History

The 501st U.S. Army Battalion was made up of about 250 battle-hardened soldiers, post-quarantine. Their base was Fort Perryn, when suddenly the outbreak occurred, and the quarantine was issued. Boxed in, and no where to go, the soldiers stayed where they were and monitored the area. The zombies eventually reached the fort, and after 3 days, over 500 zombies arrived. They broke through the gates and annihilated the battalion.

Three soldiers escaped with their lives, and ran for a near by neighborhood, Buttonville, knowing that zombie hordes were few and far between there. Sergeants Killian Ale, Ryker, and Corinthias took nothing but the necessary equipment, designed for their classes. On the way, they picked up 5 able-bodied recruits, and holed up in St. Columbanus's Church.

Since then, the Sergeants made the church their base, and began preparations to restore the 501st to their former glory. To this day, they are still recruiting anyone and everyone to join.

5. Obey your commanding officer.

6. Never retreat.

7. Never surrender.

8. Remember where you came from.

Enemies

Here lie those that will be struck down soon enough.

Cult of Necrology

On December 24th 2008, the 501st received word of a death cult in the northern reaches of Malton. This group was spearheaded by an extremely unstable man known as RedChris93. While the group was only one man so far, his ability to soothe others into his way of thinking is a threat to the 501st. That same day, RedChris93 sent the 501st a message on their radio calling them "heretics" and "heathens".

Upon hearing this message, Killian Ale conferred with the other Sergeants. After hours of much debating, they decided to announce war with the Cult.

A great deal of research has begun on the rituals of the Cult and their goddess Apocrypha. According to our scholars, Apocrypha was a deity popular in the Dark Ages for her lust for blood and death and her uncanny ability to damn any soul she touched. According to a witness, a fair lady with maroon hair was seen with RedChris93 near an unknown church.

We have no locational data. Until we know more about the Cult, we will not engage unless they attack us first.

Blood cult

While searching the great city of Malton, one of our scouts came across a member of the Blood cult murdering a man in cold blood. When the scout returned, he told the Sergeants everything, and they began to convene about this encounter.

While this group may be older than we are, and possibly stronger, we must stand by our decision to kill PKers. That is the reason why the Sergeants declared war on the Blood cult.

Legends of Darkness

We were looking through information of the Blood cult when we came across the Legends of Darkness. It disturbed us as to how ruthless this group was, slaughtering innocents like cattle. When the 501st looked at their kill zones, one of the zones were near Buttonville. Fearing that the Legends of Darkness might target Buttonville sometime soon, they immediately declared war.

On his way through Kinch Heights, Lieutenant Mbjarno was attacked by the Legends of Darkness, saying that the 501st could not hold them down. The 501st found this very disturbing and will escalate their war efforts against the LoD.

The 501st will try to defeat the Legends of Darkness, but not immediately. They will surely build their defenses first and then attack without warning.
