oh, so it's like a club? Suddenly, I'm interested. -Captain Video 06:22, 3 June 2010 (BST)
::::Yeah, they are "peer selected" via popular vote to have been meaningful to the history of the game and the way it's played. There's more info on the page where you submitted your group, I think. -- 07:25, 3 June 2010 (BST)

I hope you're aware your losing the historical vote, remember that in order to pass you need a 2/3 majority, which Escape doesn't have at the moment. Where are the other 400 members? ;) --<span style= "color: maroon; background-color: white">Thadeous Oakley</span> 11:21, 9 June 2010 (BST)

::Make some radio broadcasts; that ought to get some of them to stop by. Of course, CORAM is a bit wrecked at the moment, but there's other radio stations that were popular with Escape (like Ackland Mall's radio). Also, if you haven't already then don't forget to mention it in your forum. --Shatari 19:23, 10 June 2010 (BST)

DSS Red Zone Support

Hello again. Dulston, the once greenest of all green suburbs, is now one big ruin. Just take a look at the Dulston suburb page. Being part of only a small group, I don't really have anything to say, but help sounds always good to me. I think it would be best to contact the Dulston Alliance, we can be found here: http://z9.invisionfree.com/Dulston_Alliance/index.php .
Hope to see you around, Balcony JediELT|Talk! 10:02, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Penny Heights

Zip, just saw your news update in the Penny Heights page. I've been updating the suburb and building news for a while now, since the massive RRF incursion wrecked our pleasant little burg, and I've managed to put together a small group (too small, at the moment) to try and get organized to stop it from turning into a Ghost Town before the wrecks are unfeasably unrepairable. If you'd like to join us, leave a note on my talk page and I'll give you our location. If not, I'd greatly appreciate any intelligence you can give me on zombie numbers you saw in various areas, such as Joachim and Lumber, Odo General, Craddy NT, or any of the other significant resource buildings. I haven't been able to do direct scouting in several days. Thanks, mate - --DubStreet 08:41, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Zip, replying again on your talk page because it's been a while since we last spoke. Realized I forgot to give you our name, before. We're DSS Red Zone Support, and our focus is finding Red Zones (high danger suburbs) and lending support to the survivors there. We actually formed out of the chaos and confusion following the destruction of Penny Heights. For now, we've set up a field HQ in the newly recaptured Lumber Mall, and we're working to revive people and organize resistance. If you're still interested, Sophie and I would be glad to have you come join us. --DubStreet 03:20, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey Zip, just updating you: earlier today, Dub contacted me about recovering the Tomkyns Building, the mobile phone mast. I went there just a little too rashly, though, and got myself into a sticky situation, sort of a barricade-building competition with a zed. Or I hope it's ONE zed. Heh. Anyroad, I forgot to warn you, and now I'm worried about you. Zeds are eating your barricades, too, they were down to VSB when I left. Do try to move to another safehouse, if at all possible. Situation in Tomkyns is a bit tricky right now, you can't help me barricade and I don't think we can afford to play meat shields, so I'd advise against joining me here. I updated the group page, there's now a selection of buildings there we need status from, if you want to scout. Priority should be FAKs, though, I think, and I fear our local hospitals are ruined again. If that's the case, you may want to plan a run for Lucius General Hospital or St. Maurice's Hospital, bit up north in Houldenbank, see if they're lit, try and get medkits. A LOT of medkits. Here's a map. I may do that as well, actually, once I'm done with my metabolically-challenged friend here. Hugs to you, stay breathing. --Sophie Ames 21:07, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey George, just replied in my page, notifying you if you're not watching it. --Sophie Ames 00:57, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

George: I'm going offline for a bit now, will be back in an hour. Left a message for Dub in his page, explaining him my current "plan", such as it is. If you log in a bit later, and you don't see me there with you yet, please check on Rothwell and update me on the zed count. I'll bring a couple beers to the factory, eventually, for us to while the night - bit warm, but hey, we're still civilising this place haha. Note, though, this is not vital or anything; if you want to log out for the day, no problem. Hugs to you. --Sophie Ames 03:27, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
George: we still have no definite plan, as you can see :( But doc's with us now, and I have enough AP to CRAP 3 zeds easily. I told Dub, however, I would rather use them to revive helpful survivors - haven't got a reply yet. If I reach 50 AP, I may go revive our fourth member (there's a fourth now it seems!), and probably join you in that factory. Please update us on Rothwell and Tomkyns when you can - current inside zed count will be much appreciated. I cleaned up a bit our group talk page, addressed your comments that I couldn't yesterday, would like to know what you think. Good luck to you, and sorry to keep you standing by so long :( --Sophie Ames 20:03, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
We've got a fourth member now? Who are they, and where did you find that out? Sorry I haven't been replying, but I'm setting up the forum, and in addition to that, dealing with some issues from moving, which I just finished. --DubStreet 21:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Was talking about ZIPO, Dub. He said he may join us. --Sophie Ames 21:46, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Ah, I gotcha. Excellent! He should, it'd be great to have him on board. --DubStreet 22:27, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Radio

