EHB

Be careful, this extra suvivor concentration has made all the building go EHB in no time, without respecting the barricade Plan. It is really hard to get in the suburb, in fact, I had to fly away to a neighbour, and then jump my way to the places. Can you please made a radio announcements about that problem ? Thx GoLookAndKill CFT 14:15, 12 May 2010 (BST)

This is awesome! I can't believe we're actually trying this! Superathen 11:27, 3 May 2010 (BST)

  • Yeah! *High five!* It's time to see how straight those border guards can shoot. -Captain Video 02:23, 4 May 2010 (BST)
I'll try to be there with my alt... -Poodle of DoomM! Fear is only as deep as the mind will allow it be.T 02:39, 4 May 2010 (BST)

Yo! I'm doing this.
So up yo group numba's.K? (Also I think my whole group is doing this too)-- Jerrel tlk (82nd!) (Project Unwelcome!). 03:25, 4 May 2010 (BST)

It was just about time somebody organized an escape plan out of the God-damned foughten field Malton has turned into. I'm in. Mesousa 18:44, 5 May 2010 (BST)

Hell yes. Can't come personally - Got something to do. Will send an alt, though. Oidar 19:04, 5 May 2010 (BST)

Even if you do escape, where ya gonna go?! Regardless, am sending a (PKing) alt along. x --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 11:12, 6 May 2010 (BST)

Remnant Matt here, trekking all the way from Gulsonside to take part - it's about time I did something interesting on this game. --Remnant Matt 19:26, 7 May 2010 (BST)

Im with you all. ON THE OUTSIDE, THERE ARE NO WALLS! --Skritz

Changes

I've updated a better version of the nearby area map on the Escape article page. Mesousa 19:12, 5 May 2010 (BST)

I don't get it.... I missed something there. -Poodle of DoomM! Fear is only as deep as the mind will allow it be.T 04:02, 4 May 2010 (BST)
"The Prisoner". We're coming to get you, Barbara 04:14, 4 May 2010 (BST)
I made us a template about two hours ago, but God I love this. Not only do I love The Prisoner, the analogy is so perfect I'm amazed I didn't think of it before. It's getting complete endorsement on the web page. -Captain Video 04:37, 4 May 2010 (BST)
The Prisoner IS AWESOME! Should'nt there be a theme song for a movement like this? How about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMFYs3gfgis ?--Belisarius17 14:17, 5 May 2010 (BST)
We ARE numbers. We are NOT free! There is no escaping Malton. --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 14:23, 5 May 2010 (BST)
That's the point. There's no way out. We have to MAKE one - or get killed a few more times trying. -Captain Video 00:46, 7 May 2010 (BST)
Speaking of theme songs, i like your idea! here are two more that could be used potentially:

Offer of Help

I have an alt who'll be participating,... as I mentioned above. He's stocking up on syringes right now... I'm thinking about running a rev point for those who'll be showing up who need revs.... What do you think? Can anyone possably help with this? -Poodle of DoomM! Fear is only as deep as the mind will allow it be.T 02:43, 7 May 2010 (BST)

  • I'm sending an alt over to the RR station to help with things (so far I've just been organizing). He'll be there in a couple of days. In the mean time, I suggest picking one of the empty squares to designate as the RP. If Escape really catches the interest of the undead and the queue clogs up with rotters, we'll designate a few more spots so that the system won't grind to a halt. My alt has revival skills, so I'll be able to help. For now, just keep yourself alive and do what you can. Oswleybank is a yellow suburb, but it's between a green zone and a ghost town, so things shouldn't be too bad. -Captain Video 03:28, 7 May 2010 (BST)

Station Radio

Does the station (or one of the nearby buildings) have a radio installed? Once we get nearer to the event it might be useful for the organisers to be able to broadcast from a location that's closer to the action. --Remnant Matt 09:56, 9 May 2010 (BST)

