After a rough month for survivors in Starlingtown, the suburb is finally returning to a semblance of normalcy. Cades are up and lights are on in most of the important buildings, as well as some of the non-essential buildings. Low-level break-ins remain a concern, but they're nothing the survivors can't handle. Danger level downgraded to "moderate." -- Jenkem 09:17, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

There are several break ins due to an increased zombie population and low survivor poplulation in the area, making it difficult to hold buildings. Resource buildings however remain secure for the time being. --EzriSun 16:31, 4 July 2008 (BST)

The suburb has seen a drastic improvement over the past two weeks. Break-ins are rare, all buildings are standing, and many are powered, including some of the non-resource buildings. Waits at the revive queues are short. The Giddings Mall is standing in Pitneybank, which is also a huge boost to Starlingtown. --Jenkem 11:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Baricade plan is not being followed. All players beware of getting stuck outside. VSB Buildings around the RPs are heavily baricaded. The poor people being revived will have to go right back to the RP if they arent lucky or careful.--Bunkis 06:30, 20 May 2008 (BST)
I'm going to update the danger level to moderate, as there are zombies in some buildings, as well as large amounts of zeds moving north from Dentonside and Houldenbank. --Larspcus2 07:04, 20 May 2008 (BST)

There have been some zombie break-ins in the Flower Walk Fire Station, and a PKer/GKer also in the area, but things in the suburbs are still going smoothly. --EzriSun 14:01, 7 May 2008 (BST)
That Pker/Gker was me. I got bored =) M47 fun

Starlingtown is now a green suburb, with all buildings repaired and many also powered. There are few local zeds in the area that do break into some buildings from time to time, but are quickly dealt with.--EzriSun 15:27, 5 May 2008 (BST)

Starlingtown is improving. Many buildings in the area around the Veryard NT Building are at EHB and have generators. Revive lines are short or non-existent. Once Giddings Mall is restored, the suburb will really be in good shape for survivors. --Jenkem 17:20, 21 April 2008

Veryard NT is wide open. I can't tell how many zombies are inside, as my corpse is out on the street, but there are 12 zombies outside with me.--Scott Timewell 00:48, 9 April 2008 (BST)

Life is slowly coming back. Revives are slowly being given out, everyone waiting are asked to be patience, the South Paynterton Aces are doing their best to clear the massive line up. Many buildings are still ruined, but the overall zombie population is low.--EzriSun 00:01, 1 April 2008 (BST)

About 25 zombies visible from within three blocks of the building I was in, didn't have the AP to do a proper sweep of the area but it looks as if zombies have forced their way into several buildings. Be very, very careful folks! Rookie 0200, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Most bulidings around the Fire Station have been ransacked and ruined with multiple groups of 20+ Z's on cooresponding blocks.
March 8th
Break-ins in Starlingtown are frequent and zombie numbers fairly large. That said, the zombies' efforts are disorganized and survivors are holding their own. Several resource buildings in the center of the suburb have lights on. Danger level downgraded to "moderate." -- Jenkem 0200, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

I had holed up at the Woolven Motel. It was Very Strongly Barricaded at the time. Checked in and it was only Lightly Barricaded. Made a dash for it with only 10 APs into Pegton. At the time I left there were 5 zombies tearing down the barricade at The Woolven Motel.--AleViola 05:22, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

NecroWatch reported from the Casely and Veryard Buildings revealing that there were 42 zombies within scanning range of both facilities. Of note, the scans detected 6 zombies at Crosbie Grove Railway Station, 5 more zombies at Crump Cinema, and there were two sets of 4 zombies at Brendan General Hospital and directly outside the Veryard facility. --Mobius187 22:20, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

There have been changes to the barricading policy. As well, The Veryard Building is now the official home of the South Paynterton Aces in Starlingtown. Of course, Aces and no Aces alike are welcome in the building.--EzriSun 13:41, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

It's a mess in Starlington. The Veryard Building is ruined (as are at least a dozen buildings near it) so I wasn't able to get a scan, but there are zeds outside of nearly every building, and several small groups. The Veryard Building's going to take a couple people to clean up: there were ten outside, five inside, and ten dead bodies inside. Good news is that most of the ruined buildings don't actually have any zombies inside, so they can be fixed more easily. It's just a matter of people doing it. Make sure you have a toolbox and enough AP to find an unruined safehouse before moving around the town. --cuio (talk) (NW) 23:14, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

External Military: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see maybe fifty on the streets ... maybe a dozen outside St Alban's Hospital ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... the Veryard Building has power ..." --LH779 02:23, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
December 24th
St Alban's Hospital [96, 46] was at EHB, with a generator and a radio transmitter earlier in the day, but 3 of the 10 Zombies outside got in and ate 2 of the other 3 defenders and took a bite out of me before I retreated. Mike Thriller 19:37, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
I updated the Starlingtown Barricade Plan:
- St Alban's Hospital: EHB. It is hit hard often.
- The Veryard Building: EHB. It is crucial to our survival and has been EHB for weeks. --Mike Thriller 14:25, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

