Zombie threat is high. There are small groups of zeds wandering the streets, and I haven't seen any survivors. The Haim NT building is down, though they haven't destroyed the generator yet. The rest of the buildings in the area are all unbarracaded and ruined. I think we can consider Roachtown to be in zed hands for the moment. --User:Stars 96 12:44 PM (MST)

Increasing danger level. Much of the SE section of Roachtown is collapsing and for a while the chaos was reaching into the depths of the suburb before survivors could effectively react.--Jackson 00:32, 28 June 2008 (BST)

Several small zombie groups moving up from the southeast, group sizes range from 4 to 9, northwest seems pretty safe but the zombies are moving up pretty quickly. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Scarecrow63 (talk • contribs) at an unknown time.

Zeds are coming up Ridleybank and invading southern Roachtown. The free-running lanes in southern Roachtown are a mess. Several buildings are sitting pinatas with zeds outside and in. Most buildings are unpowered, and several completely unmanned. Break-ins happening often. Attacks happening at The Bourder Building [50,34], The Portman Building [50,35], Alner Mansion (primarily the attack is happening in the SW corner [51,37]. Haim Bldg [50,38], Club Pearce [51,38] and Glanfield Cinema [52,38] are dark, ranscaked and have zeds outside and in. Survivor count on the southern half of town is extremely low. Zeds outnumber humans in the south of town 3 to 1. Could use some backup if it's so safe.-- Kai Tan Sying Malton Rangers 04:14, 22 June 2008 (BST)

Recent recon of the suburb shows that only two buildings in Roachtown are ruined and that zed numbers remain below 25 despite the reapearance of RRF to the South. Even though buildings are even harder to repair and often not worth it due to the new rediculess mod, Roachtown and the Roach Klips will continue to stand strong. All Umbrella and UBCS members are to continue with Operation: Homegrown Part Duex until new orders are given. --Jackson 01:07, 1 June 2008 (BST) out. <math>Insert formula here</math>

Some TRPs are still functional, including both NTs, but non-ruined buildings are strictly block to block, making free running impossible. Not big zombie hordes however there are 4-10 zed groups in the North of Roachtown probably because of the Second Big Bash.--Lithedarkangel 20:16, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Update - Define "big" - The BB2 living up to its goal - dozens pushing south from the border of Shearbank, EHB's disappearing, buildings in ruins along border overnight. There is a rapidly growing zombie presence in the suburb, mostly ferals and small hordes. Over Barricading has become more prevalent, and there are many ransacked buildings. I would advise lower level survivors stay out of the area, and the danger rating for the suburb be upgraded to orange.
User:William Cooper
- MCF would like to add that the majority of zeds are concentrated in the south east. We are asking that survivors aid in the cleansing of South Roach, before the zed numbers grow to a threatening size.

Survivors have consolidated their hold of the suburb. All resourse buildings firmly in survivor hands, sparse zed presence. The biggest problem at present is over barricading. Changing status to moderate. Nate Santos
September 14th
Nearly three weeks after the MOB leveled Roachtown, survivors have regained a degree of control. After a fortnight of bitter fighting between the ferals that were occupying the suburb and the ROACH Klips plus their allies in the DEM some order has been restored. The battle saw key resource buildings in the centres change hands frequently with Chudley Necrotech switching from ruined to powered every couple of days. In the later stages of the fight assistance from survivor groups MCF BRIGADE, MOD and The Hard Corps helped the humans take and hold key buildings.
At the present time most of the Suburb is barricaded and all resource buildings are in survivor hands. Zombie presence in Roachtown seems to be concentrated around Cyril General hospital but it is currently holding strong. This suburb is now only dangerous. Nate Santos

Roahtown lies in ruins. The Miltant order of Barhah and large numbers of ferals have crushed the burb utterly. The Roach Klips remain in the suburb however, hiding in the ruins and running revives from Shearbank.

