The Great Radio Group Massacre

Check-Mark-Reviewed.jpg Group Confirmed.
This frequency was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Hi there, folks. I know this may seem a rather strange request, but it's for all groups, regardless of size, to help keep the wiki up to date. Are you still active and using the frequency? --Jen 01:58, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

In a one word answer: Absolutely. Without radio the D.I.T.P.S would shrivel up and die, much like a turnip left out under a hot, unmerciful sun. --Mobius 19:14, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

FYI

Your group's ad on the Recruitment page has been severly edited, due to an excess of words. You may wish to correct that, in order to grow your membership. Have a great day! --Pedentic 04:10, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Mobius187 was nice enough to fix it.--C2s 17:32, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

not an anagram!

i was just reading your news page and noticed that caleb usher referred to the name D.I.T.P.S. as an anagram this is incorrect it is a acronym not an anagram a anagram is a jumbled word that can be unjumbled to form a word or words

EX:hircsa=chairs

--Jay dark one 22:38, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

I spent a good minute trying to turn DITPS into an anagram to prove you wrong, but with only one vowel I couldn't come up with anything. In defeat I changed the news to now read "acronym". --Mobius187 17:40, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
you've got nothing to worry about i won't laugh at you for your mistake or your failed and useless attempt at correction well actually i will *insert mocking laughter here*

Oooo-kay. And a Merry Christmas to you too. --Mobius187 16:29, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to the groups page!

I edited your page so that it appears on the groups page under Human Groups. Good luck! Peter Steele 02:09, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

I also just made a tinyurl for your wiki so you can tag some links: http://tinyurl.com/y6x5hr Peter Steele 19:13, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Group Discussion (Pre-Forum)

Before there was a forum some of the group's policies and goals were discussed here. While it's not unlikely other wiki-related updates may appear here odds are higher they'll be discussed in the DITPS forum. Anywho, group members are still free to post here, with the newest topic at the top:

Policy Section

It seems like we could use a policy section... For instance, I have no idea what we feel about barricading the HQ and surrounding areas, whether or not we are willing to revive rotters in NT buildings, if we condone combat revives, etc. Also other players could see it and know what kind of behavior is expected in our "turf" :) --Intx13 17:53, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

While I cannot speak for your group's revival policy, I would suggest reading up on the suburb barricade plan. As DITPS is a member group of the Dulston Alliance all its members are required to enforce the standard suburb barricade policy. This policy can be found linked on the suburb wikipage. As DITPS is located in hospitals, I would assume you're working with a standard "VS+2, unless 5+ zombies then EH until they bugger off". Hospitals are rarely kept above VS+2 when there is no danger in sight as they are the primary source for gaining experience as a low-level survivor (i.e. FAKs), not to mention providing medical aid (which is every hospitals "Mandate" by default). --Mobius187 March 10 2007, 1:46 PM (EST)
Good idea... when you guys are ready please review my basic suggestions on standard medical policies (from back when Caleb used to manage Blaise General Hospital), and edit them to make them your own policies and procedures. --Mobius187 March 11 2007, 9:45 PM (EST)
Wow... I hadn't really seen that whole page before. Is that intended to be a replacement for the current DITPS page? Also, on a more personal note, are you a Dulston Alliance wiki guru, or just a kind soul helping us out? --Intx13 02:19, 12 March 2007 (UTC) Wow, I must have had the page cached. Looks great! :)
I'm simply a Wiki guru who is interested in improving the look and feel of the UD Wiki. Originally I focused on the suburb and location wikipages, but eventually that extended to the groups in those suburbs. Actually it's very easy to spot my name, just open a location wikipage in Dulston, Pescodside, or Rhodenbank and check its History tab. There I am. In 50-70% of the cases I was the one who created the wikipage in the first place. Next stop, Rolt Heights... that should be some real work. Anyway, enjoy your groups' new wikipage(s) and be sure to discuss with your group what policies and other changes you want to make to them, after all, don't just follow the policies I suggested because I just threw that together from what I remembered from my "doctoring" days. :P --Mobius187 March 12 2007, 9:27 AM (EST)

Alliances/Ally Requests

Want to form an alliance with DITPS? Of course you do! Post your request here with the newest requests at the top:

FLUB loves DITPS!!

Those of you who know the FLUBbers (aka the Flustered Brethren) know we've had a bit of a conundrum with one member, Flustered Frank. Frank made the bad mistake of getting brain rot as a skill, and he spent a month wandering and wondering what to do next. With the Brain Rot Revive Clinic in South Blythville out of business, we were worried he'd have to bag it and start anew.
Thanks to the excellent crew at DITPS, Flustered Frank is back among the living -- and hopefully for good!
The DITPS has earned a bunch of favors from FLUB today, folks! Thanks for all the help! I used my last 20 APs to make a syringe, but before I could log on Saturday morning and use it, I got FOUR phone calls telling me Frank was back! I told you guys it was worth it to log on after we got back from the bar!
DITPS rocks! You have our eternal gratitude!
Signed,
Freddy 06:16, 6 October 2007 (BST)

FLUB Says Hi!