Hello Captain, I've tried to reach you via e-mail but apparently I didn't get through, so I'll try again here: after some time of real-life caused absence from UD in general, I realized that our group, the Electric Light Torchestra had lost our radio frequency due to inactivity of the group. Since we were really fond of this frequency (it was used to call us to deliver generators and/or fuel), I wanted to ask you how much you/your group cling to it, and if there's a chance that we could have it back. If not, I'd fully understand this and apply for another one, but you know, nostalgia... Please let me know your opinion on this.
Cheers, Balcony JediELT|Talk! 17:24, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello again, thanks for your quick response. This sounds like a perfectly good solution to me! Whenever we sent a transmission, we usually announced what group we were anyway, because there was another inofficial group broadcasting on "our" frequency. And of course, the ELT being a friendly and peace-loving group, we appreciate an alliance with other pro-survivor groups. I took the liberty to add your group to our Members & Allies page. Feel free to link to us if you feel like it. Now all we have to do is to claim the frequency officially. I don't know anymore how this is done, can I just add the ELT to the radio list? I'm looking forward to hearing from you and I wish your group all the best.
Kind regards, Balcony JediELT|Talk! 21:58, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for listing us. Stay in contact! Balcony JediELT|Talk! 10:30, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure how to incorporate it into Escape/Radio (well, if that really was you, I have no clue whatsoever), so I figured I'd put it here instead.

Hope this is useful. :)

Yep, that was indeed me. Thanks, I'll add it to the radio log.

H! harmanz!

Hope to talk to you soon!
Your friend and fan,
--Shatari 15:13, 28 May 2010 (BST)

Always good to know people want to tear me limb from limb for the right reasons. -Captain Video 18:54, 28 May 2010 (BST)
Don't think of as being "torn limb from limb", think of it as "being so popular that you've drawn the attention of some very persuasive souvenir hunters". ^_^ --Shatari 20:53, 28 May 2010 (BST)

Hey captain just wanted to say hi. I was the guy who tried to join your group a while back, I saw you at the escape movement. Looks like it will be postponed for now, we'll just have to wait till mall tour when the zombies are busy or something. Heh. Just saying hi.

Red Death

I took the liberty of creating a Red Death page. Hope you don't mind. Hope you join us. -Lord Rutherford 01:00, 2 June 2010 (BST)

  • Not at all. When one story ends, another begins... -Captain Video 05:25, 2 June 2010 (BST)
    • Indeed. We should probably get some consistency between Red Death and The Red Death though. What is your preference? -Lord Rutherford 01:39, 3 June 2010 (BST)
      • I prefer "The Red Death," since the article adds a holistic note to it (and as a nod to Poe), but that's just my opinion. -Captain Video 02:32, 3 June 2010 (BST)

Historical Group Status

You have to put a group up for voting on the Historical Groups category talk page before adding a group to the category. --Papa Johnny 03:44, 3 June 2010 (BST)

That makes no sense. I mean yes, I'll do it, but that makes no sense. -Captain Video 05:54, 3 June 2010 (BST)
It actually does, but it's a long story.
Oh, so it's like a club? Suddenly, I'm interested. -Captain Video 06:22, 3 June 2010 (BST)
Yeah, they are "peer selected" via popular vote to have been meaningful to the history of the game and the way it's played. There's more info on the page where you submitted your group, I think. -- 07:25, 3 June 2010 (BST)

I hope you're aware your losing the historical vote, remember that in order to pass you need a 2/3 majority, which Escape doesn't have at the moment. Where are the other 400 members? ;) --Umbrella-White.pngThadeous OakleyUmbrella-White.png 11:21, 9 June 2010 (BST)

I know, that's why I'm lobbying. I don't know where the other 400 area; I could have sworn I put them around here somewhere. -Captain Video 23:23, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Make some radio broadcasts; that ought to get some of them to stop by. Of course, CORAM is a bit wrecked at the moment, but there's other radio stations that were popular with Escape (like Ackland Mall's radio). Also, if you haven't already then don't forget to mention it in your forum. --Shatari 19:23, 10 June 2010 (BST)

Escape and Category:Recruitment

Escape hasn't any current goals. It also goes for historical status and is so clearly inactive now. Seeing that, would you mind to see the recruitment ad removed ahead of the automatic removal time to save that page from clutter? -- Spiderzed 12:24, 12 June 2010 (BST)

Yeah, sure. Thanks. -Captain Video 21:21, 12 June 2010 (BST)

Escape II

Rally the troops man, you desperately need more manpower! All our hopes rest on you. --Shatari 06:08, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

  • We need manpower we never had. I'm sorry I pushed 29 other people into this. Please pack your things and go home. This is unwinnable, and everyone has proven their loyalty far more than was ever necessary. -Captain Video 06:35, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Escape II Pt. 2

Sorry about how things turned out if you're serious about ending it. I thought I'd mention that the RRF wasn't out to ruin your fun right off the bat, we happened to be moving into Penny Heights about a day or two before your announcement of it as your location. I didn't want you to feel like we were intentionally out to get you or something before you had a chance. -- Papa Jadkor (RRF) (MotA) (MT11) 14:46, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Are you still there?
