Suggestion description
When inside a building with open doors survivors can shove wounded zombies (w/ less than 20HP) out the door. Simple.

So yeah, I skipped the talk page 'cause nothing ever happens quickly enough there, and I thought it was a half decent idea to begin with. The idea behind this suggestion is pretty simple. You're clearing a safe house, and you're out of ammo. What do you do? You push the zombie right out the door.

At that point, I knew that it would be overpowered. So I decided that the zombie'd have to be exhausted for it to work. Like they are at the end of the day, when they just stand there and sway with the wind. So I mentioned the HP part of the deal. For the shove to be efficient I thought it'd have to be better than a shotgun. That is, it'd cost less AP than blowing the zombies brains out. I did that backwards. See, I originally wanted it to be more of a desperate indirect attack. For that to work, it'd need some kind of risk.

Now I'm thinking you've got no ammo, and there's a zombie standing there in the room with you. You're going to risk getting near him so you can close up and stay safe for the night. What sort of risks would be associated with that. Well for one, the zombie might hurt you. It'd probably have to be a percentage deal, y'know? If the building's ransacked, you might trip. That'd lower your chances. Also If the buildings barricaded, it wouldn't work.

So yeah, whatever. Removed.

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - Maybe with zombies at 12 HP and for several AP. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 15:02, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  2. Kill Massive zombie nerf. A zombie doesn't fear death, they fear getting removed from a room of delicious survivors. This effectively reduces all zombie HP by 1/3rd. --Jon Pyre 15:03, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Kill# Worse than Jon Pyre said, actually. If they died at 20HP they'd stand back up and come in again and not get pushed back out 'till 20hp. With this it'll be step in get pushed out, rinse and repeat. 6AP for head shot stand up, 1 for walk in (since barricades are down for this.)=7AP...or ping pong. Not unfixable but don't overlook it. (Kill as is, but I'd love to see the revised version.)Seigi 22:13, 19 November 2007 (UTC) Vote placed after suggestion was withdrawn. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 22:20, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  3. Kill - Out of genre. Zombies don't get pushed around. Laying hands on them like this is a good way to lose your hands. --Pgunn 15:28, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  4. Kill - If with zombies at 12 HP and it works with zombies against survivors too. UCFSD 16:58, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - Overpowered like a steam roller, this + barricades = bad.--Karekmaps?! 14:53, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  2. 'Spam - Yeah, incredbily overpowered. --User:Axe27/Sig 14:57, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  3. Spam - Overpowered, probably a dupe too. --Pavluk A! E! 14:58, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  4. Spam - Overpowered, plus it's just a reverse of a zombie skill I'd rather not see duped for survivors. --Karloth Vois RR 15:15, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  5. Fireman's Carry is a positive riposte to Feeding Drag. This suggestions isn't. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 15:28, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
  6. Spam - Say no to homogenisation --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 15:33, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

  8. Spam - There are two versions of this still in brainstorming, sheeeesh... here is what I said about the LEAST broken of those (far less broken than this version): "the problem with this is that survivors are able to do massive amounts of damage very quickly. so getting a zombie down to 12 hp would not be that hard. and then you just kick him out... it also negates a zombie's ability to stand up inside for 6 or 15 ap after getting headshot, i.e. a negation of cgi?rise, but also negates just being faster or luckier in a live combat. the reason Feeding Drag is not broken is because a) zombie damage is much lower than survivor damage and b) a Drag victim can be healed and even get up and go to safety -- but a French Kicked zombie would for FORCIBLY STUCK outside if barricades were up. all said, this would be a huge buff to survivors trying to clear out buildings -- game-breakingly so, i am afraid". This is the same s***, bigger pile, sorry. --WanYao 16:10, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