December 19th
St. Alban's Hospital [96, 46] has all but fallen. The doors are wide open and there are no barricades. As of 16:30 Pacific Time, there were five zombies outside and one inside attacking the generator. The generator is heavily damaged, but the lights are still on. Jenkem 16:33, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
December 15th
Scan from the Veryard Building revealed about 40 zombies in central to south eastern corner of the suburb. I've been here a few weeks now and the Barricade Plan seems to be ancient and ignored. It has the look of the UBP that wants to let green recruits into the NTs. NecroTech Lab Assistants start out with a DNA Extractor. I believe NTs need to be EHB at all times. --Mike Thriller 23:34, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Despite the edict of local authorities against installing generators in Crump Cinema, the VZW presented a day of local films as part of the First VZW Malton Film Festival today. Several local survivors were present and local zeds were seen to loiter around the edges of the building listening to the sounds of the movies. --Shazzelim 21:33, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Just found this from the External Military on Halloween night. It may have been broadcast a week ago but the situation seems identical to today, with the only change being possibly fewer zombies on the streets. "... about forty in Starlingtown ... they're just wandering around ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... only a few buildings damaged ... the Casely Building is down ..." --evilbob 04:17, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Just when all seemed lost, a few days ago major survivor gains were made, to the point of even retaking Veryard - which hadn't been up in over a week. However these were short-lived due to a seemingly coordinated mass break-in, and the slow battle of attrition for the rest of the central area of the suburb has begun again. Not much has changed in this suburb over the last couple of months, and it seems to be the same few zombies verses the same few survivors in the same few buildings most of the time. My September 10th report is just as true today as it was then. --evilbob 18:18, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
October
October 16th
The battle of attrition is slowly being lost. Veryard isn't staying up for more than a day at a time anymore, and the surrounding buildings are being systematically ruined. The center of the suburb is almost completely lost, and the survivors that are pushing back are not holding ground for long. This suburb is nearly, if not already, red. --evilbob 21:32, 16 October 2007 (BST)

Veryard and surrounding buildings are repaired and at least HB I think. Veryard and St. Albans at EHB. Veazey is up, so if you want to txt your frnds, do so nw. Adaxa 03:04, 12 October 2007 (BST)

September 24th
Things are slightly better for survivors now. There are fewer buildings ruined, and the Veryard building is lit - but also under general attack each night. Still could go either way. --evilbob 01:54, 25 September 2007 (BST)
September 10th
Only a few survivors are in the area and many buildings are ruined, but it seems like only a few ferals are holding them down. A couple of resource buildings are powered and going, but the rest are either powered down or ruined. A strong group could come in and claim this suburb easily for one side or the other. --evilbob 01:28, 11 September 2007 (BST)
August
August 27th
As with Paynterton to the north, almost the entirety of buildings along the border have been ruined, likely others as well. Zombies are very numerous, survivors seem rare. Whether this is a continuation of the state of affairs in June or something else passed between them, might be helpful to know.--Insomniac By Choice 14:39, 27 August 2007 (BST)

Starlingtown is officially Z-Town. I recently visited the area and wasn't able to find a single survivor or any barricaded buildings. So far there doesn't seem to be any major hordes gathered anywhere, so any show of human force would be enough to take the suburb back.