Roachtown is pretty much done. All pd's have fallen, and most resource buildings. I haven't seen another survivor all day. The Klip's seemed to have disappeared for the most part as well. MCF is going to make a run for Ketchelbank. We suggest survivors follow suit. -MCF OUT
August 20th
Changing status to very dangerous. Roachtown is a battlefield and the zeds are winning. Cyril hospital was overrun yesterday, after a spirited defence and lies in Ruins. Sires and Travers Police Department have also been destroyed. Chudley Necrotech looks certain to fall today, it's defences have been scattered and many zombies are within the perimeter.
The sudden collapse of human resistance can be attributed to the arrival of the Miltant order of Barhah in Roachtown and a reluctance among many survivors to place themselves in harm's way.
Significant numbers of buildings are still caded but they are falling fast. --Nate Santos 11:20, 20th August 2007 (GMT)

Man are we screwed, All of the PDs in this godforsaken place are under seige or have fallen. Same for the other resource buildings. I was part of the Sire PD defence but made a break for it like the sensible person I am.

Cyril Hospital in the centre of Roachtown is under siege from around 30 zombies. Several break-ins have already been repelled. Local survivor groups are calling on all nearby humans to come help defend this vital building. The revive queues around Bateson St are still moving very quickly. The north of the suburb is generally secure though there is little word of the south. Nate Santos 14:29, 17th August 2007 (GMT)
August 16th
Well LUE did not pay a visit to Roachtown but the situation has still deteriorated. Much of the the south of the suburb has been over run and lies in ruins. The current shortage of toolboxes means there is little prospect of that area being restored in the coming days. The main struggle has shifted to the centre of the suburb. After several days of running battle St. Dymphna's church was ruined earlier today by a horde of around 25 zombies. It seems as if they are now turning their attention to Cyril General Hospital. There are other smaller zombie groups abroad but the considerable survivor population in the north of Roachtown means this is still one of the safer places in Central Malton. Not that such a claim is anything to boast of in these desperate times. Nate Santos 14:29, 16th August 2007 (GMT)
August 13th
The crushing violence inflicted in Shearbank by the LUE horde has sent a wave of survivor refugees into Roachtown. As instability continues to wrack that cursed locale to our north it's a trend that looks set to magnify in the coming days. Perhaps attracted by the fleeing survivors increasing numbers of Feral zeds have appeared in the burb. Worryingly for the survivor population they are beginning to form into larger groups to take down previously secure buildings.
The centre of Roachtown remains relatively secure with the various survivor groups operating effectively to quash any zombie assaults. However the edges of the suburb are very dangerous with break-ins frequent. St Helena's Hosiptal in the North West is understood to be the latest victim of this trend.
There is an odd mixture of despondency and hope abroad among the Human population of Roachtown. If LUE turn south then all hope is likely lost. If they venture elsewhere then the survivors will likely reassert their control over Roachtown in short order. Nate Santos 14:36, 13th August 2007 (GMT)
August 6th
Roachtown remains reasonably secure, particularly in the North. However there is an increasing zed presence in the south. Most buildings are barricaded with the resource buildings being both safe and well populated. However Zombies break ins to other buildings are becoming are increasong in regularity. Overall Survivors remain in firm control of the suburb. However rumours persist that the RRF Department of Homeland Security will turn it's attention to Roachtown once the last human resistance in Barrville has been squashed. The Veal Lane PD of the South East corner of Roachtown is now back in survivor hands. Reinforcements are needed to hold the area from the local zombie presence. And who ever edited this does not know the situation, we need experienced players to come and help as most the people who have joined in the defense of this building lack skills which will stop the PD from been retaken and if they think they know so much about whats going on I suggest that they come and join in the defense of this building *radioing out* DeathsBrother

July 17th
The MPD announces that the proximity of the Big Bash to Shearbank, Roachtown and Ridleybank warranted a general evacuation from these suburbs. Members of the DEM made announcements to as many pockets of survivors as they could to facilitate the evacuation. All survivors in Roachtown are urged to leave the suburb. In accordance with Operation Tumbleweed, if there is resistance, then the zombies stay; if there are no humans to eat, there is less reason for a prolonged occupation.
July 16th
Citizens of Roachtown are encouraged to temporarily evacuate to a safer suburb, until the threat of the Big Bash [1] has been eliminated. Please take extreme caution if you choose to remain in Roachtown.