The station used to have a transceiver, but we took it down because the radio transmissions flooded the place and made people unable to talk. As far as I know, the nearby building have no transceivers either; feel free to bring one and install it in a nearby building, if you want to. --Mesousa 23:48, 9 May 2010 (BST)
I put a transceiver in the Station, it should be used to communicate with the senior staff at the CORAM, is their a frequency we could tune it to? -Jeebus Josh --Fatfisher13 1250, 10 May 2010 (PST)
I say we broadcast on 27.42 if we want a closed frequency and 28.41 if we want an open frequency. --Remnant Matt 07:12, 11 May 2010 (BST)

Numbers

Congrats on having the most members of any group in the game - at present it's 141, a full half dozen more than RRF's seeming stranglehold. We're coming to get you, Barbara 00:17, 10 May 2010 (BST)

What had 2000 users? That strike thingy? We still have like three weeks or something, could get a lot bigger. --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 17:30, 10 May 2010 (BST)

As of this writing, we have 191 members out of about 19,200 active Maltonians. Almost one in every 100 citizens is a member of Escape. -Captain Video 20:40, 11 May 2010 (BST)

Congratumalations

Top number group! You do realise Kevan will just send you here? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:13, 10 May 2010 (BST)

That would be awesome! I've always wanted to go to Monroeville --Superathen 20:19, 10 May 2010 (BST)
I think I'd like it better if we vanished from the game and our profile pages said we've escaped. It'd be like a "good ending" I'd be more than happy with. In fact, that ending would please me so much that I've sent my main account to Ellicott (this one), not a mere alt. --Mesousa 04:48, 11 May 2010 (BST)
What if we get to Monroeville and we're still holding syringes?--Superathen 11:07, 11 May 2010 (BST)
I'd be careful you dont waste them on rotters. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 12:06, 11 May 2010 (BST)
Nice idea, 'athen. Anyways, given the fact that zombies in there have already made up their minds to the fact that they won't be alive again, I'm pretty sure they've all bought Brain Rot by now. We can't even set up a rot revive point due to the lack of NT buildings. I'd just stock up on ammo and prepare to headshot as many zeds as I can. You know, there are only 58 zeds or so in there right now... we could defeat them through sheer numbers and even free Monroeville from the undead menace. We'd be fucking heroes. --Mesousa 17:36, 11 May 2010 (BST)
The Double M might have something to say about that. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:45, 11 May 2010 (BST)
I'd love to end up in Monroeville! I remember my only character there was PK'd about two days in. T'was kind of sad, because i never really experienced what being a survivor in Monroeville was like. I think monroeville, with its zero revive, elimination policy is pretty neat, but its a ghost-town now; two survivors, a few feral zeds? I think the survivor injection would be exciting- and we should keep our MkIIs: they would become a precious, finite commodity... It would be rather interesting.
There's another Romero's movie coming out in 2010. Odds are K might make a new city for it... --~~~~ [talk] 18:24, 11 May 2010 (BST)

Monroeville sucks! Wish the zeds would finish off those final few humans. How do they never finish the job? --    : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : 20:09, 11 May 2010 (BST)

Well.. It's a bit too big for 50-60ish zombies with poor organization located and kill two guys. Oidar 20:20, 11 May 2010 (BST)
Its not worth it. Now say it was a target rich environment than a lot of us zombies might reanimate. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:31, 11 May 2010 (BST)

Time of Escape

We all know that the date of the escape is June 1st, but at what time of day will the event take place? If possible, I'd appreciate it being at a time when we Europeans can take part. --Remnant Matt 20:23, 11 May 2010 (BST)

  • Don't know. We could always go with Midnight UTC, but I'm not sure how well that would work. Everybody filing in AT ONCE isn't really necessary; I think we should just be there BY June 1. -Captain Video 20:39, 11 May 2010 (BST)
I doubt I could make midnight. If all we need to do is just show up then I agree a time is not needed, but if Kevan takes notice and adds some form of action we could either just all go when we're ready or set up two or three different charges for people in various timezones. --Remnant Matt 21:08, 11 May 2010 (BST)