December 12th
The suburb has, yet again, become more dangerous. Groups of zombies are breaking into safehouses in small mobs, but they don't have the numbers to effectively disrupt all the survivors yet. Sleeping on the streets is out of the question, and heavy barricades are recommended. Your advised to stay in a well populated building for maximum safety.
November
November 15th
Team 911 has officially moved into Starlingtown and given up their fiendish ways. Zombies roam the area breaking into safe houses all over and seem to be trying to take over the NT buildings constantly. The Goodship Deathz0r is still fighting the good fight.
November 13th
Due to barracade policies, this area is extremely newbie hostile. All resource buildings have either been cracked or barracaded up to maximum. If you do not have free running, it is suggested you stay away from this area. In addition, zombie numbers are fairly high.
October
October 17th
A new survivor group, calling themselves "911" or "Team 911" have moved in. They are so called PKers. It is advised to hug on sight. Zombies still roam the area breaking into safe houses. The Goodship Deathz0r, in Starlingtown to the last and always taking on fresh faces.
September
September 24th
The suburb has, yet again, become more dangerous. Groups of zombies are sporadically breaking into safehouses in small mobs, but they don't have the numbers to effectively disrupt all survivors. Sleeping on the streets is out of the question, and heavy barricades are recommended.
September 16th
After a short walk around the Southern area of the suburb, it seems to be fairly safe. Small packs (if at all) roaming around. Most buildings are secure, albeit few or no generators. Survivors are heavily disrupted, with mostly new people.
August
August 31st
Me and my force, AXIS OMEGA POLICE, have been ransacked and zombified. We need immediate revivification. There are 3 members in warehouse 90,43 in Starlington and they WILL NOT attack you. Please revive, and if possible, barricade the warehouse to medium protection. Also the zombie threat is a medium they seemed to rise up in numbers and then just fall back down. I'll check the zombie threat once more before setting threat rate. CO.Arpeggio out.
- Starlington is in red alert its completely unsafe to walk the streets or find a un ransacked building. Fire stations/ police stations/ hospitals all zombified. Virtually no safe location in suburb. Stay away at all costs. CO.Arpeggio out.
August 24th
The southern end of the suburb is wide open with zombies pouring in. Both Big Bash and the RRF move in and celebrate by eating brains.
August 23rd
The suburb is not safe. Break-ins are common and there is a large number of zombies filling the suburb, possibly due to Big Bash south of the suburb in Dentonside.
August 11th
The cluster of resource buildings in the centre of the suburb have all been broken into, and even though most have been cleared of zombies the survivor numbers there are low. The edges of the suburb remain secure.
August 7th
Traveled from south of suburb to the middle. Most buildings very heavily barricaded and unable to enter from street. Zeds still continue to be in packs of 2 - 6 at every resource building. Continue to proceed with caution in this area.
August 2nd
XIII Shots will NOT be occupying the Woolven Motel! It is the headquarters of the Goodship Deathz0r, and, from now on, any XIII Shots member inside claiming that it is their HQ can bugger off! We were there first. Also, The Goodship Deathz0r, happily obliging to sort of nearly do an ok job defending something apart from themselves is set up in Woolven, as of before those XIII Shots communists. So There. Most of the survivors in Starlingtown have gone to Giddings anyway, to help with the Big Bash.
July
July 23rd
Several zeds have been spotted in nearly every hospital and fire station in Starlingtown, in groups of 2 to 6 at a time. Recommend caution to survivors in and around those areas.
July 14th
The group, Da Gangstas, that was suppose to defend Starlingtown is not in business due to most of its members being accused of using clones. So Da Gangstas group is out of business. Sorry for the inconvenience.
July 13th
Upon making a trek from Pitneybank to Starlington, it can be discovered that Starlington is not as safe as it appears to be. Nearing the Flower Walk Fire Station, there were about 8 zombies at every block. There appeared to be no survivors lingering outside of the buildings.
July 9th
It seems like all members in the Da Gangstas are moving in to Starlingtown to defend it. They will be hiding out along the western border of Starlingtown. Let's just hope that this gang will work at its best keeping Starlingtown a zombie free area.
July 7th
Starlingtown is currently a pretty safe place to be, with only a few buildings overrun by zombies in groups of 2 to 6. The Northern part of Starlingbank is currently inaccessible. Survivors are told to go to the Southern, Eastern or Western part of the suburb for a safe house. July 8th UPDATE: Most of the buildings are inaccessible. The only buildings that are accessible currently are on the western border of Starlingtown. Be aware that there are only a few buildings that you can enter.
June
June 28th
Zombies on the rise. Report (4 dragged from fire building.) Horde may have arrived, as the attack was preceded by a series of calls.
June 8th
Nice to know somebody is. Anyway, might has well make public the proposed site for the fireworks show on July 3rd. It was originally proposed by the SRF, but now will need to be run by the community. The said location is Hacker Way
June 5th
Since the Starlingtown Resistance Front has disbanded, XIII Shots will soon be inhabiting the suburb of Starlingtown. The HQ of XIII Shots will be located at the Woolven Motel (92,46). Hopefully this group will stay together efficiently enough to keep Starlingtown zombie-free and survivor-friendly.
April
April 30th
Check out the new Starlingtown Power Report.
April 27th
This neighborhood is now protected by Starlingtown Resistance Front It will soon be completely safe to walk the streets. Update: Fat chance of that happening. They disbanded. Note:Sorry about that, helping to organize the city's hospitals is a full time job, and SRF wasn't going anywhere.
March
March 13th
After breaking out from Pitneybank police departments and prisons, a group of rogue criminals entered Starlingtown with guns blazing. Calling themselves "The Convicts," the felons are out to get vengeance on society and police pigs. Watch out, survivors of Starlingtown.
January
January 26th
It's about 1AM and my cellphone just suddenly stopped working. Shortly after this I heard some low groaning coming from the direction of the Veazey Towers. The zombies must have gotten in. I wonder if was the Billyblackeye_Brigade. I've heard they have a cell in this area that has been targeting communications buildings. Either way I know I'm going to have to head there tomorrow to see if there are any survivors, and try to restore power.
January 22nd
Upon entry of Starlingtown I have only seen a few zombies. Most of them are in groups of 3 or 4 and are outside major locations . If you seek shelter from the zombie hordes feel free to come here. Alone or not your basically safe as long as you can find a refuge ( there plentiful ) Hope you have a pleasant journey
January 11th
All groups of zombies seen by my scouts are under 8, and most are under 5. People passing through should be having no problems, alone or not. Try to freerun between buildings, and pick a low priority building, or your barricades may be broken! Not very likely though, good luck.

December 26th
I have just entered this area and have seen hordes of Zombies. Several groups of 3 and a group of 6. I have only seen 1 human. This should be marked as a DANGER ZONE to all lone humans!!