After putting a size 12 policeman's boot in my own mouth, I want to request that you consider the Flustered Brethren your ally. Despite poor tact, we have decent tactics (I'd like to think), and mean to accomplish similar goals. Right now, we're working more on the north end of Dulston than we had been, but will drop in at Anne General Hospital to help out whenever we can. We only knocked out about three or four Zeds there today, but we'll be back if you'll have us. --Freddy 21:57, 3 October 2007 (BST)

Your welcome to stay at Anne General Hospital for as long as you like. Just be sure to stay clear of some of the staff. Just between you and me, some of them are a bit shifty. Oh, and feel free to slip envelopes full of money under my office door. --Deathwire 17:40, 6 October 2007 (EST)

Join the revolution

I would like to invite you to Viva La Revolution, I would right more but I am on a very tight schedule, ask for more details, okay? --Darkmagic 21:31, 29 September 2007 (BST)

Well, as it seems from your wiki page, you're a survivor group trying to band everyone together. A thousand or more such alliances exist and are all at war with one another, or at least exist on tenuous bonds. Your group does not stand out from the rest, and judging by your history and current page, you are going to start up so much wiki drama that it will subsequently spill over and give us many headaches. I personally have little authority over such matters, but as it stands, I would have to politely decline and wish you luck in your endeavors. The management will be by shortly to either back up my own concerns or agree to join.--R.Marsh 00:54, 1 October 2007 (BST)
This isn't like the other alliances, were determined to unite survivors and stop that, to keep us together, to end the pointless wars. anybody wants to stop us will become pkers because they killed for no reason.--Darkmagic 00:57, 1 October 2007 (BST)
That's exactly my point. "Those that try to stop us..." applies to any group who doesn't join you. That's exactly how many other groups think. I have just been to our forums, and one of the co-founders agrees' with my logic and proper caution. Distinguish yourself and there may be a shift in sentiment, but until that point in time, we will have to decline. --R.Marsh 01:28, 1 October 2007 (BST)
What i mean by stop us is attack us for no reason simply because of said goals, if you attack us for that, you will be put down for 2 reaso ns
  • 1: you declared to be a pker by action
  • 2: You promote pkerism and the death of survivors for no reason.--Darkmagic 01:30, 1 October 2007 (BST)
The answer is still no. Judging by your history here at the wiki, and other sources, all I forsee this alliance doing is dragging the DITPS into several wikidrama fueds, ingame annoyance, and a general quagmire of political and combative intrigue. We try to remain as neutral as possible when it comes to human groups, aside from those deemed as "Grief" groups. We will still service you if you come into the hospital, but don't go dragging us around in the annoying little world you seem to be living in.
In essence, we refuse to be in an alliance with you, but we will still provide you quality heals, revives, and protection while inside our hospitals. This does not mean you can go around and say, "Oh, look at me. I'm in the hospital being protected, therefore the DITPS are in the alliance!" That just makes people think that we partake in whatever the hell you do here, which we don't. Granted, we help retake buildings inside the designated campus, but we do not stage major raids or whatnot. --R.Marsh 01:52, 3 October 2007 (BST)
Major raids? When'd i say that? now ojnce were running we will probly do raids on area's almost soley filled by pkers, then maybe we have reason to not join by that. I respect your decision.--Darkmagic 22:03, 3 October 2007 (BST)

Dulston Alliance Ally?

I just wanted to ask whether this group considers itself to be allies of the Dulston Alliance. This has nothing to do with joining the Alliance, but rather showing support for the Alliance as well as being willing to step in when there's trouble afoot. In most cases the Alliance is concerned with threats to the NE Corner, but as allies your concerns could simply be for Dulston.

Anyway, if you want to show your support then visit this wikipage and include the "Allied" template banner on your main page. --Mobius187 February 13 2007, 7:24 PM (EST)

READ ME: Voting has ended, although delays were caused by Mall Tour '07, and I have been informed to advise you that the D.I.T.P.S. membership request into the Dulston Alliance has been accepted. Arrangements are currently being made in the Alliance forum to provide you with your own section and you will be contacted about access to the restricted section (for Member Groups only), as the rest of the forum is open to the public.
Here is all you need to do for the time being, confirm that you accept admittance into the Dulston Alliance. If so, I will begin updating the Wiki (Dulston suburb and DA group) accordingly. If you require further assistance at that time with your group wikipage just let me know. While I am not an official member of the Alliance I am more than willing to help out its member groups. As to why I'm not a member, well, Caleb's under contract with NecroTech... ;) --Mobius187 March 7 2007, 11:54 AM (EST)
Dulston Alliance Forum
Just wanted to let you know that your own section has been created on the Dulston Alliance Forums here. Welcome to the DA. -- Cheeser, DvB|DA   16:57, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

The Electric Light Torchestra

We are a very young and very small group up to now and our contribution to the wellbeing of Malton is therefor also only small. But we commend your helpful attitude and consider ourselves peaceful and dedicated to "enlighten" the town (starting at only one suburb, however: Dulston). We hate the undead hordes as much as you do and would feel more than honored, if you considered our work and decided to form an alliance with us.--PsychoLycheeELT 00:49, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Sign Me Up!

