Your edit to the Hall Building

I don't know why you removed those two lines from the Hall Building page. I'm reverting them back for now. As a general rule, it's better to add things to the Wiki rather than to remove from it. After all, we need those contents to grow, not shrink. -- Kittithaj 18:32, 27 June 2009 (BST)

How to report news

I've seen your recent edits on the Dewes Building and the Hall Building and I think I need to tell you a few things about reporting news and current building status:

  • DO NOT just delete old news. They have historical value. Move them to the history section, newest news on top.
  • DO report neutrally as much as possible, unless it's your or your group's page. Adding some flavor text is fine, as long as you don't make it too biased.
  • DO observe styling in use. Usually it is Month Date th, Year - News (e.g. July 1st, 2009 - Dewes has fallen.), but different pages may have their own styling. Try to be consistent at least within the page.
  • DO sign your post every time. The general rule is, when you add something that can be obsolete with time, time stamp it. Use ~~~~ to sign and it will automatically add a time stamp.
  • DO read style guides. Like this, this, and other similar guides. So your edits will be consistent with others.

P.S. I see you've removed the RP tag from the Finch Monument on the Santlerville map. However, many information saying than Finch is a revive point still remains, contradicting it. Either you need to remove them all or add the RP tag back in the map. And, where do you get the information that Finch is not in use anymore?

-- Kittithaj 16:00, 1 July 2009 (BST)

Okay, I'll ask the Burchell Arms Regulars if they're still maintain that revive point. And, if they still operate in Santlerville, for that matter. Also, always remember to sign your comment with ~~~~. -- Kittithaj 15:51, 3 July 2009 (BST)

Hey

If you want to advertise your "policy", then you need to be a putting it int he proper place, or use templates. The list of rez points isn't where you slap things like the cemetery policy and your church one, it's for listing said churches and cemeteries that are actively maintained. I suggest making a template that others can use to show their support and going that route. but slapping a blurb about it at the top of that page is not nice at all. :'( --Mr. Angel, Help needed? 08:22, 25 July 2009 (BST)

Internal links

When linking to a page inside the wiki, you can just put the page name inside [[]]. (Typing [[ReligiousRespectPolicy]] yeilds ReligiousRespectPolicy). If you want to change the name of the link, just put your name after the link (typing [[ReligiousRespectPolicy|Respect]] yeilds Respect). I highly recommend you read through The help topics to learn proper editting technieque.

On a side note, you might want to run your new policy by the community for input before you begin posting it all over.--~ Red Hawk One Talk | space for lease 08:29, 25 July 2009 (BST)

religious respect policy

why remove all content from your policy ? it only lacked some more formatting for a good article and policy... which i bet in due time would get enough supporters as the sacred ground does. --People's Commissar Hagnat [talk] [wcdz] 00:36, 2 August 2009 (BST)

Signing

Please sign your edits on the wiki. You can do this either by typing ~~~~ (four tildes), or by pressing the Button sig.png button in the editing toolbar. Signing your edits in the standard format makes it much easier to identify when and who has made changes, and creates less work for sysops and other wiki users. -- boxy talkteh rulz 05:11 2 August 2009 (BST) 05:11, 2 August 2009 (BST)

Your suggestion

You have to use the suggestion templates, in order to create a page like this one, and add it to Category:Current Suggestions. However, you should use Developing suggestions first. It greatly improves your chances of making a successful suggestion.--Orange Talk 05:42, 2 August 2009 (BST)

THAT'S better! However, It would be easier if you use this:
{{subst:DevelopingSuggestion
|time=~~~~
|name=SUGGESTION NAME
|type=TYPE HERE
|scope=SCOPE HERE
|description=DESCRIPTION HERE
}}

--Orange Talk 05:56, 2 August 2009 (BST)

Yeah, I should take a logic course or something :P--Orange Talk 06:04, 2 August 2009 (BST)

Suggestions

You're posting suggestions incorrectly. The correct procedure is listed here. The template used is different and automatically adds the voting guidelines and whatnot.

Also I would strongly suggest posting your ideas at Developing Suggestions first so your can get kinks in the suggestion worked out. People will help with working out problems and inform you if the suggestion is a dupe which means it won't make it past muster not matter what it's about.

Removing a suggestion that is doing badly to post another in the same day is considered bad form. You are limited to one suggestion per day in the rules. Developing Suggestions has no such limit.

