Knights Templar/Recruitment
It is a duplicate of this ,... and the latter of the two is the one that's used. Knights Templar/Recruitment only linked to via their discussion page. -∞ Poodle of Doom ∞ 04:14, 26 July 2010 (BST)
- Keep - Historically, they have used both, as is evident from the comment on the page where the link is used. Also, it's in their group's space and isn't a duplicate, so I see no reason for us to speedy delete it without their say-so. —Aichon— 04:24, 26 July 2010 (BST)
- Even though it could be considered a crit 10, and is partially falls under the category of crit 1? I mean no no offense when I say this, really, but the key word there would be "Historically". Not to mention, I've spoken to them, and brought up the usage of the poem on that page on the admin pages once prior, looking to have it removed from their front page as well. I'd prefer it to be removed here as well, but I guess I'll have to accept it where it is.... -∞ Poodle of Doom ∞ 04:40, 26 July 2010 (BST)
- I'll grant that the pages serve similar purposes, but they were, at one time, being used concurrently yet for different purposes, so arguing that they're duplicates seems pointless to me, and it's certainly not a low content page. As for the template crit, maybe, but I'd really prefer to have their go ahead before deleting it since it's not in the Template namespace. If they give their say-so, I fully support speedy deleting it, otherwise it should really go to vote. —Aichon— 04:55, 26 July 2010 (BST)

Crit 4. —Aichon— 05:48, 26 July 2010 (BST)
EATEN |
Just a note, pages like this shouldn't be created. That isn't the talk page for a Category:Historical Groups/FailedArchive, it's the /FailedArchive subpage of Category talk:Historial Groups. It's a subpage of a category, used as a talk page. There aren't any actual pages that could go in a subcategory like this one (however I have considered draughting a policy that treats the archiving of historical bids in a manner similar to A/PM). 05:59, 26 July 2010 (BST)

- User:Se-Looters is actually a user and they have the right to have anything on their page, namely a redirect to the proper group. It wasn't of their choice since it seemed to have been moved and the redirect kept but I think this is a good move. Yes, the user is existent despite no edits coming up, I suspect it was from the last history purge in 07, it's just my opinion but I think the redirect is probably best kept. --

None
Crit 1? -∞ Poodle of Doom ∞ 21:44, 18 July 2010 (BST)
It's a reference to the default none field so it has some relevance, also it's linked to a lot of userpages because in character templates a lot of user seem to actually link the "none" to this page. I'm not saying it isn't eligible for SD but I'd prefer to see it go through deletions if no other sysop disagrees and deletes. --
01:28, 19 July 2010 (BST)
Kept - as with Journal:No Journal, it's a placeholder to avoid newbies creating red links. Although, they could be consolidated, so that No Journal (and any others about) either redirected to None or Example page (depending on context) -- boxy talk • teh rulz 02:53 19 July 2010 (BST)

- Quick question, if it has a "Group Page", why doesn't the group "None" show up on the stats pages? -∞ Poodle of Doom ∞ 16:17, 19 July 2010 (BST)
- There needs to be a smilie to convey the way I pinch the bridge of my nose when I'm frustrated. The stats page tallies up the entries into the "Group" field on in-game profiles, displaying groups with 10 or more active members (I'm not 100% on how it works since I counted ten tagged RDDs the other day but it explicitly states ten or more). The page None is a dummy page for use with various templates on the wiki, and none of the wiki pages will affect any game pages (with the one sole exception being that the stats page will auto-link to the wiki pages of listed groups if there are pages for them). Two things that do not mix, basically. 16:38, 19 July 2010 (BST)
- None is the default tag for a character's group. When users come onto the wiki sometimes they specify this is their status in their affiliation with groups. All it takes is for one guy to see the link is red for them to make the page saying "group" or "this is my group for character 236" or something annoying like that. I'm going off track, the answer to your questions is, again, as simple as the method of finding out- simple deliberation: If None WAS on the stats page, it'd look pretty fucking stupid to see that of the actual groups, the top one was one that unintentionally had 7500+ members and didn't indicate any sort of organisation either. If this is another one of your attempts to try and demonstrate a point with smart-arse and pointless questions, the REAL answer lies somewhat in the one I gave- the page is there as a group because it's a placeholder for the term "none" which is a reference towards the default group affiliation which around 7500+ players of Urban Dead may one day be compelled to follow up if they find a link to it. It just so happens that it's written in good humour and half of that humour is the fact it's a short page about a "group" or at least "common affiliation" that has a short history and a short description. If you're wondering why it's classified as a group, it's mostly because that's literally the best thing we can liken it so, it could loosely be part of Glossary but the whole joke of the page is that it describes itself as a group so it'd be silly not to categorise it as such.
- I'm really tired so I ramble, forgive me. Another point is that if you really are trying to make a point of it trying to be classified as a group even though it isn't one in the classical sense, well category:Groups isn't the official indicator for what groups exist/ed in game, it's just a list of groups on the wiki. In that category, there are several nonexistant groups, wiki-centric groups and humorous groups. This is one of those. -- 17:21, 19 July 2010 (BST)

- A Survivor's Guide (really a crit 1, as Red Hawk wiped it for some reason)
- Bounty Hunter's Guide
- Anti siege strategy and Guides:Anti siege strategy (there are a couple of talk page comments linking to the former - I'm not going to edit out those, and they are all pre-2007 anyway.)
- Claw for Grasp, Bite for Threes
- DamagePerAction and DPA have been unused for a while. Damage Per Action is likely a search term, and is probably worth keeping.

- The page is currently 50 minutes old and created by a new member. Its use appears to be as a guide for new zombie players, and as such, should be allowed a bit more time than less-than-an-hour to make it. Also it's not even remotely a crit two, and if you're wanting to apply crit one to it then perhaps A/SD is a crit one of A/D. I'm voting keep on this bad boy. 04:01, 14 July 2010 (BST)