I wouldn't mind helping you out. You can put me on your page Rip Purr. I'm a bit of an old hat at all this. Might I suggest you co-ordinate your revives with either the CDF Tool or DEM tool. Both are very useful revive tools, and if you ask the CDF and keep you rev points up and running, they'll add Dulston or Hammerton to their list, which will make it easier for people to register for a rev. --Rip Purr MR 12:25, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Complaints Department

Hey, we can't be friends with everyone. After all, how many people love to visit the hospital? Trust your doctor? Well, while DITPS tries its best to provide expert care to all survivors staying at their hospitals there will always be people with problems. If you have a complaint feel free to post it here, with the latest at the top:

DeWolf

There appears to be a player, DeWolf (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1028621), who is impersonating your group, most likely from Red Rum. He PKed me in Whitlock when they decided to have that little slaughter yesterday, and I jus felt it would be good to warn you so taht you don't get a bad reputation. If he is a member of your group, then you should probably deal with it. I forgot a screenchot, but I'm sure someone else in Whitlock got one. --Yonnua Koponen 17:52, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

He's not. A member that is, he isn't one.Deathwire 14:27, 25 March 2008 (EST)
Good to know, he's been PKing a few of us. You should watch out for him, he could ruin your rep. --Yonnua Koponen 18:29, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
According to Pubicpublover, same thing happened again, but with RKM, who appears to be listed on your group list. Apparently Iwitness broke. He one of yours?
RKM was a member. I'm not sure if he still is considering he never officially resigned. He has the extra period at the end of "D.I.T.P.S" which is usually a dead give away that the person is an impersonator. Deathwire 14:24, 24 August 2008 (EST)
Thanks again, I told pub. I'll tell you if we run in to any more.Yonnua Koponen 22:22, 28 August 2008 (BST)

Not so strong now, huh?

I like the job you guys did protecting the suburb from the Big Bash. Everyone who needed a healing got one, and Anne held up for a long, long time! I mean, it was practically Giddings~!

Wow. Is that sarcasm Standard Zombie? I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that, on your own, your efforts to date against DITPS proven completely ineffectual. Or maybe that's not sarcasm. Perhaps you expected DITPS to stop the BB2. If so... double wow. I've known the DITPS for some time now and that's a serious over-estimation of their capabilities. Let's be honest, from what I saw they had to deal with 60+ zombies and Kevan's new "anti-barricading" rule with 20+ active group members split between two or three local hospitals. Now this is an estimate, but that's about 1:10 odds. If DITPS had actually held out I think the BB2 would have been utterly humiliated. I would have laughed too. Mostly because it would have been very funny. Unfortunately either your sarcasm is misplaced or your estimations over-estimated. Either way, I guess what I'm saying is, have a nice day. --Mobius187 13:15, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Hate to say thsi Mobius, but Anne General did hold out to BB2Yonnua Koponen 17:48, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Again

I hate you fools. You are nothing more than a well-disguised PKer group! If I had a digital camera, you'd all be on the Rouges Gallery. (And I'm probably going to buy one, soon-watch out!) Standard Zombie 03:36, 4 October 2007 (BST)

proof?--Darkmagic 04:56, 4 October 2007 (BST)
What is it now? --R.Marsh 05:30, 4 October 2007 (BST)
He's talking about the three Death Cultists/Zombie Spies we killed in Anne General. The last guy was an Undeadite and he Mr. Zombie figures that he was innocent. Mr. Holden, the Undeadite Flyte killed, was telling the Undeadites how many people were lodged in Anne General. --Deathwire 08:05, 4 October 2007 (EST)
(Sigh) --Mobius187 12:00 PM, October 4th 2007 (EST)
I need proof before i recognize this group as a pker group and therfor a KOS for the revolution, i don't jsut accept word of mouth without proof, and you coulda pushed print scren, gone to paint and put it on like image shack and shown us, you don't need a camera for screen captures.--Darkmagic 23:09, 4 October 2007 (BST)

ATTENTION

You guys are getting realy annoying, so I'm going to tell you guys one last time, you don't own Troubridge Cinema. It's already managed by Ragnarok and Dead vs Blue. Although Ragnaroks been out of it a while, (I think it was all one or two guys, same description!) there is still a DvB presence here. It would be good to have another group around but the cades stay EHB no matter what. Zeds brake in way to often on anything lower. =P 01:40, 15 July 2007 (BST)

I fail to understand what you are accusing us of. If you believe that a member of our group tampered with your barricades then I ask that you supply proper proof of the incident on to our forums. A name of the member or a picture would help resolve this conflict. I only ask that you cease accusing our group of something without addressing us on our forums about the problem. Deathwire 17:29, 15 July 2007 (BST)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Check-Mark-Reviewed.jpg Group Confirmed.
This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Currently the suburb in question is Dulston but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --Adavastor 11:24, 30 July 2008 (BST)

Aye, we're active. Deathwire 1:09, 31 July 2008 (EST)
