See who's Pumped, Built, Ripped, Well-Muscled, etc.

Timestamp: 11:36, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Type: Display difference for Diagnosis
Scope: Both sides
Description: Diagnosis, by nature, is a skill that allows you to see if someone is hurt (and how bad) by looking at them, but as it currently stands, that doesn't include any way to see who has more muscles than others (Body building). I suggest we add a slight display change to the characters with body building. Instead of saying (50hp), make it ((50hp)). Easy visual cue that they've got it. That way, you don't have to waste IP hits looking at every 50 in the list to see who's got it. What do you all think?

  1. Author Keep - He's hurt, She's hurt, but I can't tell if he works out or not... Yeah. Bubacxo 11:36, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  2. Keep - Fixes the annoyance of having to open a lot of profiles just to see who's injured. --Toejam 12:50, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  3. Keep - I don't want to waste valuble IP hits. Do you? --Cap'n Silly T/W/P/CAussieflag.JPG 14:01, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  4. Keep-Change - Rephrase 'Buffed' if you want, but a simple visual clue to a maxxed HP character is a great help. --Yet another Steve 17:00, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  5. Keep - I don't want to be clicking on every fucking profile in a mall filled with 300 survivors just to see who, at 50hp, needs to be healed. Give me a break, this is a good move. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 23:45, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
  6. Keep - Simple. Helpful. Looks good to me. --Uncle Bill 01:11, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  7. Keep - It would be a nice simple visual cue, good. --Lord Evans 02:08, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  8. Lovely - Do I look like I have time to surf trenchcoaters' lame descriptions when I'm in healing mode? This is great.--Lachryma 02:16, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  9. Keep - Hell, you shouldn't need diagnosis for this. The whole POINT of body building in real life is that it produces easily visible effects. Put a bit of bulk around their ((Name)) for EVERYBODY to see. Or make Name bold. --S.Wiers X:00 02:45, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  10. Does some flexing, and poses Dude, people keep making brilliant suggestions like this, I might never have to post a suggestion again. I love this one cuz medics are missing out on possible bonus XP, for no good reason.MrAushvitz Canadianflag-sm.jpg 03:05, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

  1. Uh...you do know that clicking a profile link to see who has Body Building, then clicking the "Back" button on the browser(I'm talking about the arrows at the top left corner) won't waste an IP hit, right? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 13:08, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

  2. Kill - As above. Alternately, the way I would do it is to just open everybody's profile in a new tab and then close them if they don't need to be healed. --Gm0n3y 19:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

machine pistol/assualt rifle/rapid attack

Timestamp: —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Chris'Redfield (talkcontribs) 6:25, 2 March 2007 (UTC).
Type: a new weapon
Scope: Both sides
Description: I know that new weapons are overused and are usually crappy. and I am not sure if this one has been used yet.

how about a machine pistol or an assualt rifle found only at the fort and clips [that have 20 bullets in them, but rare to find] for it can be found at PD's and the fort. it would do 3 damage. but here is the catch, you only spend 1 AP to fire multiple or 1 shot. there would be a selection bar next to the gun option that would be #'s from 1-20 depending on how many bullets you want to fire. but to limit it's power the more bullets fired make the gun become DRASTICALLY more inaccurate. however if you land one bullet it still does three damage and if you magically land 20 you do 60 damage. but the chance of getting 20 would be impossible...also, sometimes bullets in between would not land. maybe even exponetially decrease in % when firing.

for example, you fire 20 bullets and land 2 dealing 6 damage. or you fire 3 bullets and land 1 dealing 3 damage.

unfortunatly it would need a skill for a little more accuracy

and zombies would also be able to get a skill called "failing arms" deal 3 damage and works the same as the assualt rifle, but without ammo, and much less accuracy

Kill Votes

  1. kill-I'm a survivor and I consider this both over powered and stupid. Providing the zombies with a weaker version of the same thing doesn't balance it. Also, for the love of god, edit your work before you submit it, so people can read it--Bunnyofdoom 03:08, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  2. kill - Please, in future use the talk:suggestions page before submitting it here. The community will tell you there whether or not it is worthy of submission on the main page, and save you the disappointment of getting it spammed into oblivion --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 04:16, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  3. Kill - Nonsensical and badly written. Appears to be incomplete, or at least not fully considered. --Saluton 04:39, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  4. Kill - I like the idea here of trading the ability to use ammo efficiently against the ability to release a huge amount of firepower at once. If you want to resubmit this, then fix up the grammar and spelling, provide exact odds of finding each item at each location, give the accuracies for using different numbers of bullets, take out the zombie skill, and point out the trade off I mentioned above. Then the suggestion should get a much better reception. --Toejam 14:32, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  5. As everyone above this vote as well as below it. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 16:38, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  6. New weapons are NOT intrinsically bad (nor should they never be suggested). This has a little potential, but needs a lot of work. As the others said, put this on discussion.--Pesatyel 16:53, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  7. Kill - Incomplete and disorganized. --ZombieSlay3rSig.png 21:39, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - Did you bother to check Dead in The Water for automatic weapons? They're a big no-no. --Cap'n Silly T/W/P/CAussieflag.JPG 02:53, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  2. Spam - This would almost be humerous if it wasn't so unfunny. Also, extremely overpowered and lacking detail. What percentage would the new zombie skill have? I just don't see this happening. --Banana reads Scoundrell for all of Yesterday's News, Today! 03:06, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  3. Illegal Drugs - I don't know what you're smoking, but I don't want whatever it is near children. Maybe next time you'll sober up and think about your idea for 10 seconds before slapping it up here.--Lachryma 03:13, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  4. Spam - "Simply completely awful and not worthy of inclusion on the Suggestion page for a two-week period." --S.Wiers X:00 03:22, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  5. What Are you Smoking? - Cause I definetly want some, if your post spam like this up. The folks here have been shooting down suggestiosn like these for quite awhile. --Kamden 06:28, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  6. Spam - You fight like a dairy farmer. --Hubrid Nox Sys WTF U! B! 08:29, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
  7. Spam - But I'll change it if you promise to learn how to make suggestions properly, actually try playing the game, and check yourself into rehab.--Priz 06:06, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
