Fryerbank is a suburb of Malton, located in the south-east quadrant of the city. It contains the southern half of Joachim Mall. It is reputedly one of the dullest suburbs in Malton, having no history worthy of note, and being so boring that humans and zombies alike avoid it in droves. In fact, the only people who actively sought to visit Fryerbank pre-Outbreak were Professors of Boredom Studies and Applied Tediology.

Post-apocalypse, the suburb's main attraction is the mall to the extreme northwest; however, it is not connected directly by free running links to the rest of the suburb, and the southeastern half is difficult to get to, because of a second, suburb-wide gap in the free-running lanes.

The suburb's chief point of intellectual interest is a funnily named museum.