Please consider using Developing Suggestions before posting fully-fledged suggestions in future and read the stuff on that page too as it provides helpful advice which will help you avoid bad suggestions that'll just annoy people. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 19:43, 2 August 2009 (BST)

Suggestion Vote Comment/Edit

Please be careful not to delete other user's votes when commenting. You've been brought up for vandalism here, though it looks like a simple mistake rather than a malicious removal. --Bob Boberton TF / DW Littlemudkipsig.gif 23:16, 2 August 2009 (BST)

Your case has been closed. No need to worry any further, better luck next time with your suggestions. --ϑϑ 02:32, 3 August 2009 (BST)

Hey

Meh, it's alright. I was probably to hard on you by going to vandal banning, there is no need for you to feel sorry. I can understand that this can be overwhelming sometimes ;) --Thadeous Oakley 23:23, 2 August 2009 (BST)

I don't think you need to worry. The case is ruled Not Vandalism, so it wont count for you.--Thadeous Oakley 23:30, 2 August 2009 (BST)

NecroWatch

NecroWatch is a group, you're not allowed to edit group pages without good reason. Adding large chunks of flavour without at least asking them first is not on. Either use their talk page and ask if they want it or forget about it. If you're looking for something creative to do consider starting a journal or something. You could also try making a user subpage and writing your stuff there but you can't just link to it ad-hoc from the group's page. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 00:53, 3 August 2009 (BST)

I've moved "Project 07391 Journal logs" into your userspace, it's now here: User:Justinbronze/Project 07391 Journal logs. That way it's your page and you're free to write whatever backstory you like about NecroWatch or whatever. If you want to link to it from NecroWatch itself though you'd have to get permission from the chaps in the group by asking on their talk page. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 01:01, 3 August 2009 (BST)
Justin, it's perfectly alright for you to make new pages and attach them to your user page, but the NecroWatch (and the associated ALICE concept and pages) are group-maintained entities created by someone other then yourself, so if you want to make changes to those pages you will have to use the NecroWatch talk page to first ask the people maintaining this project if it is alright to do so. Please respect the work and contributions of other people. CITIZEN VI 01:12, 3 August 2009 (BST)
By the way, that applies to any page not made by yourself or specifically meant to be edited by anyone in whatever way -- always post a message on the talk page of the page in question before you go changing things around to suit yourself. Thanks. CITIZEN VI 01:20, 3 August 2009 (BST)

You can't...

...change a suggestion without removing it.--Orange Talk 19:23, 3 August 2009 (BST)

It doesnt matters how much you changed it, the author can't change a suggestion if the voting has started--Orange Talk 19:39, 3 August 2009 (BST)

Saving Santlerville

Firstly, I must say, I can't help with your character in Pashenton. I don't live there at the moment. Your only best bet is to look at Pashenton Barricade Plan. Also, learn Free Running as soon as possible. It's literally a lifesaver.

Secondly, I don't think your plan to migrate to Yagoton would work. It's a good idea, but people are too lazy to go there. Heck, some of them don't even want to move to greener adjacent suburbs even if I told them so! They elect to stay in ruined Santlerville waiting for help. In the end, I must convince others to make revive runs instead.

Get as much experiences as much as possible from Yagoton. Scan the zombies and revive friendly ones. Check the Rogues Gallery so you don't revive PKers and Death Cultists. Search for their names and ids in the Wiki as a second confirmation, because some groups don't accept the Gallery and run their own list. If you can't find zombie in such a green suburb, try healing injured survivors. Punch them and heal if you need to (don't forget to say sorry afterwards!) Learn Diagnosis, First Aid, and Surgery, in that order, after you've got Free Running. You can delay learning First Aid and Surgery if you don't want to heal people too quickly, and want more experiences. Learn fighting skills later, because in a green suburb, there are not much zombies to fight anyway.

As for your infection problem, that's why you should always keep at least one first-aid kit with yourself at any time. That way if you are infected, or just revived, or revived with infection, you can heal yourself immediately. And if all else fails, let the infection kill yourself and get revive again. That won't be so hard in a green suburb. Good luck. -- Kittithaj 19:59, 3 August 2009 (BST)

Gulsonside

Just a quick question. Why the change to moderate danger level? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:34, 3 August 2009 (BST)

This report?

17:04, 26 July 2009 (BST) 25.96 MHz: "... flying over Gulsonside, can see about forty on the streets ... all stragglers, no groups ... can't see any signs of life ... heavy structural damage ... the Perryn Building is out of action ..." (3 hours and 42 minutes ago)

That shows the entire suburb is a wasteland? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 22:20, 3 August 2009 (BST)

cool. Whats the basis for the calculation? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 22:26, 3 August 2009 (BST)
